My wife and I visited Bangkok as part of our Silver wedding anniversary celebrations and wanted to ensure we got the most out of the experience so we booked a private guide to help us explore. Our guide Kim met us at our hotel and took us into the old town by Metro, helping us to understand how to use the service for the rest of our stay. Kim took us through the flower market showing us the wonderful fruits, spices and flowers that it has to offer and buying some flowers that we would later lay in the temple in the Palace which was to be our next stop. We arrived by tut tut a fun experience that you should try and cost us 100 bahts. Kim’s knowledge of the Palace and temples that we would tour later in the day was fantastic and gave a wonderful insight into Buddhism. She knew the answers to all our questions and proactively provided answers to questions we hadn’t even thought of! For lunch Kim took us to a lovely little restaurant that you probably wouldn’t find on your own where the food was great and very cheap (about 150 bahts each meal). We rounded the day off with a trip to Wat Arun and then a boat trip down the river which I highly recommend and then home by Sky Train. It was a fantastic day and our guide Kim helped us get the most out of the experience with her vast knowledge and she built our confidence on using the public transport so we could explore Bangkok further on our own. We highly recommend this tour that is built around your needs and if you’re fortunate enough to get Kim as your guide you’re in for a real treat!

I have worked with this group 2x over the past 4 months. They are a fantastic team!
Communication was clear and prompt and they are highly flexible in creating a custom itinerary. I toured Bangkok Temples with Gene back in June and more recently with Yuut for a private tour of Historic City of Ayutthaya. They were fun and informative.
Everyone is professional and highly knowledgeable. All of the potential costs are provided upfront so there are no suprises. I highly recommend that you contact Primm so that you can create your own adventure based on your interest, timetable and budget.

We had Time as our guide and if you haven’t gotten a chance to tour all the major sites of the city yet I would strongly recommend you use this company for Bangkok as it saves you so much time and money. Yes you have to pay for some of your guides travel and food costs but it’s very little total and he bought us things back on our trip anyways like flowers and drinks. He is extremely knowledgeable and we did nearly all the temples, grand palace, long boat ride, markets, ship cruise in one day. Yes we were tired by the end of the day but so worth it. Altogether you need about 4500 bath for the day so be ready. Spent on entry fees mainly and the boat ride. Picks up and drops you back to hotel. We booked last minute night before and he messaged WhatsApp within one hour to say he’d be there in the morning and asked what we’d like to see. Your is specific to your interests. Altogether delighted we spent the money 👍🏼

Apple was an amazing tour guide. Prior to our visit, we had provided a list of sites we wanted to see over the 3 days. She carefully constructed a perfect itinerary including stops we never would have found on our own, such as a bar atop a restaurant that provided wonderful nighttime views of a temple! And visit to a silk weaver’s home where she was hand looming silk!
Apple guided us through multiple modes of transportation and always had hand sanitizer at the ready as we exited. The entire journey was safe, educational, visually extraordinary and truly enjoyable with Apple’s guidance and personality!

We flew to Bangkok for just two days in February as part of of a 10 day holiday and as we were short on time we decided to hire a guide to see the cultural highlights of city. It was a very good decision and we were very lucky to get Sunny as our guide. She was friendly and engaging and an absolute expert on the city. We booked a full day tour and emailed some ideas of what we wanted to see in advance. We requested cultural highlights but also to do some fun activities for our 12 year old daughter. Sonny very much delivered the perfect day and we had a fantastic time. We travelled on public transport and Sunny made the process really easy and fun. With her expert knowledge we were able to see more in less time and we fit such a lot into our day. I loved the Grand Palace and hearing the history from Sunny and my daughter loved the canal tour to the Artists House where she got to make a bracelet and feed the fish. Sunny took care of the itinerary for the day taking our requests into account including taking us to a wonderful restaurant for lunch. This meant we didn’t have to worry about anything she just took care of it. She also knew the best spots for photos and meant none of our time was wasted. It really was the best day and Sunny really was the best guide. Fantastic experience.

We had the best day with Peach! Such a cool way to see Bangkok. Not only did we visit the traditional tourist spots (grand palace, reclining Buddha, etc.) but we also saw how locals work and live via the canal tour outside of the city. Peach was super informative and made sure to touch on both the cultural and historical relevance of each location we visited. We also went to an incredible lunch spot at which we ordered tons of delicious traditional Thai dishes.
Peach was proactive about coordinating / communicating departure times, itinerary, dress code, and currency needs.
Highly, highly recommend!

I booked this last minute due to change of plans and hoped that the outcome would be a good one. Given the ratings here I do not seem to be exclusively "lucky", but I still think I was. I had Chatree Lipipipatvong come and meet me at my hotel. I found out that he had been doing this for 40 years and honestly..I'm almost afraid of mentioning it here because anyone reading it might have higher expectations after..but, we took a taxi to a local floating market. It was early so not much activity, but still wonderful. Then got on a boat on the river. Jumped from one boat to another and visited 4 temples, fed fish in the river, was able to visit Santa Cruz, the Catholic area and it's history to the Portuguese settlers. I should mention that the river boat activities during the weekend are much more frequent, which made it possible to Jump on and off the boats efficiently and for a very cheap price. We Visited the royal palace and then took the metro back. He really gave me a huuuge history lesson to Thailand and I was so humbled by the experience. I would in fact say that what he taught me really gave me such insights that really left me with a much elevated understanding of spirituality. I am extremely humbled by this experience and cannot recommend him highly enough.

4 of us had a fabulous tour with Sunny. We started off by travelling on the ferry to Wat Arun and followed this with a long boat trip through the canals during which we saw the big Buddha. Sunny took us to a great restaurant for lunch and finally we went to see the reclining Buddha .Sunny’s knowledge and friendliness greatly enhanced our tour and we all would thoroughly recommend such a tour and if you are lucky enough to have Sunny as your guide you will not be disappointed I’m sure.

We booked this tour for 2 consecutive days in Bangkok. Elena is a wonderful guide. Her English is quite good and we began at our request by spending 2 hours discussing the history, people and culture of Thailand. Elena helped us put together 2 wonderful and complete days.
We visited the palace and temple , then a spectacular Thai historical dance show, and also rented a longboat for an hour tour of the canals with an amazing finale of the giant Buddha. On the second day we hired a driver for the day and visited the floating market I believe outside of Bangkok and had a great lunch of Pad Thai cooked on another boat in the canal. We visited another market on railroad sidings and the train came through. On the way back we visited Wat Arun, another temple.
Note that the 2 boat rides were around 1900 baht each and the driver the second day 3900 Baht. Admission to the Palace and Temple 500 Baht per person (no charge for the guide) so these charges (say around $225.00 US dollars) are in addition to the daily tour cost. We had not initially expected these costs but they were very worthwhile.
Elena has a wonderful personality and was a wonderful guide for the 2 days we spent with her.

I was only in Bangkok for 3 days. I hired a guide for 2 days. For one day, we did traditional Bangkok sites: Grand Palace, Reclining Buddha, Wat Arun, Sampeng Market, Chinatown. We traveled the river using ferries. We used the BTS. There is no way that I could have navigated this day without my guide Choochai.
On the second day, I wanted to do something more non-traditional. I wanted to see small towns outside of Bangkok. Using local train, we traveled from Bangkok to Kanchanaburi with the goal to see the Bridge over River Kwai. I had a great time. Note: this would not be for everyone. It's a 2 1/2 hour, one-way trip and the train is very basic. If you want more luxury, hire a private van. Second note: Public train costs approximately 6 US dollars for round trip. Private van is 150 US dollars. Either way, great destination.
Having Choochai as my guide took the worry out of my two days: how to navigate public transportation, shortcuts through the city, speaking/translating, providing history/local insight. Money very well spent.

Hello,
I booked a private tour guide with perfect English through Viator on Tripadvisor. Our guide had been a former monk so his expertise was with the various temples in and around Bangkok but I am sure Viator would be able to extend recommendations.
