Gamarjoba tours are amazing! We did 6 of their day tours with them in a week exploring Georgia and we saw all the main sights and learnt so much about this beautiful country. They are extremely professional and helped to organise an itinerary that worked perfectly for the time we had.
Zura, our customer coordinator was brilliant and was always available to help if we had any questions or needed any assistance. All our trips started exactly on time and he even helped us make reservations for the best places to eat in Tblisi.
The guides are all enthusiastic, very knowledgeable and speak excellent English (special thanks to our guide Magda who’s walking tour of Tblisi was especially excellent). On the day trips the vehicles used are really comfortable and the drivers are very professional (special thanks to driver Niko baba who always found the best and fastest route around any traffic jams).
Overall we highly recommend Gamarjoba tours and would definitely use them again! Thank you so much for making out trip to Georgia so wonderful!

First of all, I would like to start with the office meeting. When you get there to check in you straightaway feel the warmth from the staff. They welcome you with a bug smile even it’s early morning. You can have your bottled water and hot beverages available over there. After meeting our excellent tour operator Metro and picture session, we started our tour. I recommend you not to have any pastry or breakfast in the morning because within 45 minutes when your tour starts, you will have an amazing fresh Georgian bread and goat/cow cheese and your first semi sweet red wine. Then you will continue to have beautiful scenery. Joining the traditional lunch called Supra is a must. Only 45 GEL (must be cash don’t know why though 🧐) and you will enjoy many Georgian dishes and unlimited wine. Throughout the day Metro answered all our questions. His English is very good and he is very knowledgable about his country. We had two other locations to taste wines. Trust me if you are a wine drinker, this tour is perfect for you. And yes you will have a smiley 🤪 face at the end of the tour.

The entire Kakheti wine tour experience was fun and interesting. Our guide Giorgi Giuna elevated the entire experience for us and he was one of the best tour guides we've ever had. He kept explaining interesting facts about Georgia throughout the trip and was lively in his interactions. We never felt bored at any moment. Even when we were tired during our return journey, the music played by him in the van had an amazing vibe to it.

The Khareba winery was the highlight of our trip. We were amazed at how cool the cellar was compared to the hot summer weather outside. We also enjoyed the fantastic lunch arranged for us, we paid extra for it but the experience of sitting with the entire tour group and to dine was worth it. We met some lovely people in the group which we wouldn't have met, had we done this by ourselves. So overall I would definitely recommend this tour especially if your tour guide is going to be Giorgi Giuna.

From the beginning the tour guide “Giuna” explained the plan as we were on the way to one of the most amazing experiences ever and i can guarantee you that any tour with this guide will be unforgettable and i highly recommend him, we started at 9am and it took us approximately two hours to reach our first stop, it was a farm and there you’ll have traditional bread with fresh organic tomatoes and three different types of cheese, and of course wine, the place is a farm with mostly grape trees planted for a huge area. You can walk around the tree and harvest fresh grapes and taste them too.
After that we have been to many other locations and even factories to witness the origins and the traditional way of how Georgian used to make wine and until now they are maintaining their heritage. In every stop we tasted different kinds of the best wines as Georgia is known for having the best wine globally.
The wine tasting is included in the package and if you want to grab yourself a bottle, the prices are very affordable, you won’t believe that this high quality product will be in this price. Further more we visited a beautiful church and Giuna gave us the history behind it and other interesting information. Then we went for lunch on an amazing scenery from the top of the mountain. Then we went to a wine storage place carved inside the mountain and its a huge tunnel with wine stored on both sides as you walk and we tasted wine there as well. The tour guid Giuna was very knowledgeable as he is originally from the town we visited and deliver the information in a fun way and makes the tour more interesting. In general we enjoyed to the max with big smiles on their faces.
It was great meeting new people and cultures and i highly recommend any tour, as log as it’s with Gamarjoba Georgia team.

Peace and love ♥️

Gamarjorba Georgia Tour agency, hands down, is one of best to deal with in Tbilisi and even Georgia for that matter. From the professionalism to their helpful attitude, the staff are consistently checking in on you to make sure you’re comfortable. And that too whilst managing a crazy amount of bookings every day!

I did a Kakheti Wine tour with a group and our tour guide, Beka, was an absolute gem. The guy is a pool of knowledge so be prepared to listen to some amazing facts, anecdotes and history from him.

The tour started off at sharp 9am. The meeting point itself is a brilliant safe space - everyone is super friendly so you don’t really feel like you’re going with strangers. The transport was immaculate, comfortable 17 seater van with no issues whatsoever ever. Whilst I’m writing this, temperatures in Tbilisi and surrounding areas was upto 41 degrees Celsius so it was insanely hot. The car was always air-conditioned and the driver was amazing i.e., always on time to pick us up where he dropped us off.

Our first stop was St. Nino’s monastery that was a must do. The views from here are beyond compare. Stayed here for a good 30 mins and then aquick drive down and we reached Signaghi aka the city of love where we walked around for a bit and then made our way to the restaurant where, I kid you not, we had the freshest food and the best wine. The table was already laid out when we walked in and this is all because of coordination from the tour agency, Beka and the restaurant management. Basically we didn’t have to wait for food and what we had been sold (a great lunch for a bit extra), we got and I’m glad we opted for it.

We then made our way to the first winery inside a mountainside which was spectacular. Had a fairly quick tasting there and then moved onto the next winery where we had the majority of our tastings. The history in these places is beyond compare and Beka/the winery guides were brimming with knowledge so it was a really informative tour. I don’t think there was anyone in our group who didn’t end up buying wine from the winery so you can well imagine how amazing it was.

I’m writing this on the way back so we’re about 30 mins from Tbilisi and it’s 8.49pm. Be prepared to spend a fun 12 hours with the best wine, amazing food and the best tour guide. And if you’re having second thoughts on booking this tour or any other tour with Gamarjoba Georgia Tours, do yourself a favour and don’t over think it. These guys are truly the best of the best.

Attaching a few pictures as a glimpse what is to come, unless otherwise changed.

Really well organised trip to the khaketi wine region. Excellent joining instructions and travel was undertaken in a Mercedes mini van, with good seats and air con. Thé lunch was amazing with fantastic views of the region. This great fantastic value for money and the guide and his colleagues were really knowledgeable and passionate about wine! Highly recommend this tour.

I really had a fun time today. Everything was great. From the people at the Tour office, first off TAMUNA is such a very lovely lady. I really appreciated her very sweet gesture of remembering a very small detail of me mentioning this tour as my birthday treat to myself and she has me this cute little cake and a candle to blow and they sang to me a happy birthday. It was really warm and sweet and it also just shows how they care and pay attention to their guests. The entirety of the tour was awesome. Its lean season and it was a rainy day but we still had so much fun. I can't imagine how much more it would be if the sun is out & the land is dry. The tour as they say was usually for larger group but since its not peak season, we're only 7 people in total & all of them are very nice and friendly especially Rosa & John. But none of this will be this good if it wasn't for our very informative and compassionate tour guide, SHOTI! You know for a fact when someone takes tour guiding just for the job or when someone's really very passionate about what he's doing. It comes naturally in him. He enjoyed teaching us & we definitely enjoyed learning from him. He's just a man of toasts & stories and we loved every second of it.

Honestly, for the price that you paid, you're gonna get so much more from the treatment & extended service they have. I am definitely gonna come back for another tour package with them. Hopefully with my family next time! CHACHA! <3

My third tour with this company and it was the best yet (though all were fantastic). Well arranged itinerary that included food tasting, churches, a city tour as well as of course the wine tasting.
Guana was a great guide who made the experience all the more enjoyable with his positive energy and knowledge of Kharketi and wine.

The tour lasts around 12 hours but somehow the tour guide we had, George Guina, kept us entertained and informed the whole time and I didn't even feel the time pass.

You get to see some pretty beautiful sceneries, especially around the Sighnari and St Nino churches. Snow-covered Caucasus range far away overlooking ancient city walls. Since we went during winter, we had the whole city of Sighnari almost all to ourselves.

The tours of the wineries were entertaining, all the guides there were friendly, and the food was better than what I had in Tbilisi.

Both our driver Maho and our guide George were really fantastic and I would argue some of the best tour guides/drivers I've seen in the countries I've visited.

I highly recommend this tour.

Small tips:
1- Their HQ is near the "Avlabara metro station". You can get there by ordering a taxi pretty cheaply (I used Bolt and it was less than 5 lari).
2- The tour says to meet at that station but when I got there there wasn't anyone with an orange sign. Their actual office is a two minute walk away. Facing the metro station, you can walk towards "hotel du vin rouge" which is on the left side, and I believe they are at the end of the alley on the first left after that.

Hey, Thank you so much for such a detailed and wonderful review! I do appreciate your time and effort to write us all these kind words! Thank you for mentioning our wonderful guide Giuna! Glad to know that you enjoyed your time in our stunning wine region Kakheti! It is definitely a must see place! Thank you for sharing your tips on how to get to our meeting point! I am sure it is really helpful for other travelers. Our guide comes to the metro with an orange flag exactly at 08:30 AM. And he/she will guide the process )) Hope to see you in future! Take care!

It's the third time we are taking the Kakheti wine tour and it never fails to amaze us. We visited 2 great Wineries with wine tasting (5 glasses 🤩) and the experience was different and amazing at both places, don't ask me to choose as I loved both the places. Our guide Zura was so good, the history of kakheti and wine making just unfolded before our eyes. He was so helpful, he even gave us tips where to visit, dine and party in Tbilisi. We had a blast, time just flew and we didn't want the day to end.

Special mention that the communication from gamarjoba side was always spotless, they were so prompt and accommodating even though we changed our dates. On multiple occasions we went to kazbegi, Mt Skheta, Borjomi, Chiatura, Kutaisi, Prometheus Cave etc thru Gamarjoba and our wanderlust was always rewarded❤️
