- Denise G00Great day tour. Highly recommend!!Lin and Mr Olay were lovely. Very accommodating and listened to what we wanted. Wonderful day tour. Highly recommend!!!
- Hazwani F00A must in thailandThe tour is amazing. Our tour guide bob made sure we didnt miss any highlights of our tour. Me and family really enjoyed it. Highly recommended.
- Manon P00Great experience with good memory. The trip was very personal . It was nice to meet the local. Both driver and Lin were very friendly. It was educational and enjoyable.
- nicolem67200Excellent Experience of MarketsExcellent day out experiencing local places. Lin was our guide and she is lovely and knowledgeable and very generous. The railway ride into the market is a highlight. Thank you for a great tour
- D9790YKrobertn00AwesomeLin was punctual and communicated the day before meeting me in the morning. She is a great tour guide and enjoyed my tour very much so.
- K5667JBannem00Amazing tour! The tour company was very flexible regarding our requests. Our tour guide Pop was very knowledgeable and welcoming. She went out of her way getting us on the train ride at the railway market and finding us fireflies(we saw so many of them!). She also introduced us to a lot of delicious Thai snacks, which we couldn’t have found if by ourselves. Pop is very considerate and responsible, from reaching out a day before to say hello to dropping us off right in front of the message place we were going to next. Overall, it was an amazing tour and we had fun!
- A956JKmeganb00Great Train and floating market experience! What a wonderful trip for my son and I to the train market and floating market. Definitely an experience we will never forget. Lin was a great guide for our day and helped by taking pictures for us and sending them. I Would Definitely use this company again. I do feel like I could have added on the waterfall since we left quite early anyway. Maybe next time!
- U2887QQjohnb00Fun tour but go earliest spot availableLittle pricey for what you get. If you leave at 9 AM it will only be 3 stops, the Salt farm which is right next to railway pick up, railway market, and the floating market. Suggest you go earlier pick up/630. There were hardly any seats on the train and therefore hard to get a window view. Overall happy with the tour, even though both places very touristy, it was still fun to see. Tour guide was helpful and spoke good English.
- 586charissea00BEAT TOUR GUIDE EVER!!!Lin was an amazing tour guide. Lin had a wealth of knowledge regarding the history and culture of each activities. Lin had an amazing sense of humor and was kind and patient with my group
- seamaiden7900Thailand- AyutthayaWe just had an amazing day with our tour guide Adam and his driver Simran. We visited many temples and related historic sites before going for a late lunch and getting a boat trip to see last temple of the day. Adam was exceptionally kind and he made sure we were comfortable during the trip including bottles of iced water and snacks. Adam also gave us plenty historical facts. It was worth paying a bit more to do this trip privately. We would highly recommend this tour. Thank you again Adam & Simran
- bohdans50400A lot of fun for one dayDid a lot in one day! Of all the days in Thailand this one was definitely one of the best! Going to Erowan waterfall was the best part
- Pathfinder8224300Such fun experienceWe had the tour on 01-Sep-23. Despite booking it the last minute, the confirmation was instant. We had a lovely tour guide Pop who was always happy to assist, our bubbly driver Samran, as well as boat man Wat who brought us to the perfect spot to see and interact with the fireflies! One thing to consider, Maeklong railway market is busier in the morning. Most stalls were closed by the time we got there at half past four (last train is at 5.40). If you want to see all the action, book a morning tour. Personally, a Friday night visit to the Amphawa market is perfect because there are not as many people. It’s only open Friday to Sunday. Had some delish local food there for dinner before heading back to Bangkok. We learned that the best season for fireflies are during rainy season. We were lucky as it just rained and the trees lit up like Christmas trees that night! I have never seen that many fireflies. Lots of them came to us to say hi. Such a fun experience.
- S7120WLdanielb00Must do in ThailandGreat tour! Our guide Nok Jason was awesome and was very informative. Mr Peter was our driver and also took great care of us. The boat tour as part of the railway market was the highlight. Nok also recommended good lunch options and ready enjoyed authentic thai food. 10/10 Highly recommend !
- tanmayi000Amazing tour - must do!!Had a wonderful tour with Nok Jason (our tour guide) and Mr Peter (our driver). They showed up on time at our hotel lobby. The car / mini van was very comfortable. They took so many photos of us, they made sure we were comfortable and customized the trip as needed. The floating market and railway markets are a must do! Highly recommend this tour agency.
- russelltU6033ZB00Day tour, railway market and floating market. We had an amazing day today being guided by Lin. What a Beautiful day with Lin and Korn. We learned so much about the way of life from salt and coconut sugar/oil production to markets, different types of food and goods and some history of the area too. Lin was an expert at timing everything just right, getting us good seats on the train and making sure we got to see everything before the rush of tourists. I would highly recommend this trip and request Lin too 😁

Lin was a great guide - she was full of energy and knew everyone at both markets and the coconut farm. She pointed out the best food and shops to us and where to get the best prices, as well as explained Thai history and culture well. We added the train ride (100 baht each person) and thought it was worthwhile to go through the Railway Market. Overall a great day trip and would recommend seeing these places with Lin!

We booked this tour a bit hesitantly as we had read that many tours like this are rushed and not worth it. If you are looking for that, stop reading and find another tour. This tour is so incredibly well thought out and carefully planned - we had an incredible time with Lin. The night prior we had our pickup itinerary confirmed over WhatsApp, so no confusion. Lin picked us up bright and early with an incredible energy that made the car ride fly by. The railroad market is very crowded, and was overwhelming at times, but Lin had carefully planned it out and we got VIP seats for the train passing through. The salt field and coconut farm visits were brief. The highlight of the tour was definitely the floating market - the boat part was longer than we thought and so nice! We saw lots of local culture, in addition to the market. After the boat ride we had some free time to enjoy lunch and shopping.
All in all, this was an incredible experience that I would recommend to anyone. Truly a highlight to my trip, largely due to Lin and her positive energy.

We had a fantastic time on our trip "Floating & Railway Market, Coconut & Salt farm from BKK [Pickup +Multi-language]". First I need to say that our tour guide Pop was the best. Not only did we see and do everything on the list there were extras at no extra charge. Also if Pop is your tour guide you will not only have a guide you will have your own personal Photographer. She knows all of the best spots and will happily take photos with your phone or hers and she always wants to take just "one more photo" to make sure you get the best shots.
Our tour included pick up at a close by Hotel, comfortable Van ride with a great driver, Salt Farms, Train from Salt Farms to Train Market(not on the tour but we had time to catch the train), Photos at the Lake, Train Market and viewing of Train leaving the Market, Canal Boat Ride and Floating Market, Coconut Farm and lunch(at own expense). Then we all slept in the super comfortable Air Conditioned Van back to Bangkok. It was a great day and I took about 1,000 pics and Tons of Video. If you want to see the videos you can check them out at my YouTube Channel Kimberley Cleland Travels

Highly recommend this trip. Enjoyable trip with Lin. She's is entertaining, gives good food recommendation and knows the right spots to feed your ig account.
We were early and able to board local train to railway market instead of just visiting the railway market! (its all included in the price! ) . The station where we boarded the train is before other tour groups hence we were able to pick the premium seats.
The floating market trip brought us around where the places where the local stays before arriving at the shopping and dinner area.
Book this tour and look out for her if you don't want to miss the above!

I wished my wife and I booked our tour guide Pailin (Lin) and Korn (driver) earlier from our trip. The attention to details and the time spent was amazing. She has been doing this for 30+ years and you wouldn't even know. We have had many tour guides in the past and this is the best. She helped us mapped the rest of our Thailand trip during the tour. The locals love her and she loves them back. BTW she also function as a skilled photographer or an extension of a selfie stick. At the end of the trip she gave us the option of dropping us back at the hotel or at another destination spot close by. Who does that? Apparently, Lin does that because she is awesome. If you want to get the local experience I highly recommend.

This was an awesome tour. Our tour guide Lin was on time, informative, and patient with us. We ended up doing the tour with just us and it allowed for personal attention towards us. It started with a visit to the salt farm, where we tasted and saw salt being made. We then took the train to the Railway Market, although our tour didn't include the train ticket, she was able to purchase a ticket for us on the train for 100THB each. She was very knowledgeable and made sure we got the best seats on the train. As we approached the Railway Market, she hung out the window and took video and pics of us. We then stayed at the market for about 30 mins. We were able to see the shops pick up so the train could depart. Lin made sure we had a good spot. We made a another stop at a coconut farm. We then drove to the Floating Market, where we took a long tail boat around the floating neighborhood and then through the market. After the tail boat we were able to sample some of the foods and shop at the market.

This tour is a must! It is fun and you get to eat VERY delicious food, enjoy a scenic boat ride and one of a kind shopping experience from a boat.
Lin our tour guide messaged us the day before and showed up on time for pick up.
She gave alot of information on the way to our first stop, which is around 1.5 hours away, so time went by fast. We stopped at the coconut farm, bought very delicious snacks (recommend the coconut chips). We also took the optional train ride to the railway market, it was empty and Lin took very nice photos of us popping our heads out of the window.
Lin gave information throughout the tour and she is very friendly, approachable and always smiling. She saw we are Muslims and during the floating market experience, we stopped at a halal food restaurant and we ordered Shrimp fried rice (so delicious and fresh and generous portion, we crave it now). This was done without us asking in advance. Then we were eating and enjoying the boat ride and we also tried the coconut ice cream (recommended by Lin) which was also so delicious.
Then we went through the shops, some accept credit cards but most of them only accept cash. All were willing to haggle.
Overall, it was a fun experience and well paced so we didn't feel rushed.

Lin was fantastic. She and her driver picked us up at our hotel punctually and welcomed us with AC, water and free wifi in the shuttle van. She was very knowledgeable on all there is to see and do in Thailand. She is also very kind and will make sure you don’t get ripped off from the vendors. She even made sure we all got the best pictures and views! Having her as our tour guide was just great. I’m really happy we went on this tour.

Hello, im planning to book the private tour. It says that for the train market for private tour we can ride the train. But can we do both? Ride the train and also experience watching the train passing at the market? Because i want to ride the train and also see the train pass outside the train.
Mark and Cheryl
Bangkok, Thailand4 contributions
Yes you can do both. You arrive on the train and you stay at the amrkets till the train leaves so you can see the stalls move off the tracks and the track clear as the train moves away. Ensure your private tour has this as part of the tour. We had Pop do our tour and she did a great job ensuring we got the most out off the trip.

For the tour there are no other charges; you buy your own lunch and they drop you at the meeting point near the river when the tour is overthen you pay for transport from there to your hotel or wherever you are going next.
Great value!
