- mindrecorder00Ancient Tengrism is aliveIf you're the kind of person interested in ancient spirituality and shamans, don't hesitate to book. Mongolia might be the best place in the world for an experience like this. The shaman knew about my unborn son! And I certainly hadn't mentioned that beforehand. And it's not all just telling you what you want to hear - I got a lot of positive fortune, but the people on the tour with me were told some very harsh truths. By the way, photo/video is allowed these days, but never used to be - so don't hesitate to bring your camera. Great experience!
- Departure0028765875100モンゴル来たら必須!It was a great experience! We rode on a camel, took a lot of pictures, enjoyed a looooong(5-6 hours?) endless road trip to the ger with Mongolian musics that our guide Bachi selected. Talking about Bachi, he was so talented and has a various kind of experience in his life, so what he has storytelled amused us and never got bored thanks to him. The highlight is the overnight staying at a nomad fam gar. It was definitely once in a lifetime experience. Btw, if we could have also been to the hustai National park then it would be even better.
- hajinh202300Amazing and authentic experience! In a nutshell - super amazing and authentic experience. Bachi was very knowledgeable on history and culture of Mongolian - he also shared a lot about shamanism in Mongolia which was very interesting! He knows all the hidden places with crazy beautiful sceneries and he knows his way around Mongolia - if the weather isn't great in the first day, he'd be flexible and change your plan - it turned out super great in our case! It rained when we reached Semi-Gobi, so we directly headed to the next destination with a better weather, headed back to Semi-Gobi the next day with a super great weather. So enjoyed all the destinations with nice weather. I read the reviews ahead so I was prepared for the possible unhygienic situation but it was okay overall! Like, it would lose authenticity and would be weird if the nomadic family is super hygienic when it comes to burning the horse dung for the heat just for the travelers - remember they are not hotel or hostel hosts - they simply share and show their real and authentic lifestyle to the travelers. If you expect something like that, then you should go to super commercialized ones, not the authentic tour like this. I was a solo traveler so I was kinda worried about the bedroom situation esp. because my travel companions were all male, but when we go to the traveler ger camp, you can always find a ger for yourself or share it with other female travelers from other groups, so no worries at all. I stayed with the mama of the nomadic family too when we stayed the night at the nomadic family's house. Bachi tries his best to create safe environment for solo female traveler like me.
- rmac12700An experience like few othersOutstanding experience. I went mainly for the photo ops, but when the shaman started telling me things about my life that he couldn't possibly know, I started paying attention. Fascinating afternoon. And my guide, Bachi Nyanga, was first rate — smart, knowledgeable, and brimming with stories about Mongolia and the history of shamanism. Even bought his book "Spiritual Thinking: An introduction to spirituality and shamanism" on Amazon the next day.
- Hrvoje M00Amazing experience beyond expectations! The guide Bachi Nyangar was simply amazing! Extremly knowledgable about the history, sights, great English language skills. The tour was perfectly fitting to the description. Amazing sighting of a buddhist temple in the national park Terelj. The experience was just beyond our expectation! Thank you so much! Highly recommended! A+++++
- WasHereTraveling00Very traditional, overpriced. Look for other similar tours. Our tour guide and the nomad family were very nice which is the only reason it earned the extra star. Why I only gave 2 stars on this trip?… The tour guide picked us up on time from our hotel where we began our 7 hour drive. The SUV vehicle only had seatbelts for the driver, passengers had no usable seatbelts to use. The vehicle had no AC, but that’s ok, it was in the 70’s outside. We stopped at a rest stop restaurant on the way and ate some food, which had a long black hair inside, but not the fault of the tour. We didn’t stop much during the long drive, it would have been nice if the tour guide offer some sight seeing on the way like other similar trips offer. Once we made it to our destination we went for the camel ride, but it was very short. They take you about 150m through the sand dune to take photos then ride back. The primary reason for 2 stars: The Nomad family was very dirty; let me explain. They have small stoves to cook homemade noodles with beef and carrots inside, however, it’s extremely unsanitary. They burn horse poop in the stoves, but that’s ok. The problem is they use their hands to put the horse poop in the stove, then they continue cooking your meal and going on their day without ever washing hands or using hand sanitizer. There is no soap, hand sanitizer, or hot water on the entire farm. If you want hot water they need to boil it for you on the stove. They offered fermented horse milk to drink as a nice gesture, but the bowl was littered with flies inside and they don’t mind. They share dishes among us and each other without washing them (even with covid), so if anyone gets sick there is a high chance of it spreading to many tourists. This can be a major inconvenience if you test positive for covid on your return trip home. There is no toilet. There is an outhouse to poop in, but it’s the traditional kind you have to squat over. You’ll need to bring your own tp wipes. No showers or sinks to clean up, so think of this trip like camping. The beds were pretty hard, but comfortable considering they were covered in a layer wool and blankets. The wool blankets were warm at night when the fire went out which was nice. The following morning we were not offered breakfast, but instead the leftover dinner from the day before that was left out all night for the bugs to get to… On the drive home we never stopped at a horseman’s family or even seen horses other than passing by on the highway. We stopped at the same rest stop as the way there to use the bathroom then continued all the way back to the hotel. Overall the trip was more like camping and it wouldn’t have been half bad if they explained that in the description so we could properly prepare. The trip was also significantly overpriced for what was offered compared to the other trips like this one, yet the other similar trips have shower rooms, sinks to clean up, and soap etc… I recommend look elsewhere for similar trips that offer better commendations considering they are roughly the same price. This tour is very, very traditional. So if this is what you’re looking for choose this trip and bring hand sanitizer.
- patleck00DO NOT USE HIMBachi was fast to collect money. December 2019, I made a full payment for the Mongolia tour in May 2020. Under the agreement, I can have 100% refund when I cancelled before April 2020. Due to Covid, I need to cancel the tour in March and asked for refund. After numerous emails and empty promises from Bachi, 9 months have passed and U never get my money back. In addition, he is now uncontactable. While I understand that tourism could be worst hit by Covid. The least he could do is to reply me - and if he gives a date - to honour it.
- Zoominit00Excellent Zoom experience with BachiI had a "travel" experience on Zoom with Bachi. He was wonderful and I was so grateful for the experience. The only problem was Moneygram not excepting additional on-line experiences with Bachi.
- jesslhl00Have fun with the amazing tour guide, Naraa! The tour guide Naraa is super nice, like a reliable sister who takes care of everyone. and took really nice picture of us. Naraa arranged everything perfectly and can communicate in English very well. We learn so much about the relationship between the Mongolians and the camels. The tour is very flexible that you can stop by any spots you want and meet the fabulous local. I definitely will come back to her!
- William B00The statue is truly amazing, the view breathtakingI got my picture taken with a golden eagle and Mongolian steed just outside, one of the best photos I have! I actually traveled in November 2018!
- hmanmei00Amazing MongoliaWarm and excellent service, with a super talkative guide Bachi who can speak fantastic English. Learn so much about Mongolian religion, language and songs!! The saying goes “Natural never let you down” and so does Travel Mongolian. Definitely gonna come back!!
- SunmanKim00It was really one of the fantastic tour in my life~~Really cool trip! The winter Genghis Khan statue and Terelj trip with Mr. Machi was a wonderful trip. it was a day tour. Mongolia's outside of Ulaanbaatar is memorable. First of all, Mr. Bachi is really memorable and he is so funny. Second, the tour was a wonderful trip up to the turtle rock, the temple, and Genghis statue. If you are a solo traveler or couple, We think that it is good to ask Bachi. Thank you for giving me a wonderful trip. This trip was so nice and wonderful for me. Maybe I will visit Ulaanbaatar again in summer or next winter. Thanks Mr. Bachi~~~!!
- MonOnMove00An amazing, once in a lifetime experience!I planned a last minute trip to Mongolia and immediately booked this tour. I was in for a treat! My guide/driver was Nara and she was an amazing hostess. I was picked up promptly from my hotel in UB, we traveled through the countryside and had lunch, stopped at the wild horse reserve along the way, and ultimately got to our destination in the semi gobi desert. Along the way, we also saw several nomadic families migrating to different lands with all of their livestock. That was a sight to see! The nomadic host family who we stayed with is very kind. You’ll help them to make a meal to eat all together. Their camels are beautiful and the land they stay on is just stunning at any time of day. It’s an incredible experience to stay in a yurt and live that life albeit just for a night. I highly recommend this tour (and as a matter of fact, have suggested it to a few people now). You’re definitely in for a once in a lifetime experience.
- gagneets201900Best packages! It was a great experience with Travel Mongolia. The packages offered by them are interesting and price friendly. We chose the best package of 3 days tour to Central Mongolia. Although it was just 3 days, we felt that we have covered quite a decent trip. So if you have just 3 days of trip time, then this is the best deal for you. We were picked up on time, travel was always precise, stay was comfortable. Our guide was really friendly and kind. It was a trip to remember!
- tanya292900Fallen in love with Mongolia! We look the 3-day tour as a last minute decision. I can honestly say that it was a good decision. We have experienced a mini version of Mongolia, thanks to Travel Mongolia. A Lot of things done for the very first time like camel riding, spotting the horses, living in camps and gazing at the beauty around. I am in love with Mongolia due to this trip. Travel Mongolia is an excellent company for your travel plans to places around Mongolia.

The road to get to the Park is rough. However, the driver knows his way around.
It can be very hot on those roads (there is basically no tree for shade).
Be sure to take sunscreen, a hat and a lot of water with you.
With this trip, you will be able to see one of the unique Mongolian secrets, which are the last remaining wild horses in the world. I would do it again.

The manager was nice and speaks fluent English and the location of the office is quite convenient for tourist.
We went on a day tour to Hustai Park. The van was ok though, the driver's technic is good enough to conquer the worse road condition. And the driver was also nice to elderly people.
The guide must be more than 5-star level, highly recommended! Mr.Bat was super helpful and considerate and informative (also with a good sense of humor)
The Hustai park was ok itself, not very worth visiting even we really saw the horses in a really far distance ( not allow to approach due to the law) and had nothing to do since then.
The local family host lighted up the day, the food was really traditional meal and her farm was super interesting, I would rather stay in her gers for longer time lol
But if you are not really used to the food please share with others.
I would say the local family is the focus on this tour to be honest lol
Maybe we should ask them for one day working on the farm with the local family hahaha
(Can you have that tour in the future please?)
I think I will travel with them again.

Hello! We will have a group of 7 or 8 people travelling to Terelj and Hustai on July 9 and 10. I would like to know how much per person for Day Tour of Hustai National Park, and how much time the local guide will drive us around to find Przewalski horses. Thank you very much.
