The Crossover Peru team led by Edwind was amazing! I was blown away by their attention to detail, professionalism, energy, positive attitude and effort. They did whatever they could to make the experience more enjoyable for my friends and I. The food on the trail was delicious. They prioritized my safety and fun. Edwind made sure the journey was educational and he set really great expectations for the length of our journey and difficulty of the hike. He never left anyone behind and made sure we knew we had his full support the entire time. These porters and guides do a fantastic job and I would absolutely recommend them to future Inca trail travelers!

CrossoverPeru is an incredible company. I did the 4 day hike of the Inca trail to Machu Picchu and I couldn’t imagine a better team to have lead the journey. We had Juan Carlos as our guide and Herbert as chef. I’ll start with Herbert, his smile is contagious and his work in the (tent) kitchen is the most impressive thing I’ve seen. He makes the most authentic and delicious dishes throughout the hike and nobody could ever go hungry.

Juan Carlos by far made this adventure the best experience. He is very knowledgeable on the history of and terrain of the Inca trail and he is always entertaining on the delivery of the information. Hiking the 4 day trek is not an easy task, but Juan Carlos gave us the encouragement and tips that we needed to pull through.

I HIGHLY recommend this group.

Our trip leader, Edwind, and all the porters made my Inca Trail experience so amazing. I am still in utter shock and awe about the time I had. Edwind really went above and beyond for my group and really cared about each and every one of us. You can tell how passionate he is about the Andes, the Incas, and the outdoors. The porters really worked so hard to make our experience so phenomenal as well. The food was absolutely amazing. Trip of a lifetime! I will remember this for the rest of my life.

This trip was amazing! It was a 5 star four day trek in the beautiful Andes mountains. The Crossover team will take care of you like your at a 5 star resort. All your meals have multiple courses with amazing fresh food. The chef even made a cake on night... on the mountain! Not only were the Porters and the chef amazing we had the best guid on the mountain. As someone that has done longer treks a few times I can't tell you how important a guide is and Juan Carlos of crossover peru is the best guide in the region. His knowledge of the history, flowers, and mountain were beyond all expectations. I recommend crossover Peru to anyone that wants to have the best trek to MachuPicchu and learn along the way (Make sure to ask for Juan Carlos!!!). Wish I could give more than 5 stars!!

Highly, highly recommend this company for your Inca Trail trip. They were the hardest working people I have ever met. Our chef, Herbet, was perhaps the most talented person I have met as the phone on the trail was insanely good. The porters are kind and professional and Mario, the porter that was our “ waiter” was very funny and kind. Overall, the best experience!!!

Once in a lifetime trek to beautiful Machu Picchu + other Inca sites! Our tour guide Eddie and porters/chef were amazing! Everything went flawlessly, our tents of excellent quality, food amazing, and everyone made sure we were happy and well taken care of the whole trip. This is not an easy hike but definitely worth it especially when you have an excellent team like Eddie, Cirilo, Mario, and Juan. Don’t miss it!

Wow! The trail is wonderful, the potters job is hard and they are the once clapping for you! (It should be the other way round), the chef is amazing! The best food in a camp like eating in a luxury restaurant. The guide Yaritza was so sweet and helpful. TOP 🤗

Hiking the Inca Trail is a daunting undertaking. Many people may be apprehensive about embarking on this experience due to the physical demands and unknowns of the tour group you choose. I never thought I could have such an incredibly comfortable camping and hiking experience prior to completing the Inca Trail with CrossoverPeru. Our porters were incredibly friendly and welcoming and at the end of this experience I felt as though I was part of their family. Aaron, the lead porter, always ensured our camping sites were ready for us by the time we got there. Each morning we were awoken to a cup of hot coca tea, which is a necessity when not acclimated to hiking at these altitudes. They even packed up for us in the morning while we were eating breakfast to prepare for the day of hiking. Dennis, our cook, was nothing short of the Gordon Ramsay of the Inca Trail. Every meal we had was INCREDIBLE, I felt as though I was eating a gourmet meal at our camping sites. Crossover Peru's team of porters made this hike more enjoyable than I could have previously imagined. I respect these individuals so much, as they endure extreme physical demands with a positive attitude while still motivating you as you traverse these lands. I could write a complete essay with the compliments I have for CrossoverPeru, but rather than this, I suggest you contact them, sign up for the trail, and experience this amazing experience first hand so you can meet and learn from these incredible individuals yourself. Beyond this, our trail guide, Juan Carlos, is one of the nicest and knowledgable persons I have ever met. He continually motivates you to allow for the realization that you can complete this trail, even when facing these physical demands. Juan Carlos educated us on the history and significance of every ruin we visited and left me with a feeling of inspiration for these amazing people. Work is stressful for all of us, my advice is to take on this challenge with these amazing people so you may feel as refreshed as I do now to continue to face down the challenges that life presents to us.

I highly recommend CrossOverPeru for the 4-Day Inca Trail to Machu Picchu! Our guide, Kevin, was very knowledgeable about both Incan history and was very enthusiastic (and very funny) in teaching us. He has hiked the Inca trail many times, and was able to give us detailed briefings about what to expect each day of the trail and even carried helped to carry some people’s daypacks when they were struggling on the second day of the hike.

Our chef, Carmelo, cooked us the most delicious and artfully prepared multi-course meals. We started with homemade soups and appetizers, delicious Peruvian and American main courses, and ending with dessert. We ate better than anyone else on the trail (and better than we did at any other time on our trip!).

Our porters who carried our overnight bags and set up our tents were very hardworking and friendly. They made sure that our every need was satisfied—from boiling and purifying water for us to drink, to collecting our trash at the end of the day, and to cheering for us when we hiked into camp at the end of the day!

This company made the Inca trial hike the trip of a lifetime. On such a taxing hike, the little things make all the difference, and the porters and guides delivered at every opportunity!! The porters were amazing, carrying huge packs each day, but making sure the camp was all ready for us when we got there. And we ate better on the trail than we do at home thanks to the cook, Carmelo. Every meal had multi courses and everything was delicious! They even were able to whip up an impromptu birthday cake on the trial when they found out it was someone’s birthday. Would 100% recommend if you’re going to do the Inca trail!
