This tour was one of the highlights of our 10 day trip to Georgia which covered Tbilisi, Kakheti, Gudauri & Batumi. Our guide Ani and driver George were the nicest people we met who took us around all the exotic spots of Kakheti.

Tasting wine all day from Industrial giants to local wineries to home made wines really gave us the all inclusive experience we were looking for. The final destination at a restaurant in the city of Signagi was the highlight of the day where we pretty much over stayed till the restaurant closed down from about 5 pm to 11 pm. The views were just absolutely beautiful and we weren't yet ready to say goodbye to amazing company like Ani and Giorgi (our driver for the tour).

They could have ended the tour earlier as their job was to only take us around as mentioned in the itenerary but they willingly stayed with us for the rest of the night and finally took us back to our hotel close to midnight in a car ride filled with energy, music, singing & laughter.

All in all I would highly recommend them for this wine tour day filled with amazing wine, sites to see & great company. Special shout out to Ani and George for making it such a a memorable trip!

Daviti was a phenomenal guide, so much so that we decided to spend a second day with him and his wife. He was incredibly nice to us the entire time, giving us some history on Georgian winemaking and explaining every time of the wine making process to us. We even got to experience the grape harvesting by squishing the grapes with our feet! By far the best part of our day was the incredible meal with his family at the end where we learned how to make khankali and had some great natural wine. We would highly recommend you book a trip with Daviti, he is the epitome of Georgian generosity!

This is hands down one of the best tours we’ve had!

We started the day with an incredible wine tasting of more than 10 different local wines, followed by a light lunch (including making our own bread) of local cheese and veggies. Then we visited some of the most beautiful places in Georgia, discovered even more hidden gems and even flew over Signagi in a zip line.

The trip ended with the most authentic dinner in Daviti’s (our tour guide) home, where we tried home made delicious Georgian food, his own house wine and met his neighbors.

Daviti is a great guide and an even greater person. He knows pretty much all the facts and history of Georgia and makes sure everyone enjoys the tour all the time.

This tour is 100% recommended for anyone looking to have the most authentic and complete tour of the wine country of Georgia.

We had an amazing experience and day trip which took in the Kakheti wine region and it’s surrounding area.

Picked up by our fab host and guide, Daviti, we were treated to a tasting tour of a local winery (Patardzeuli Winery) before stopping off for a light lunch of some gorgeous cheeses and fresh vegetables, washed down with cha-cha and a lesson in Georgian bread baking.

Next, we took in the natural beauty and stunning views of the countryside, which included a trip to St. Nino's Convent and exploring the wonders of Signagi - The city of love; located on a steep hill, we found a town that overlooks the scenic Alazani Valley, framed by the majesty of the Caucasus Mountains.

Our day ended back at Daviti’s rustic home, where we were treated to a gorgeous summer barbecue of the most amazing meats and home-made wines in the company of new found friends. We even had the opportunity to sew our own grape crops in the gardens so it's a great excuse to return in the future at some point to taste the yield!

Daviti is a perfect host and guide, knowledgeable and friendly, he most definitely made this trip what it was and the whole tour couldn't be recommended highly enough.

Gaumarjos: a toast to Daviti, a wonderful day, a wonderful tour and an authentic slice of Georgian life.

A decent van tour through the wine countryside about 1.5-2 hours from Tbilisi. There is a mix between wine tasting and other activities such as breadmaking and walking tour of historic walled city of Signagi (aka "love city"). The highlight is the afternoon visit and traditional lunch at the homestead winery of guide / host, Daviti. He is very personable and inspired to talk about the love of Georgian wine. Be prepared for epic 12-hour day along the Georgian roadways.

The driver was friendly and very easy to like. However he was a driver, not a guide. And his level of English was very basic.

Normally the tour should have been done on Monday. This was the day I have booked and for the day I received a confirmation. But 1,5hrs (!!!) before the tour would start on monday, I got an whatsapp with the message we had the choice: or we pay more for if we want the tour on monday, or we do the tour another day. So this is already very shifty. We chose to do the tour on Tuesday.
When reading the tour description again now, I have the feeling that some parts of the tour we had are different than in the description.

I’m utterly disappointed in the tour. I had high expections because of all positive reviews, however what has been promised is not fulfilled.
And you cannot cancel a tour 1,5hr before it starts.

Thank you so much for your feedback ! After carefully checking your TA account, I Finally understand that It’s not quiet easy to fulfill everyone’s expectations, So I can’t take it too personal. Things can happen, And thanks to you we’ve got less chance to make less mistakes, First of all, we will try our best to improve quality and standards of our experiences (Which based on our reviews was always on a good level), Secondly you’ve ruined our rankings, which is quite sad because less people can enjoy Authentic experiences in Our region. I would love to share more details in here, because we managed to host a Private tour to Kakheti region instead of a group tour for you, and Levani Did his best, which later we discussed it in WhatsApp, But any kind of arguments it would be just a justification, So everyone joins our experiences will get the point of this comment. So Thank you so much again for booking our experiences !

I apologize for the late review - thought I left this already! Daviti's tour was absolutely incredible and one that my husband and I will remember forever. the wine experience was a portion of a larger tour for us and we loved every minute. felt like we got the local experience and learned a LOT about wine culture. highly recommend! harvesting and squishing grapes and enjoying the supra will be one of our favorite experiences always. Couldn't have asked for a better host and guide for this tour.

We turned up with a promise of an air-conditioned bus with snacks welcome drink and wifi. In fact we had a old rented mini van with no snacks or water. We were brought to a garage to buy our own snacks. This was a very disappointing start. The guide was friendly and personable and tried hard to make the trip interesting. We went to a winery which was ok and was then offered an upgraded winery experience for 30gel extra each. This was actually a very nice place and worth the money. We then stopped at a bread place where we got a chance to make mother's bread in a traditional oven, which was fun. We then drove to beautiful monastery over signali and then into the city of love. We then had all opted for the optional 50 gel Supra. This was an hour and a half drive but was actually very nice. A lovely family run place with loads of great food and wine. The owners were super nice. Then it was 2.5 hours drive back to Tbilisi getting back at 10pm. All in all it was good but could have been more wine orientated and the items promised should have been provided.

Daviti was the most amazing tour guide. We were able to learn and do so much with him. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable about the country, he made our experience unforgettable. He taught us Georgian customs, about the country itself and so many things about wine. We had absolutely the best time with him. He has shown and taught us more about authentic Georgian culture than I thought I could learn in my short trip here. He was the most hospitable and friendly tour guide I have ever had. If you like wine and good people, this is definitely the tour for you. I cannot recommend it enough. The next time I am in Georgia, I am definitely booking this again. 10/10 would recommend.

The tour was fantastic, and the guide and experience were even better. Everything was fantastic, from the hotel pickup to the ride and the places/local vineyards we visited. Daviti is an excellent host, and as there were just four of us, he arranged everything with us so that we could participate in the activities we desired. I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in learning about how locals make wine and how they enjoy it:)
