Everything about this tour and service was top notch from the beginning. Arranging and communicating the pick up went well and our tour guide Jacob was very good. From the beginning Jacob began explaining not only the sites but what its like in Israel (challenges and opportunities) and this helped fill the time between site.
Once we were at the sites, Jacob provided an overview of what we were going to do and discussed safety and back up plans.
Seeing the sites was amazing and Jacob knew the details of all of them and answered all our questions.
He has been doing this long enough to know how to get the entire group access to the sites and even worked to get us some access to areas that were closing.
Overall if you are looking to see these sites in a day this is a perfect trip to take. Its a long day, lots of walking but well worth it. The time between the sites allows for plenty of resting and recovery until you get to the next site.

I had the privilege to do this tour with Travel Israel and it was just amazing. The guide, Allan Younger was very experienced and had a lot of knowledge which made the experience much exciting and worthy.

I have made different tours with different operators and I can guaranteed that I was better assisted by Travel Israel staff, both the guides and the management , which I had the privilege to meet, were very professional and welcoming.

NB: Please pick the Jerusalem tour that start as early as possible, because you will be able to visit the placed with almost no visitors specially in low season.

We are sorry to hear you felt it was not a positive experience. Please note that the tour does not include the Al Aqsa Mosque. Due to very limited visiting hours, and very long queues we do not bring tour groups to this site. It was not included in your confirmation or itinerary, we are sorry if you thought you would see it. We are also sorry to hear there were delays in Jerusalem, but again due to high number if tourists and locals in the Old City, sometimes it can take slightly longer to visit these important sites. We are sorry to hear it was not as expected.

We booked a private tour for our trip to Tel Aviv in May. Because of the Covid 19 we had to cancel in March and ask for a refund. Since March I send at least 10 emails about the refund. Kind answers that the refund will come. But now it’s August and still no money back!!!!!
We still love to visit Tel Aviv but I will book our private tour with a different agent.

Dear Customer, Thanks for sharing your experience with us. We understand that this is very frustrating and appreciate you reaching out. As you are aware of, the world is going through difficult times, and the entire travel industry is working hard to assist our valued customers during this stressful period. Our team is no exception, and we have refunded 80% of our refund requests. Unfortunately, delays are occurring but in no way indicate a scam or unwilling to refund. We sincerely apologize for the delay and hope to be able to welcome you in the future!

We were supposed to be picked up at 7:30, nobody came, nobody picked up the phone. Then some bus came and despite the driver not knowing if we should be on his bus (he told us only viator tour was there), we got on the bus. He told us he was just a driver and had no information. Finally we moved round 8:30.
He drove us to the Dead sea straight away, where we stayed for 2 hours.
After that the driver drove us back to Jerusalem where we waited 30mins for a tour giude. The tour guide was ok, he tried to tell us and show us a lot.
After visiting the Western wall, he took us to a restaurant. We were offered 2 sandwiches with drink for the price of 35 and 45shakel. After paying we all noticed that on the menu, it only costed 15 and 25 shakel, drink 8. When we asked tour guide, he went inside but wasnt really able to explain the difference of about 12 shakel per person to our satisfaction. Most people on the tour were really annoyed.
After a guided tour of Jerusalem we continued to Bethlehem, where we had to wait for a new guide. When the guide came, he told us that we would only see the church of nativity, but it was supposed to be closed due to renovation for next 30 minutes, so we could either wait on the street or stay at a souvenir shop he chose. Most people on the bus said they dont want to go souvenir shopping, but he asked us over and over again, so we agreed. We arrived at the shop , with much higher prices compared to jerusalem old city and nobody from the tour bought a single thing, we were all just standing there and waiting 30 minutes to pass. After about 15 mins, they realised that we were really not buying those souvenirs, so the giude told us that we have to go very fast, because they just opened the church but we have 5 minutes. So we hurried up, only to arrive to the church which was full of people and a mass was just ending. The church was not at all closed before. We could only see the church for about 10 mins and the guide told us that we have to leave because the tour was over. Everybody was angry and complained on the bus.
We never went to Jericho and didnt go to see the river Jordan, as we booked and payed for.
We are very unsatisfied and upset about the whole situation. It was definitely the worst trip we have ever taken.
We waited for several hours combined, were cheated on, ripped off and lied to or not given any information.
During our trip in Isreal, we took 2 other tours with different companies, which were amazing, but this one was just terrible.

The pick up area had multiple tour buses without any customer list to verify if you were on the correct bus. My friend and I changed buses twice because the name of the tour was not correct and unfortunately stayed with the wrong bus. No one was able to help us. The tour did not stay on schedule, they took us to souvenir shops, lunch and other destinations that were not included in the tour fee.

We are very sorry to hear you did not enjoy the tour experience. Please note that the centralized pickup location is for multiple tours, so there can be multiple drivers/buses at the same pickup location. All the drivers have lists with the passengers and check to ensure that they have the correct passengers. We are sorry to hear there was a mix up although this is extremely rare. If you are able to travel another day again we would be happy to have you join us again for the correct tour. We will contact you directly.

The true highlights of a short trip to Isreal. Jerusalem walking tour was very interesting capped by the visit to the West Wall. Bethlem is in the Palestine section and the Dead Sea was hot!

Organized! Great English-speaking tour-guide! The group tour started with Exploring (on-foot) the Old City of Jerusalem - visited the Great Gates, the Orthodox church, the Holy Wall, the Holy Sepulchre and some of the Stations of the Cross in the market. Tour-guide gave us time to take pictures at the Holy Sepulchre church and took us to Jesus' first tomb, which is located inside the church. Then, the group rode on an airconditioned bus to Betlehem. There we met another great tour-guide who took us to the Church of Nativity. The tour-guide was knowledgeable with cool stories. The group went to a restaurant after that - food was a local delicacy (about CAD$7) and it was delicious - vegetarian choice available. Then, tour ended at the Dead Sea where the group spent 1.5hour floating at the Dead Sea. The beach has restaurants, souvenir shops, beer&smoothie bar, Sunbath chairs, chairs and tents, and Public washrooms with changing area. The tour from Tourist Israel was easy to book on-line, cheap and organized! Highly recommended!

We booked day tour with Tourist Israel and they were amazing on time and our Tour guide Jud was excellent and he provided us lots of information about old city Jerusalem and he was very punctual and friendly we were a team of 10 people and all of them very friendly. The old city is magnificent 4000 years of history and I enjoyed every bit of it. I highly recommend this tour package and we stayed at Eldan Hotel a very descent hotel in Jerusalem city center.

Very satisfied with todays trip done by Tourist Israel. We started out with a guided tour of Old Town. The guide, Moshe Frank, was borh informativ and funny. He had a lot of stories to tell besides history itself. We continued to Bethelehem and the birthplace of Jesus, Church of the Nativity. Here Isaiah was en excellent guide. We ended up at the Dead sea, mud and salt and everything.

The tour is nice but it should have had room for lunch at the Old City (30 minutes), given room for strolling around Bethlehem after te church (1 hour) and given room for 2 hours at the Dead Sea so the it was possible to both take a bath, a shower and relax at one of the restaurants after.
