Our guide for the day was Dorit. I would highly recommend this tour as Dorit was very knowledgeable about all the places we went too. She was friendly and made sure nobody got lost and that everyone got the best out of the experience. Even in late December it was warm, so no need to bring heavy jackets.
We stopped for food at a restaurant at lunch time, it was a little expensive compared to the old city $25 (60-70 ILS) The food was fish, kebab, or chicken with rice and as much salad as you like. If you are Vegetarian or Vegan they have Falafel.
It was a long day so make sure you pack some snacks and water (The driver sells water for 5 ILS) but it is floridated, so if you don't want fluoridated water bring you're own.
The only down side is that you won't have time to walk around Nazareth or have much time to look around the places, as there is a day full of places to visit, which is understandable.
Overall though it was an amazing and fun day and was a lot easier than getting public transport to the places we visited.
You will have a great time with Dorit 😇✌️

Thanks so much for sharing this detailed favorable review of your satisfaction with the tour guided by Dorit. She is certainly worthy of your; praise for her efforts and skilled tour management. Great, you mentioned it is a fully scheduled day, so not everything for everyone can be included. The lunch stop is essential for us at a location that can cater (more or less) to groups with a varied menu. Since returning after 2 years Covid lockdown !!! prices worldwide are higher.

I can not speak more highly about our experiences with Dani (our tour guide) and Jakob (our driver) during our day trip from Jerusalem to the Galilee.
Dani showed a passion for the history of the land from the Bible by providing his clients with in-depth overviews for each of the tour's sites. He provided insight from a combination of Christian, Jewish and modern day perspectives, which I personally appreciated learning about.
The tour itself included some sites that are not typically thought of as part of a Galilee tour, such as a visit Emmaus Nicopolis. The tour also provided insight into aspects of modern day Israel that are not typically discussed, such as some villages leading out from Jerusalem where Messianic Jews currently dwell (a Jewish religious tradition I had never heard of until this tour).
It was obvious that Dani truly enjoyed catering to his clients' interests, by first learning about what interested them, and then by discussing it with them to the best of his knowledge. This was the case for me, when it came time to purchasing a souvenir antique coin, where he taught me about the 'widow's mite,' and the references to it in the bible.
I also found this tour did a wonderful job of tying stories from the bible to the actual land we were visiting. Some example include when we visited Megido, which we learned is the origin of the term "Armageddon," or when we passed by the village of Mag-del, which is where Mary of Magdalen came from. I found Dani revealed these pieces of history throughout the tour, and engaged his clients professionally from start to finish through them.
Equally, Jakob the driver was incredibly hospitable and did a professional job of getting us to our destinations safely, as well as getting us back to Jerusalem on time.
I highly recommend this tour to anybody interested in gaining an in-depth understanding of the many histories that make up this holy land.

This was by far one of the most on-time tours I’ve done. From the direct pickup at our hotel (Hilton TelAviv) to our meet up location for the bus. We were lucky to get bus #14 with our tour guide (Ami). He was the best! Honestly, super dedicated to ensuring all names were on the list and counting us at each location. His passion for service shined while he professionally narrated each location during and after the visits. The day was full of events and completely coordinated. I’m taking this survey to inform others of such a wonderful experience and want to recommend them for stars across the board.

The guide was very knowledgeable but seemed not to be able to manage a large group. Every time he counted us some people were missing… Also, sometimes the feeling was that he was trying to convince us… « Israel is the best at this, is the best at that, first of the world on this, better at anyone on that » and seems that every country around are the bad guys… Also, don’t forget your money! Of course you are not forced to buy anything but after 2hrs ride we started by visiting a souvenir shop! Then for lunch we were taken around 3pm to what could be considered a school canteen. Food was alright taste wise, but it cost me 25€ per head! Definitely not what you would expect for such lunch. And of course they say you can refill as much as you want, but you only have 1h from the time you step out of the bus until you get back…
The sites visited were nice, but be prepared for a 14h tour, with a good 5/6h in a bus.

We are regretful that this was the nature of your tour experience.
Going from Jerusalem is definitely a long day!! Lunch is at a restaurant that caters for groups. We manage this accordingly and unfortunately, yours was a late stop. The spectacular locations visited deserve better ratings. The 1 hour dedicated to the lunch stop is adequate for a group.

I took this tour on Saturday January 18, 2020. Our tour guide was Hava and our van driver was David. I paid a little extra and booked the 15 passenger van version of the tour versus the large bus. I was picked up, by a large bus, at my Herzliya hotel at 7am on the dot. There were already some other folks on the bus and we stopped at another five or six hotels before being dropped off in a park area where all the individual tour vans and busses were staged. Communication was good and the tour representative made sure we all knew which bus/van number to get on once we arrived at the park.
Overall, the tour was fantastic. Our tour guide, Hava, was just wonderful. She had nice visual aids (maps) and spoke loudly and clearly in english. She introduced us to our van driver, David, who did a fantastic job at navigating the highways, small roads, and other areas we came across on our journey. Though this was not a Christian/Jewish tour per se, Hava did a great job at telling us interesting and historically/biblically accurate facts about each of the places we visited.
I prepaid for a vegetarian lunch which we had at Saint Peter's Restaurant by the Sea of Galilee around 1PM. The restaurant appears to only be there to serve the tour bus crowd. There seemed to be some confusion as to what my vegetarian lunch included. A few waiters said it was just the salad/hummus bar but Hava felt like it included a vegetarian dish as well and she pushed on the waiters to bring me something more. Eventually they came out with a pretty good lentil dish but I had already mostly filled up on the salad bar. Overall the restaurant experience was decent. It's average quality food but I had to say they did a fantastic job moving large amounts of people in and out of there and serving food quickly. After I was done eating I had plenty of time to walk around by the sea shore, grab some pictures, and put my hand in the water. Unfortunately the shore area by the restaurant had some floating trash in it so it kind of took away from the serenity of that place.
Overall, I couldn't have been more pleased. It was a long day and just about everyone fell asleep on the 75-90 minute ride back to the hotels. Given the amount of places we saw, and distance driven, it is a good value and Hava made all the difference in the experience by providing her expertise. If I had to do it all over again, I would have done exactly the same. We frequently encountered other tour busses along our stops and I'm sure they were doing a fine job but I liked the experience of the smaller van personally.

Dear Michael,
Thanks for sharing your satisfaction through a 5-star rating of the tour, itinerary, super professional driver David and most of all of our wonderful guide, Hava. She sure is worthy of your acknowledgment of her excellent guiding and tour management skills through her vast experience. She embodies the ultimate tour guide in her qualities and pleasant persona, thus making your day an unforgettable one!
Your special mention of the restaurant is very much appreciated. Indeed, the restaurant we stop at caters for large groups, and mainly tourists in the area, in a region where there are very few options throughout the week, to eat at.
The trash on the shore is pretty unusual, as it's constantly being cleaned, but you were traveling right after a storm, this might explain the situation.
We are so happy to read you have come away with a memorable tour experience to cherish and much due to the expert guidance and management by Hava. Come back again someday, we promise there is more to explore
Sincerely,
Bein Harim Tourism Services team

I would have felt like there was a part missing from my trip if I didn't go up north and see Nazareth, Jordan, and the Sea of Galilee. But the tour felt very religiously biased. I would have preferred to get the historical facts and where things are disputed I want to hear all the sides and make up my own mind. I felt like the guide was giving her own opinions as if they were fact and so I did not find this tour as informative as I would have liked. We stopped at a restaurant for lunch on the Sea of Galilee, the guide was obviously friends with the owner, which I wouldn't mind, except that there were no other food options around and the restaurant was terrible and very expensive! The pickup was also very disorganised and I had to try and make myself understood to a hotel receptionist to try and get them to phone the company to find out where they were after they were half an hour late.
The bus was air-conditioned and comfortable.

Dear Robyn
A pity that you chose SO long to wait to post this, your disatisfaction with this tour. It is most unusual to read how you review our guide. They are all so highly reviewed on this platform. Regarding the restaurant on the banks of the sea of Galilea. No she doesn't know the owner! This is the restaurant we eat at, that caters for groups. Thee are NO decent places in this region as you saw, completely rural and with kibbutz settlements all around. The menu is varied with salads and fish.. one can wonder off to eat elsewhere on a group tour. Not sure what you were expecting.
Wierd regarding pickup as unless you were at a hotel where we dont collect, this may have been the problem. We can be delayed. Pickup is not an exact science ! Especially in Jerusalem However hard we try daily to collect all our travellers from their exact locations.
We are sure when tourism will resume some time, as we are present fully locked down, we will continue to provide services of the highest standard, as is shown on the thousands of reviews on this platform.

Day well spent by paying visit to some biblical Holy sites in Galilee region today 3/05/2022 starting with the city of Nazareth, we visited the Church of Annunciation built on top of virgin Mary's house where the Angel Gabriel met with Her. Next was St.Joseph church built on top of Joseph's carpentry workshop. We passed through Cana of Galilee town, on our way to sea of Galilee and Capernaum. We visited the Church of Multiplication built in the place where the Lord Jesus fed 5000 multitudes with five loaves of breads and two fish. Afterwards we visited town of Capernaum where Jesus spent most of his time along the sea of Galilee, and where he commissioned St. Peter as head of the church, and finally we ended our day trip at River Jordan.
