Unique approach and very personable connections
Feb 2021
I took this tour with Buay and Eng who have a very special approach in connecting us with local communities. They are so lovely and so knowledgeable at the same time. With them, we explored the really interesting lifestyles and stories within Bangkok's Chinatown and discovered its unseen charm. Buay and Eng have a special ability to make everyone feel comfortable. Strongly recommend meeting them and joining their tours.

Superb day tour of Chinatown
Dec 2018 • Solo
Ms Kulsantipong led an inspiring tour through Chinatown, explaining its history and importance to Bangkok. The tour encompassed visits to temples and shrines, a museum and vibrant markets, selling an array of food stuffs, the like of which I have never seen before; quite amazing and fun to sample. This felt like life lived in an earlier Bangkok, before high rises and giant shopping malls. It was marvelous :)

Excellent Foodie tour of the floating market
I bought this tour as a birthday present for my boyfriend and we had a great time. It gave us the chance to try lots of things we wouldn't have known to look for, especially unusual desserts and new fruits and juices.
Our guide was Eng and she was really nice, spoke excellent English and gave us an insight into Thai food and culture. She encouraged us to brave the motorbike taxis (these were optional) to reach a market which we wouldn't have been able to get to on our own.
All in all a great experience and I would definitely recommend it to friends and fellow travellers keen to try new things!

good insightful tour with history
Feb 2018 • Couples
My wife and I had a good time walking around hectic chinatown and learning about its various interesting places. The tour guide Buay had lots of little interesting tidbits that added to the history of the place. It ended with a nice chinese thai lunch. She also was helpful in giving us suggestions for the rest of our time in Bangkok.

I had an amazing day exploring around China Town
Nov 2017 • Friends
I had a really fun day walking around in China town! our guide K'Buay is really nice and kind, she shows us some of the place that i don't even know it exist and tell us about its history and stuff. Other than that she also accommodate us with some Chinese herbs drinks (i think) which is a new thing for me cause i never tried it before but it was kind of good haha. Also, she take us to a really yummy lunch at this restaurant in China town which is personally my favorite part :P but yeah i really enjoy this tour and i would love to recommend it to anyone who doesn't have much time but still want to navigate around, i think this would be a perfect plan for you :) .

Amazing time exploring Bangnamphung Floating Market and Chinatown!
Sep 2017 • Friends
Our group of 4 spent 2 days with Eng exploring the Bangnamphung floating market and Bangkok's Chinatown and it was absolutely amazing! Not only were both experiences delicious and interesting, but Eng was also super knowledgable about all of the dishes we tried and places we visited. At the floating market, she had us taste everything from sweet and savory dishes to salty and spicy and it was all so authentic and yummy! And in Chinatown we learned so much about Thailand's history and the people who have made Thailand and Chinatown what it is today. In addition to eating all sorts of yummy foods both days, we also tried out several types of transportation - from motorbikes to ferries, bicycles and trucks, which was so exciting! You can tell that Eng and Buay put a lot of time and effort into planning their tours. If you're visiting Bangkok, we highly encourage you to visit the floating market and take a stroll through Chinatown with them! Not only will it be the yummiest decision you'll make, but you'll learn so much about Thai culture and cuisine :)

Bangkok's Chinatown walking Tour
Oct 2017 • Solo
I spent a very enjoyable few hours walking around Chinatown with Buay. We caught the ferry along the river and then walked through an area with interesting old shophouses and warehouses. We visited a number of temples and Buay showed me how to place my incense and candle offerings correctly so my wish will come true! We also visited the Gold Museum above a very old and famous gold shop and the market. Plus stops for coffee, cake and a delicious lunch of dumplings (all included in the tour price). Buay was very knowledgeable and helpful. Thanks for a great tour!

Solo Traveler. First Time to Thailand. Most Amazing Staff & Service. Everyone is Knowledgeable & Overly Friendly.
Feb 2017 • Solo
Southeast Asia has always fascinated me. Thailand is the place I wanted to go. When I travel, I wanted to belong like I've been there before. I wanted to eat like a local, so lots of street food, as well as whole in the wall places. I wanted to navigate the hustle & bustle of the craziness of Bangkok, so lots of different modes of public transportation. I wanted to learn the history & be more knowledgeable of this beautiful country, so I sought out what's meaningful & the love for their Beloved King.

As I prepared for my trip, I had no travel buddy. It was a last second trip & no one could get away. I was flying solo. I wasn't sure how confident I was to navigate Thailand on my own. One of my friends who have been to Thailand numerous times gave me the information on LJ Biz. My friend assured me that LJ Biz would do everything I wanted to do & wanted to learn. So, I researched them & made contact.

The beauty of my trip is LJ Biz helped customize my tour to my tastes. They understood that I wanted to learn the history. They understood I was a foodie & someone who enjoyed the local drinks. At different times, Buay & Eng were my personal guides to the city. Because of these two, I learned so much about Thailand & I felt very comfortable navigating around Bangkok.

With LJ Biz, I visited the Royal Palace, numerous Wats inside & outside the city, a couple different day / night markets, the Jim Thompson House, walk through Chinatown, and walk through various attractions & monuments throughout the city. Etc. Etc. And if you like shopping, there are a million malls. Go to Siam Center. Four Huge Malls.

Buay & Eng brought me to their favorite places to eat. I definitely ate like a local. And drank like a local too. I had Thai food 3 to 5 times per day eating a lot of street food & enjoying more tastiness at the local eateries. It was very good. Most of the places we ate were unassuming. So, don't judge good eats by their cover. Go Places & Eat things! That's the motto to live by. Oddly, I gained weight on this trip. There were too many good places to eat, so I did my best to try them all. Haha.

Buay & Eng taught me how to navigate like a local. We navigated the city by BTS, MRT, Tuk Tuks, boat Ride on the 'Coca Cola' canal & boat Ride on the river, as well as by taxis & personal pickup by car. I learned about the bus system too. Honestly, driving the city by taxis or by car is an adventure all by itself. Navigating the city was a lot of fun. You have to see the city by all of the above transportation. It's the only way to be integrated. It's easy too.

By the end of my tour, I definitely became good friends with Buay & Eng. They were so personable. They had so much knowledge. They knew exactly what I wanted & made it happen. I was treated like family. I believed I could live like a local. I was able to navigate Bangkok like a pro. I was able to eat spicy foods like it was nothing. I did everything I set out to do and to learn. Don’t get me wrong, there’s still plenty to see & to learn. There will be a return trip. However, this trip was customized for me.

Honestly, it was well worth it using LJB. They could have charged me doubled & that would be okay. I learned so much about Thailand & their beloved King. We visited so many places in our time together. Like I said, it was very personable. I was not lost in a crowd like other agencies. They made my stay perfect. When I come back to Thailand, I will use LJB again.

I am so glad to have been introduced to LJB. Many Thanks to Buay, Eng, & the rest of their staff in making my trip perfect. With them, I was able to do everything I wanted. With them, I was able to learn much about their country. With them, I saw many things most tourists would not experience. I am Grateful.

We got the most out of our 2 1/2 days!
Dec 2014 • Couples
We visited Bangkok in early December. By booking our tours through LJ BIZ "Let's Tour Bangkok", we saw so much more of Bangkok and the outskirts than we would have if we had arranged things on our own. We spent 2 1/2 days with guides Eng and Mee, driven around in a spotless new van by Jo. They spoke wonderful English and gave us a great education about Thailand whenever we were driving between tour spots. When we contacted them we told them our particular interests and they tailored the tours to meet them. We were met at the airport and began our first day with an outstanding seafood lunch in an interesting part of the city, followed by a walk through the village along the canal and a trip on the canal boats. We also stopped at traditional coffin makers, traditional makers of monk bowls, and a home where silk is woven, dyed, and made into beautiful garments. The second day we were toured around the incredible flower market and a giant food market. Then on a Tuk Tuk ride to both the What Pho complex and the Grand Palace. Having a guide made our walks through these areas much more focused and informed. This was followed by a tour around Bangkok's tremendous Chinatown and a gold museum. On the third day we were driven out of town to two places we will NEVER forget --- the Train Market and the Floating Market. We were brought to fantastic restaurants and snack stops along the way each day. We were guided to places with clean modern washroom facilities and helped with any shopping negotiations. All wonderful experiences which were enhanced by having these excellent and enjoyable guides.

Wow ! Gayle, Thank you for wonderful review. Mee and I are very appreciated this. We love to know all detail and what was the highlight of each day. You description is almost like a movie script which has full detail in daily activities. When I read it , it has the picture of each sightseeing and your group inside.  A memory picture, I think. Thank you for travel with us. It is our pleasure to have your group and have time to escort your trip especially. Happy holidays, Eng
