- This Phi Phi Island tour begins with pickup from your Phuket hotel for transfer to the marina. On arrival, board a speedboat destined for the Phi Phi islands. Following a scenic boat ride, stop first at Maya Bay, the filming location of Leonardo DiCaprio’s hit 2000 movie "The Beach." Then cruise to Pileh Lagoon, a natural lagoon framed by sheer cliffs. Visit Viking Cave where you can snorkel and observe nesting seabirds. Stop off at Phi Phi Leh for a buffet lunch and then spend some free time snorkeling, swimming, and exploring on Bamboo Island. Sail by Monkey Bay, to observe macaques in their natural habitat, before sailing back to Phuket where your tour concludes with drop-off at your hotel.

Phi Phi island trip with V Marine is the best decision we have taken in our Thailand tour. We started our tour at 7.45 am in the morning. Day before starting the trip they gave us a detailed infomation about what to expect in the trip, what to bring, what will be provided etc. You will be fully aware of your trip and activity before it starts. After we were shifted to Marina pier ,we were offered light breakfast . The manager Mr. Max again briefed us about the tour and the islands we will be covering along with the activities we will be doing. Our tour started at exactly the same time they have told us with a group of 19 people. The the speed boat was very and clean and comfortable. The captain Mr. Ray and his team was execellent. They took excellent care of every guests and also their minute needs. Refreshments ( fresh fruits, cakes) were being served in regular intervals. Coke and water was unlimited. For lunch they have taken us to a beautiful beach restaurant in one of the islands. The lunch is quite amazing with the view. V Marine has fulfilled every commitment they have made in the site , even more. The hospitality, the service all are top notch. They always tried to keep avoiding the crowds and kept our boat in the lesser busy area so that we can enjoy the scenary. Special mention to Mr. Leo (our photographer), we do recommend to hire a photographer with some extra bucks, because it is very difficult to take pictures with so much a activity in the water. Mr. Leo has taken many amazing pictures. Overall Phi Phi island tour with V Marine worth every penny. They have given us a wonderful experience.

The experience was amazing! We had originally booked the regular small group tour however after booking we got a message asking if we wanted a free upgrade to the sunrise morning tour- and thank god we did as the sunrise tour was amazing! I would 100% recommend doing the sunrise tour as not only do you get to experience an extra island + breakfast, but also you arrive at all the other islands before other boats etc so it's far less crowded. The trip was organized fantastically but our guide Sunny and the boat had free snacks, drinks etc. Lunch on PhiPhi was also delicious- an all round great day out!

The most amazing tour. Mr Goodies was brilliant, made us laugh, answered questions, kept us informed with timings and shared historical facts and information about each stop. I highly recommend you to book Mr Yellow as a photographer, worth the additional cost. The pictures we had underwater feeding the fish, along with natural pictures he took of us on the island are priceless. We made some friends and made them book the same tour and were equally impressed. I would travel back to Phi Phi to explore this tour all over again. Thank you for creating one of our best holiday memories.

Excellent boat tour. Highly recommend the early bird option to beat the crowds and see the areas before the sun makes it unbearable.
The company did pick up and drop off from our place in Patong. Well air conditioned vehicle, and excellent driving. Getting onto the speed boat was seamless, with only 4 other couples on the boat with us.
Agree with the reviews below that the photographer isn’t worth the money. Just ask another couple or the tour guide.
The entire day was full of fun, and the guides never let you get dehydrated - tons of water, coke, fruits, and snacks.
The scenes were picturesque! Great for a little romantic moment, and the best way to see a monkey up close!
The only negative comment was the time allocation in each area. Lots of time at the “beach” location and lunch area, but less time for the monkey island or the first snorkel location.
Otherwise - very good and fun time! Highly recommend, especially over the long boat tours.

Very satisfied with this trip during our stay in Phuket. We are a couple who traveled with another couple and decided that we wanted to use at least one of our days on a guided trip to see more of the beautiful islands outside of the coast of Phuket.
I was a bit skeptical about the trip, as it is many tourists included, but it didn't feel overcrowded. We were about 20 on each speedboat, and it was totally fine.
If you are not a good swimmer like me, they recommend using life jackets when going snorkeling or just going out in the sea in general, and that worked just fine. The surroundings where the boat stopped for us to snorkel and swim were stunning!
You will see that there are a lot of other tourist boats out there, and the locations where we stopped can be very crowded, but the way Diamond Sea has organized their customers was really good. You get a lot of good information before and during the trip, and the guides are very welcoming and open to questions.
On the boat you get unlimited with water and soft drinks, so there is no need to bring your own unless you have a specific preference.
The only thing you should be aware of is that the destinations and trip in general will have a lot of tourists. If you want something more secluded and private, this might not be the trip for you.
Overall very happy that we went on this trip, and I will 100% recommend it if you stay in Phuket!

My husband and I booked this tour based on other wonderful reviews, and are so glad we did. If you are looking around for the best tour, this one is it, your search is over. Ray, our tour guide and his crew kept us hydrated, fed us snacks continually throughout the day and the driver of the boat kept us safe on his dual 250 horsepower engines. Got us to Bamboo Island (our first stop) in a little under an hour. On board toilet, you can’t stand in it, but boy did it come in handy, with the driver slowing down any time someone had to use it. This boat was super clean and very nice. Ray explained everything to us and we always knew where we were going and what to expect. We paid for the photographers to take our picture throughout the whole day. They were FABULOUS! What a happy, patient group of guys and they had fun taking our pics, showing us the best poses and places on beaches to get the best shots. They took pics of us on the boat at all the stops with the beautiful scenery. They were such a joyous and fun crew who kept the day on schedule. The lunch at the Holiday Hotel was great! I loved the spaghetti! Restrooms and hotel pool were also enjoyed for that stop! Such an amazing day of beautiful snorkeling! We opted to pay more for the private transfer and glad we did. Our driver was prompt for our hotel pick-up. There was only 22 people on our boat. We had a great group of folks. It was perfect. Thanks, V-Marine for a memorable day to last a lifetime!! We had boat #9.

We had a great time on this day-trip tour of some of the Phi Phi islands! There were only ~25 people on our boat, which could fit up to 40, and we were definitely glad for the smaller number. Our guide, Goodie, was informative while being hilarious and I would recommend him above all others for this experience!! The crew was also great, helping everyone on and off the boat, hosing people off, keeping the boat clean, etc. There was also plenty of beverages and snacks onboard, with the snacks rotating throughout the day (bananas, a kind of coconut cake sandwich which was delicious, watermelon and pineapple, waters, Coca Cola, etc.). This was our itinerary:
o We were picked up from our hotel along with a few other groups and brought to the marina. While there, we paid final balances, had a chance to get coffee and had a brief explanation of the day.
o Then, we boarded the boat and traveled for ~1 hour to get to the first location, which was Bamboo Island/Koh Pai. Bamboo Island had amazing snorkeling and swimming, and was overall gorgeous.
o Next, we went to Ko Phi Phi Don where we had a delicious buffet lunch at a resort and then had time for some swimming, in the sea or in the resort pool.
o After lunch, we went to another location for more snorkeling, which was deeper than the first stop.
o We then went to Monkey Beach, where we saw many adorable monkeys (though definitely keep your distance & old on to your hats!).
o From there, we boated past and learned about Viking Cave on our way Pileh Bay, which had high tide so we were able to go in and swim.
o Afterwards, we went to Maya Beach, which is open for people to see but people were not allowed to get more than calf deep in the water.
o After Maya beach, we headed back to the marina.

We had a great tour of some of the amazing Phi Phi Islands. Our tour guide was Ray and his team (a total of six people). They did a great job making sure the whole group had what they needed and made the experience great.
Ray explained each of our stops very well. He gave a little history, was very clear about where we were, how long we would be there, and what time we needed to return to the boat. We were constantly offered water or soda. They also had snacks like fruit, bars, and a little coconut cake.
The initial ride there and the final ride back are pretty lengthy. Can’t remember how long the ride there was but the way back was almost one hour. I can’t complain though, the wind felt great!
The views throughout the tour speak for themselves! I still can’t decide which stop I loved the most. They’re all amazing places. We were provided snorkeling gear (new mouthpiece) - it’s such a great experience. They picked a great snorkeling spot - we got to see lots of beautiful fish. Ray encouraged us to jump off the front of the boat and I would have to agree it’s the best way to get in!
Lunch was great! Very tasty. The lunch was included but if you want an alcoholic drink you pay for it (very affordable - I don’t think we spent more than $20 on four drinks and they were amazing). They have restrooms and shower at that hotel as well. We stopped with enough time to eat and relax by the water.
When we stopped at Monkey beach, we unfortunately did not see any monkeys. I was looking forward to that part the most so I was sad. However, Ray and his team took us around to the side to see if we could see any monkeys and we did! We even got to see a mama monkey with her baby. It was definitely a hilight and I’m grateful they went around to make sure we saw monkeys.
Would definitely recommend and hope to come back one day.

The initial ride there and the final ride back are pretty lengthy. Can’t remember how long the ride there was but the way back was almost one hour. I can’t complain though, the wind felt great!
The views throughout the tour speak for themselves! I still can’t decide which stop I loved the most. They’re all amazing places. We were provided snorkeling gear (new mouthpiece) - it’s such a great experience. They picked a great snorkeling spot - we got to see lots of beautiful fish. Ray encouraged us to jump off the front of the boat and I would have to agree it’s the best way to get in!
Lunch was great! Very tasty. The lunch was included but if you want an alcoholic drink you pay for it (very affordable - I don’t think we spent more than $20 on four drinks and they were amazing). They have restrooms and shower at that hotel as well. We stopped with enough time to eat and relax by the water.
When we stopped at Monkey beach, we unfortunately did not see any monkeys. I was looking forward to that part the most so I was sad. However, Ray and his team took us around to the side to see if we could see any monkeys and we did! We even got to see a mama monkey with her baby. It was definitely a hilight and I’m grateful they went around to make sure we saw monkeys.
Would definitely recommend and hope to come back one day.

Fantastic Boat Tour, ran by tour leader Jackie.
Jackie managed the group very well and considering we had some very scenic stop offs, made sure we never felt rushed or got lost.
Phi Phi and other islands in my opinion are a must see if spending some time in Phuket and I recommend taking the boat tour with the V.Marine Tour group.

This day trip was excellent and exactly what we were wanting. Glad we booked the small tour group size (20 people max) as it allowed for a less crowded boat ride. The mix of islands and time allowed at each was perfect. We were able to snorkel at 2 of the stops and saw many colourful fish of all sizes and colours (we able to swim/get in the water at all the beaches). Variety of snacks (chocolates, sweets, fruit, water, coca cola) were provided on board throughout. The buffet lunch is very average. Ray and his team were wonderful tour guides and hosts; always so friendly, helpful and polite! They really looked after us well with making sure we had everything we need, always offering a helping had and making sure we were comfortable!
If you get seasick definitely take the anti-sickness pill before hand and sit towards the engine of the boat. It's a bumpy and fast 1hr boat ride to the first stop. Be warned, if you sit as the back near the engine you will be splashed with water during the ride. Maya Bay (from the move The Beach) is also obviously the most popular beach, so be prepared for the crowds and lines to get back onto the boat.

It just means that they have a van that goes around town and picks up people from various hotels.
At the end of the day they have about a dozen vans returning all the people. It's quite a production.
Extremely well organized, the vans and the trips as well.

What is difference between private and shared transfer option? Is it that we will share a car with other people on our way to port?
It looks like there is an option for a small group that holds max 20 people. How many are in the larger group? Is it still comfortable?

I didn’t book the smaller group option and it was absolutely fine , plenty of room on the boat , everyone has to be seated so they wouldn’t take anymore than it seats anyway. There were no more than 20 of us on our boat , hope this helps.
May I know if the trip provide the breakfast before leaving? Or should we take breakfast before being picked up

Have breakfast before you go. Snacks/fruit only (& water/tea/coffee) are available when you get there but not a breakfast meal

You just tell the guide you want the photographer to follow you around. You will get a a special wrist band so he knows to follow you and your family. No need to pre book
Do we need to pay the photographer fee per person or per group? (We are two people)

We were 2 persons and the price was same for one. Surely we were couple. So there was gopro for under water and real Canon cameras for other photos.
Does the day trip + photographer package include just the GoPro or both gopro and DSLR camera?
