Overview
Discover Jerusalem’s Jewish, Islamic, and Christian sites on a walking tour that explores the city’s rich religious heritage, from the Dome of the Rock and Temple Mount to the Via Dolorosa. Get a fascinating perspective on thousands of years of history, spirituality, and conflict by experiencing Jerusalem through all three of the city’s major religions.
What to Expect
Meet a guide in the Old City and set out on foot toward Temple Mount, where the Dome of the Rock marks the place where the Prophet Mohammed is believed to have ascended to heaven. Learn how the site is sacred in Judaism from stories of the First Temple to Abraham’s sacrifice.

Take in two other beautiful Islamic monuments—the Dome of the Chain and Al-Aqsa Mosque. Then, continue to the Western Wall, an important pilgrimage site for Jews.

In the Christian Quarter, follow the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, retracing the route that Jesus is believed to have walked on the way to the crucifixion site. Outside the ancient walls, head to Mt. Zion, the 12-century Hall of the Last Supper, and the Tomb of King David, before finishing the tour in the heart of Jerusalem’s Old City.

Our tour guide was Anna, she was very informative and had answers to our questions. This tour is a great way to walk through the ancient city and decide where you want to see more afterwards. Highly recommended. Eyal
