My friend and I did two days of scuba diving with Vietnam Active. I am certified and my friend is not but this was totally fine as we had the option to diver together or separately. On day one we dived in Dam Bay and Madonna Rock and on day two we went to Hon Bac Island. Madonna Rock had a really cool cave to explore and there was pretty coral on Hon Bac Island. As a non certified diver, my friend had a one-two-one instructor and felt very safe and had good explanation of the equipment first. Certified divers were a ratio of 1:4. When I had an issue with my buoyancy and regulator, my instructor was very kind and helped sort it and then swam with me for the rest of the dive. On day one we had lunch on a bigger boat which was very nice and day two was provided snacks and drinks on a smaller boat. They also divided us into groups of different languages (Russian, Vietnamese. English) which was helpful. They took some super cool photos for a small price too! I get nervous before I dive, but everyone was super nice. It was a really lovely atmosphere. Would recommend diving with Vietnam Active.

The staff and facilities at this company are amazing, so friendly and helpful. The equipment is great and the food on board is lovely. I highly recommend this company in Nha Trang

We had booked a dive and a snorkel. The dive itself was very well done and planned. Everything was explained clearly as it was our first dive. They even offer a photo/video package for extra pay. The food on board was good. However, the reefs were damaged in a previous storm and there was not enough marine life. Therefore, skip the snorkel and book the dives.

It was so fun!! I learned so much and I had the best instructor ever. I can dive now and identify some other fish I didn’t know before

The diving experience🤿 was way beyond anything I could have ever expected, it is one of the best decisions I ever made when we visited Phu Quoc. Due to my girlfriend catching a cold she had to drop out, and they were very understanding of that. My diving instructor was very friendly & patient. Price wise I think that it was worth it. I took the Open Water diving certificate

Excellent days diving with a very professional team. Safety and a great days diving all in one. The team were extremely friendly and helpful. Plenty of food and drink and a great way to meet like minded people

I did my PADI Open Water Diver certification with Vietnam Active and cannot recommend them enough. Communication was really good, the transport from my accommodation to the boat and back was smooth, the food provided after the dives was great too. The best part was definitely my instructor Ty. The first two days it was just the two of us, on the final day we were joined by one more student. From the beginning Ty was very patient and explained each skill thoroughly. Throughout the course I could ask any questions I wanted and receive tips on how to improve my skills. He's a very competent diver and also a very down to earth person that made learning smooth and enjoyable. I had a great time doing the course and look forward to diving in the future!

Yesterday I went on two fun dives for certified divers in the Southern islands off Phu Quoc Island. I had a fantastic time. The team were very professional, yet friendly and helpful. The diving instructor, Thai, was a great guide and took photos of each of us during the dive, for us to keep. The reef was very healthy with a wonderful array of corals, which is hard to find these days as many of the reefs around the world are bleached and dying - not the case in Phi Quoc! I would thoroughly recommend Vietnam Active PADI dive tours! Until the next time, all the best! Tim

Did the 3 day course, instructors were really good and the food on the boats each day was some of the best we’ve had in Vietnam

We had an amazing time scuba diving. Giau was an excellent guide, he helped us feel confident whilst diving and took some great footage of us too.

I was pleasantly surprised by the positivity and professionalism of instructors. I am an active plus-size woman and I was a little self-conscious about trying diving, but my instructor Thinh helped me find my neutral buoyancy in a really positive and empowering way. I never felt judged, and he simply added more weight as needed and made sure I understood what my ideal weighting was for future dives/different thicknesses of wetsuit:) I was also flying solo and course was still great- I was often paired with instructor for skill tests. I am hooked! Great staff, great times!

More than just diving. Half day’s immersion in dive world. Super safe and professional service, good lunch and what’s the most important - Princess Leia who I can strongly recommend as an instructor.

It was a good moment with Vietnam active and I loved the boat we stayed on. Instructors and equipment are great. I was just so sad to see, in the first sport we dived, that everything is dead..

The dives were fun, we saw a lot of small sea live and corals. Thai, my instructor, was fun, friendly and helpful. Thai, Leia (another instructor) and some of the fun divers engaged in really interesting conversations about dives and fishes, they know a lot! Highly recommended!
