Highlights
Three religions walking tour of Old City Jerusalem
See religious sites inside the city walls and beyond
Learn the ancient stories behind Jerusalem’s holy places
Great introduction to the Old City’s main landmarks
What to expect
Meet a guide in the Old City and set out on foot toward Temple Mount, where the Dome of the Rock marks the place where the Prophet Mohammed is believed to have ascended to heaven. Learn how the site is sacred in Judaism from stories of the First Temple to Abraham’s sacrifice. Take in another beautiful Islamic monument—the Al-Aqsa Mosque— then continue to the Western Wall, an important pilgrimage site for Jews. In the Christian Quarter, follow the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, retracing the route that Jesus is believed to have walked on the way to the crucifixion site. Outside the ancient walls, head to Mt. Zion, the 12-century Hall of the Last Supper, and the Tomb of King David, before finishing the tour in the heart of Jerusalem’s Old City.

My guide(Originally Philipino,I am not 100 % sure.)a lady said while briefing about muslim history few things which are not correct.Quran was revealed to Ptophet Muhammad over a period of more than 22 years. She said Quran came after Prophet,s death.Holy Prophet would depute any one from his companions to memorize and note down the received revelations.Whole Quran was revealed before his death and was written and memorized by heart by hundreds of his companions.Quran was compiled in book shape by 3rd Khalif Usman. If she said that it was compiled as book after the death of Holy Prophet Muhammad,I would say she was right. It is always good to keep silent rather than saying something which is not reality. My suggestion is not complain but polite and friendly.Thanks.Badar Azir,Tulsa,Oklahoma,USA.

So much to see, you need a guide!
Mar 2020
We made our way via bus and light rail from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, where we met our guide Renan. Sandeman's really does a good job with finding energetic and interesting guides, each one finds a way to make ancient history feel relevant today.

Renan kept us moving at a steady pace, in order to see all the sites. Access to Temple Mount is extremely limited, and dress code is strictly enforced. A little disappointed not to get to see inside Al Aqsa Mosque, but the Dome of the Rock is extraordinarily beautiful, and so peaceful to be up there virtually alone.

Just walking through the alleyways and streets of the old city is enough, but Renan helped put it all into context. There's lots of walking and steps, so bring your water and your sturdy shoes. Definitely recommend this tour!

Great first view into Jerusalem Old City
Mar 2020
I highly recommend this tour! Usually I go for the free walking tours (I'm a cheap traveller lol) but I figured that wouldn't quite cover everything that there is to see in the Old City of Jerusalem. And I totally didn't regret my choice!
Granted, this tour lasts 4 hours in theory, but actually it includes a lunch break of ~1 hour. However, walking non stop for 4 hours would be too much anyway. The lunch costs extra 50 NIS for all-you-can-eat hummus, falafels, salads, bread, etc. and a drink is included. You can also do lunch on your own if you choose but I'd really recommend not skipping this lunch because the food was delicious!!
My tour guide was Paul and I was honestly a big fan! He was really knowledgeable in all the history and all the differences and similarities between all three religions; he didn't jump from one topic to another but rather kept to his own flow of the story, meanwhile still managing to answer all the questions that we were asking. I personally loved the fact that he speaks both Hebrew and Arabic, it kinda made me feel like he's really unbiased by any political or religious views, even if he has any, you wouldn't be able to tell.
If you're looking for a way to get all the main historical sites and facts in just a few hours, or simply want to get that first glimpse into Jerusalem to then continue exploring on your own - this tour is the perfect choice!

Highly recommended
Dror was an excellent guide. Very dynamic and entertaining. He had a good knowledge of the history and how it affected present day life and kept the tour moving at a good and exciting pace. The tour covered all the basics, the restaurant chosen for lunch was brilliant and the whole tour was professionally run and fun to be on. I learned a lot and really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend this tour as a must for anyone visiting Jerusalem.

Feb 2020
Our Guide Anat was very knowledgeable about the three religions and how important Jerusalem was to each of them. The tour took us around the whole walled city and each of its four quarters. It was over four hours with a break for lunch and well worth €35.
