One of the best tours to hit all the top spots in one day. The guide and driver was excellent although the bus had a sound problem where everything the guide said sounded like a Charlie Brown episode. Enthusiastic guide and willingly shared trivia and information. Bus was comfortable and onboard wifi worked even in the desert. They provided plentiful beverages and honestly could not have asked for a better way to spend an off-day as I would have been exhausted trying to get to each place on my own.
I had the entire day tour and we stopped halfday to pick up the afternoon tour pax. The added pax for the afternoon suddenly made the tour feel rushed to get all the activities in for the day. There was also just a very short break for lunch at the Souk meeting spot, so a sit down meal was rushed and you basically either had time to shop or to eat. not both. The tour itself was a wonderful tour.
There are SO many "best" places to see. I enjoyed the Fort and the history and the free time to casually explore for a few minutes on my own. The perspective of BC history overlooking AD modern cities is fascinating. The views are spectacular.
My favorite place was the National Museum. Enough time to see a few exhibits on the tour, but I would personally return for a more indepth look at all the exhibits and rooms. There wasnt time on the tour to really read or explore, but definitely worth a visit on its own.
Con: I had a ticket pricing issue as mid tour after beginning to get to know the other pax discovered that we were the only two single travelers but we were charged different rates for the same full day tour. After I contacted the booking agent and presented the ticket with different rate, and several back and forth emails with zero resolution or explanation why two single travelers would be charged differently, I gave up the conversation. So LOVE the tour and seeing everything Dislike the ticket pricing which charged me $129 USD for a single person but way less to another single traveler. Complaining didnt help. I visit Manama several times per year and while I would recommend the tour, caution to check the pricing before purchase.

As I wrote in the headline, Ultimate Bahrain is a tremendously good value and you get to see a good deal all in one day. Our guide was terrific and enthusiastic and willing to share her knowledge about both the sites we saw and about Bahraini culture, food, and more. The driver was great, the seating comfortable, the wifi and waters plentiful. We really appreciated the pick up and drop off. We couldn't have done anything as close to an amazing tour day on our own, even if we had our own car. This is a super service and I would hire them again, to be sure.

Although I'm giving 5 stars, I see from another review that we're not the only ones that felt uncomfortably crunched for time during lunch. Since we were only given 30 or 40 minutes to eat, I would ask that the tour guides recommend places to eat whereby you can quickly get in and get out. While we did make it to the tour van on time, we only accomplished this by rushing our server, rushing through eating, rushing the server for the check, and rushing the equivalent of three blocks back to the van. Therefore, I suggest that if you hire Ultimate Bahrain Tour, make sure you *ask* for a lunch recommendation at the location where you are dropped off for lunch so that you won't find yourself in the same situation as we and others did. Regardless, I stand by my five star review.

Hope this helps!

This is honestly one of the best tours I've ever done for several reasons. First, the locations that we went to were all diverse--people with a variety of interests would enjoy this tour. Every location was so different from the next but also was representative of Bahrain culture.

Next, the information that the tour guides gave was really interesting. For a tour with this many stops, there just isn't enough time to see every tiny detail at each stop, but the guide did an excellent job of telling me all of the important cultural and historical facts I needed to fully enjoy each location.

Finally, the tour guides themselves were such fun to be around! I was with Helicia and Toqeer and they obviously enjoy their jobs very much. They communicated well with each other, the people who work with the locations we stopped at, and also the people on the tour as well. They were both funny and thoughtful throughout the whole day. The two of them really made this tour shine for me! I cannot recommend this tour enough!

The guide was brilliant. She was very knowledgeable and explained things very clearly. The morning part of the tour was interesting and the best part was when the guide explained the different exhibits in the museum. The other places we visited in the morning tour were ok but they were things that I had seen the day before and are very easy to see on your own.

The guide did her best to make the afternoon tour interesting but there is only so much you can do. The first oil well and the tree of life are interesting but you don’t need much time to see them.

However, what was very disappointing was none of the people on the tour had been told when we booked it that we would not be going to BIC - the Bahrain Formula One circuit. That was what we were all looking forward to most. Had I known we would not be going there, I would have only have done the morning tour.

Great way to get a taste of this beautiful country! The guide was very informative. We received an unexpected history lesson about all of the places we went to as well as info about places and the country on the way to the next destination. Great day!

I had a great full-day tour of Bahrain and highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Bahrain.
My tour started at 9am, and I was picked up at my hotel right on time.
My tour guide Katrina welcomed me on board the Air Conditioned mini-van, which was very clean and new. She showed me the cooler box full of ice-cold drinks and gave me the WiFi password. I was given a brief of the plan for the day and what we would do and see.
There are 11 Stops. The first stop was the Al-Fateh Mosque. My guide Katrina showed me inside and introduced me to my Mosque guide who explained about the mosque and Islam. It was very interested and the Mosque was beautiful inside.
The next stop was the National Museum. Katrina gave a very detailed walk through of the museum and explained everything with great knowledge and passion.
After the museum we drove around the old town and tried some traditional sweets and walked around a little before continuing to the Souq. Here I was on my own to do some shopping and eat a traditional and delicious lunch at Hajis. (Cash only)
With a full stomach we continued to the Bahrain Fort and then the Camel Farm where I had the chance to feed a camel.
We then continued to the F1 International Circuit where you can get a feel for the place without the crowds and buy souvenirs at the gift shop.
From here we made a quick stop at the 1st Oil Well while continuing thought the oil fields to the Tree of Life.
After a few photos here it was on to the last stop at A’Ali Pottery to see how traditional pottery is made and have a chance to buy locally produced pottery.
While driving back you also have the chance to see the Burial Mounds from the vehicle.
I must say this was one of the most enjoyable tours I have ever been on. The guide Katrina was amazing. She spoke great English, was very passionate about Bahrain, the culture and the people, she explained everything and answered every question I could think of.
The driver was also great and drove us safely and comfortably.

This really was one of the best tours I’ve ever been on! We were guided by the fantastic Ludmilla, who was very knowledgeable and friendly and took plenty of time to talk us through the history and culture of the country. The tour went all around the most famous sites in Bahrain - I thought it would be a lot to cover in the 9 hours but the timings at each of the sites was just right. Great value for money too, the sites are pretty remote so arranging your own transport would be difficult. Overall I would highly recommend this tour to get a flavour for Bahrain!

If you want to see all that Bahrain has to offer then this is a great day trip. Booked this trip with my family for a Friday, as that was my only day off. The down side is that the itinerary changes slightly as you can’t go inside the mosque, the plus side is that the roads are very quiet.

I enjoyed the old fort & the stop at the formula 1 track, whilst my daughter just wanted to get up close to camels.

The driver & transport were first class with plenty of soft drinks & Wi-Fi on-board. The guide was also very good.
Free hotel pick-up & drop off also helps.
Overall a great experience.

Thank you for your positive review. We love to hear our guests enjoying this special full day tour that shows so much of Bahrain in so little time. We know it's hard to keep the kids entertained for almost 9 hours but the stop at the camels does help. Next time we'll take you to the Mosque which is absolutely breathtaking - as long as it's not a Friday, so to allow our friendly and wonderful locals to have their Friday prayer in peace. Thank you once again & see you soon!

I wanted to take this tour, as I had a day-long layover in the small kingdom, and I wanted to see as much as possible. The itinerary did not disappoint! I saw both UNESCO-listed sites in the country, was exposed to the unique history connected to ancient Sumer in Mesopotamia, and saw every significant tourist destination on the two main islands. I loved it all. With this tour, travelers are able to see everything, but with only brief exposure to the dangerous heat of the Persian Gulf Region. The air conditioned minivan was the perfect vehicle. I must also praise my driver Toqeer and my tour director Katrina. They were both so professional and kind. Toqeer was the most responsible of drivers and Katrina was knowledgeable and a super conversationalist. I cannot recommend them or this tour enough!

Toqeer & Katerina send their warmest regards! Thank you for your wonderful and detailed review. Means a lot. We hope to see you in Bahrain soon again, and maybe a bit more than a day layover so you see more of what the Pearl of Arabia has to offer.
