There are tons of providers operating variations on this exact tour, as these are highlights for Nairobi! I was really satisfied with my choice of tour operator - this is important, because every location is packed with other tourists and their tour guides! You need someone who is assertive, confident and knows what they are doing. That was our guide, Stephen. A bit cheeky, he knows how to get prime position for the elephants, take the perfect photos of you with the giraffes, and is happy to stroll through the Bomas telling you about his tribe. He will changeup the order of things where needed to maximise use of time (eg we ordered lunch THEN went to the Bead Factory while it was being cooked). There was no stop I didn't enjoy on the tour and I felt safe and comfortable at all times. I was a solo traveller and there was just one other couple on the tour.

Hey, My name is Saniya from Pune, India. I had booked from vsnapu when I was on a solo trip to Kenya. I was suggested vsnapu from my best friend who had booked from them very recently and loved it. The photographers are very good at heart and also suggest you various poses. The pictures, when they were mailed to me were just impressive and I couldn't stop looking at them. A very great experience indeed!

I had a private tour with Stephen. It was such a full day and I was pleased with all of the stops on the tour. I was picked up on time from my airport, and Stephen made sure to offer me water and a place to charge my phone. Stephen was a great tour guide and shared many fun facts about the country. I completed the tour alone, so at each of the stops Stephen helped to me to capture pictures and videos to remember my time. And they came out great! Lunch was delicious and there were opportunities to pick up souvenirs.

This was a great tour overall. I would recommend this for anyone visiting Nairobi!

To begin with I thought this would be a nice way to start my time in Kenya. Everything went well with my guide until he started talking about how he was expecting me to tip him at the end. Immediately I felt pressured and uncomfortable. Then he took me to a souvenir shop praising how amazing the place was. When I walked to the store the shop keeper was trying to hustle me everything and lied to me several times when we negotiated prices. He tried to sell me a wooden statue for $850. I told him I’d take it for $300, then he said the difference in price was only $100!! Then I asked the tour guide to come over and he tried to get me to buy other items in the store. Clearly collaborating with the shop keeper and making commission off all the tourists that came in the store. When we left the store I felt really uncomfortable. I knew this guide was sketchy and untrustworthy. We then arrived at Bomas and had dinner before the show. We both ordered food and ate together. To my surprise the guide had me pay for his meal without even asking me or thanking me. I was in such disbelief I almost assumed this was supposed to happen. When I arrived at the hotel he asked me to tip him. I then called the agency and told them what happened. They were very defensive of him and told me to give him the benefit of the doubt. I would not recommend this company to anybody!

Thanks Etienne for giving us chance to serve you. According to my chat with you, your tour was okay. Kindly please next time stop pretending to be nice to guides by inviting them for Lunch and after tour tipping them then report to the office that you were forced to buy them lunch and give them tips.

I thoroughly enjoyed the tour with Stephen. I was the only one on the tour but he made sure that he told me every little detail from the Giraffe centre, elephant orphanage, kazuri beads factory and then at bomas of kenya! I also like how there was time in between each site to rest. He was also a really great personal photographer (if you're like me and by yourself, you're in good hands). I enjoyed every single moment. Thank you!

What made this tour so incredible was our guide Kelvin. He was well versed in local wildlife and history. This trip wouldn’t be the same without this incredible guide! We wound up booking him for the next day on a tour to Ambosoli National Park. Thank you Kelvin!

If you want a true Nairobi experience, you MUST have Patrick as your driver. His wonderful personality and genuine kindness was a warm welcome for me as a solo traveler. He picked me up on time, greeted me with a broad smile, and laughed his way into my spirit! He was so knowledgeable about the destinations and offered pleasant and insightful conversation during our journey.

First were the giraffes, then the elephants and then Kazuri Beads. These destinations were educational and very inspiring. The giraffes were soo cute and very hungry for the pellets. Patrick assuaged my fears of the giraffe kiss and even recorded me getting some sugar from the delightful animals. The elephant orphanage was inspiring as well. The Kazuri Beads was perhaps the most moving as the organization hires mostly women to handcraft the work.

Last but not least were the Bomas of Kenya and they were AMAZING! They had so many children's groups there and to be able to celebrate culture among the local people was fantastic! The dancing, the acrobats, the traditional dress-- I cannot say enough to go on this tour with Patrick. He and I laughed the entire time and his gentle and jovial nature made me feel so at ease. When we were done with the second day (see my review of the shopping trip), I was really sad to part ways.

Truly and amazing experience.

We were in Nairobi for a day basically on our way home from a safari and decided to spend our time on this tour. We were picked up from our hotel by Paul who would be our friendly and knowledgeable guide for the day. All the places we went to during the day were well worth seeing. It is hard to choose which is best but probably the Elephant Orphanage which is doing such good work and was a fun place to visit too. Having said that the Kazuri beads, Giraffe Centre and Bomas were well worth it as well.
