Overview
This tour will take you to a local market and then out in the town of Cusco at night. We will meet up at your hotel and take you first for a tour of a local non-touristic market and then for a Pisco sour, the most typical cocktail of Peru. Then we will be transported to the Cusco Planetarium, located 15 minutes above the city. Here we will hear about how the Incas viewed the constellations and then we will get to go outside to look through the telescopes and stargaze. After the planetarium, we will return to Cusco and go out to a restaurant frequented by locals for the most popular dish of Peru: Pollo a la brasa, or blackened rotisserie chicken, which is eaten with salad and french fries and will have the most typical drink of Peru, Inca kola. We will finish the tour by walking around the Plaza de Armas (the main square) which is lit up beautifully at night and look at the statue of the emperor Pachacutec and learn about the history of the Incas in Cusco.

NOTICE:
-Bring warm clothes.
Highlights
  • Curated sampling of evening activities in Cusco led by a guide
  • See the Historic Center at night and listen to historical commentary

What to Expect
Begin your late-day tour with a stroll to the San Pedro Market, a hidden gem where the locals shop. Learn about the variety of native fruits and vegetables, taste some, and get a peek at traditional medicinal herb offerings. Head over to the main square to have a pisco sour (the national drink) and learn about Peru's pisco production. The next stop is the planetarium, where you'll listen to a presentation from astronomers about the night sky in Peru. Get a chance to check out the Southern Hemisphere's constellations through the planetarium's powerful telescopes. Wind up your evening tour of Cusco with a traditional Peruvian dinner and a walking tour of the historical center to see the city landmarks lit up dramatically for the night. If you find yourself indecisive or overwhelmed on what to do on your evenings in Cusco, this tour is for you.

My boyfriend booked this tour after he saw that we could go to the Planetarium in Cusco and learn about how the Inca read the night sky. We were thoroughly impressed and thought this tour was one of the best experiences we had in Cusco. Valentin, our tour guide and the founder

Hello ! Thank you very much for this comment ! it makes me feel so happy reading your comment, always trying my best to go out of my way to make you feel unforgettable and unique experiences. We think this tour is so original since you visit our central market where we use to go for shopping and nowadays is very touristic. Taste our pollo a la brasa, cusquenian people love this dish and we use to go only in special days and the planetarium which even to me teach me so much. Once again thank you to choose us for your journey in Cusco. Much hugs. Vale
