    Amazing experience in Mongolia
Amazing round trip to Khuvsgul lake, white lake, a sand dune and much more. Beautiful countryside, simple and clean Ger Camps, enough time to spend alone. Excellent driver and perfect guide with huge knowledge and great English. Both very friendly and kind.

    A Wonderful Country to Visit!
We had a group of 90 people from Vietnam. (All going to Mongolia for the first time). Our personal tour guide, Ellie, was absolutely WONDERFUL!!! She’s pleasant, knowlegeable, always has a smile on her face and would go out of her way to ensure our group had a wonderful time with lots of great memories of Mongolia. Highly recommend Amicus Travel Mongolia. KUDOS to Amicus Travel Mongolia and, of-course, Ellie!!! 👌

Great short trip out of UB
The trip was well planned and we had a very good guide who spoke good english-Ellie. The trip included a visit to a theme park which was fascinating- you get to do archery, understand shaman practices and enjoyed authentic Mongolian food. Ellie was very engaging and shared the history of Genghis Khan and the buddhism religion and the temple we visited and also what is happening in Mongolia currently.

3 week private tour of Mongolia
My wife and I had planned a trip to Mongolia for many years, so we were very explicit on what we wanted to do and how we wanted to travel. We drew up a list of all the places we wanted to visit and what our requirements were. We contacted 3 companies in Mongolia to arrange a private tour of about 3 weeks. After receiving proposals from the 3 companies we chose Amicus. Amicus was the most responsive and understanding of what we wanted. We were sent a very detailed itinerary which we requested some minor modifications to - everything was done professionally and thoroughly. We had a private tour of 23 days - which is long by some standards, but we prefer a pace that is relaxing and unrushed. During the tour we had an excellent guide for the entire trip. Enkhsaikhan was an excellent choice for us. Enkhsaikhan is very knowledgeable, honest, open, sincere and caring. We enjoyed every day with her. We had 2 different drivers and both were excellent drivers. We travelled the length of Mongolia by car and were always safe and as comfortable as possible. Everything on the tour went perfectly. The places we stayed were exactly what we wanted. The sites were fantastic. I took about 2,000 photos. We have many strong memories of the beautiful sites, the people and the stories we were told by Enkhsaikhan. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

    Gobi Desert tour
This was a great experience. From being picked up by our guide and driver at the airport to the drive out to the e various sites, to the flaming cliffs, dinosaur fossils, climbing up and sliding down the sand dunes, riding camels, and walking down Eagle Valley. Our guide was knowledgeable and very helpful with all aspects of our trip.

4 days Private Tour through Mongolia
We chose Amicus Travel for our 4-day private tour through central Mongolia. The booking process with Amicus Travel was straightforward and efficient, setting a positive tone for our adventure. Upon arrival at Ulan Bator airport, we were met by our guide, Maduka, who proved to be knowledgeable and friendly throughout the trip. His English proficiency was certainly an asset, allowing us to communicate effectively. Maduka's insights into the country and the places we visited enriched our experience, and his attentive and caring nature was evident. Our accommodations during the tour were primarily yurts, providing a glimpse into the traditional nomadic lifestyle. However, it's important to note that the accommodations were quite basic. While one yurt had a better heating system, the others relied on fire for warmth, which tended to dissipate quickly. Shared bathrooms were part of the package, and though simple, they served their purpose in these remote areas. As for sustenance, the meals provided were basic as well. Considering the logistical challenges of reaching the remote destinations, the food was acceptable. It's important to manage expectations, given the limited resources available in these regions. Our driver, Gerelsukh, played a crucial role in the journey. His safe driving and familiarity with scenic routes allowed us to enjoy the landscapes and make stops for photography whenever we came across picturesque spots. This added an element of spontaneity to the journey that we appreciated.

    Excellent
We, 11 of us joined the 11 d Mongolian Trip with Amicus Travel Mongolia. I personally can not put in words, how wonderful Maggie our tour guide & Billy the tour manager are. During this trip I fell sick & had to be transferred to Ulaanbataar from Gobi dessert. Billy picked up from the airport, it was midnight & drove me to the hospital. He accompanied me untul I was admitted to the ward, and it was around 2 am. I can't thank him enough for his kindness since there was a language barrier berween the nurses, hospital staffs & I. They hardly speak English. I would recommend this tour operator, for their itineraries are amzing,

A symphony of cultural immersion, adventure, and soulful connections
This tour was a symphony of cultural immersion, adventure, and soulful connections. It encompassed the very essence of Mongolia, leaving us with cherished memories and a profound appreciation for its people and landscapes. I enjoyed the most preparing a traditional meal with a nomadic family and getting to know them better, visiting the meditation centre, sleeping in ger and horseback riding. It was easy to arrange the trip and the manager was very accommodating and helpful. Guide Ellie (Monkhtiya) was super outgoing and shared many stories and explanation about the local culture. I recommend this tour as a first step to get to know Mongolian culture. Definitely coming back to visit more places in beautiful Mongolia!!!!

    6 Day Gobi Desert Tour
Did a excellent 6 day / 5 night tour of central mongolia and the Gobi desert and found it excellent value, it hit all of the key sights in the area we travelled to, offered reasonable tourist camp "yurt" accommodation every night and an excellent guide and driver. This tour is not for the faint hearted that want a relaxing time however, 5 or 6 hours of off-road driving across the desert is quite tiring for all concerned. The gobi is definitely a 'get away from it all' experience - with most of the time no phone signal - often electricity only being available for 2 or 3 hours a day - and shared bathroom facilities with intermittent hot water. Anyway, it was well worth it - as long as you know what you are in for and want that - and Amicus travel often great value and made the arrangements very well. I highly recommend this company that can be trusted with your money and holiday plans. Make sure you understand and accept the itinerary and plan day-by-day though as there is a lot of ground to be covered.

    Unforgettable Gobi Adventure with Amicus
Me and my partner did a private 7 day tour of the Gobi Desert in Mongolia with Amicus Travel Mongolia and it was one of the most incredible and unforgettable experiences of our lives! We had never been to Mongolia before but booking with Amicus was straight forward and stress free. They offered an itinerary straight away and were fully flexible to accommodate anything we wanted to do or see. Our guide Khulan was very knowledgeable about all the places we visited (Tolyn Am, White Stupa, Khongoryn Els sand dunes and the Flaming Cliffs to name a few) plus Mongolian history and culture in general. She was helpful, friendly, and great fun too! Our driver Khangai was cheerful and looked after us very well, as well as making us laugh a lot! The Ger’s were comfortable and camps were well equipped with power and hot water at certain periods during the day. The food was really tasty as well! Anyone wanting to visit Mongolia, I couldn’t recommend Amicus highly enough! The trip was so fun and packed full of beautiful landscapes, nature and experiences. Thank you!

    Amazing Private Tour
Booked a private tour to the Genghis Khan Statue and Terelj National Park as well as a City Tour with Amicus Travel Mongolia. The tours were amazing and provided a great insight into Ulan Bator as well as its surroundings. The tours were hosted by tour guide Ellie and driver Khali who made the experience unforgettable. Both are charming, very knowledgeable and reliable. Top experience and recommendation.

Billy and Binderiya have been the most generous and best local guides ever! Very knowledgeable guides, friendly, and made sure we got the best out of our trip in Mongolia!
In addition, Billy taught us to do archery like the Mongolians and Binderiya took us horse riding in the beautiful grassland and valley.
Really great time spent in Mongolia under Amicus and our local guides care!

My friend and I enjoyed our 3days/2nights private tour with Amicus. Flexible and easy communication from the start when customizing our itinerary. Our guide, Ms. Deema, was very informative and cheerful. Our driver, Mr. Uugaa, was the best driver there could ever be in Mongolia. No matter how much time we spend in a location sightseeing, we would always arrive in the next destination on time, comfortably safe and sound.
The ger we stayed at in Hustai was very memorable as it was very close to authentic nomad dwelling setup experience. The ger we stayed at in Terelj was a modified ger for more comfort and convenience. This one had heated flooring as compared with the ger in Hustai which had the firewood heater in the center. We were also glad about the location of our camp in Terelj which was more secluded, giving the feeling of exclusivity in this touristy area. Both gers assigned to us were only a few steps to the communal bathroom and it was good because we could just walk a few seconds to reach it in the cold of the night.
We were surprised with the food that were served in both tourist camps-- full course! Complete with proper cutlery to every course. Delicious and abundant in portions, I think they could rival the food served in high end restaurants, if not better.
I recommend Amicus 100% and I would avail their services again if and when I visit Mongolia again, hopefully soon.
