Overview
Discover Zagreb old and new, and see many of the city’s main attractions, when you sign on for this half-day bike tour of the Croatian capital. Meet your guide in central Zagreb, and grab your bikes and helmets before heading off on your trip around town. Tackle the hills to reach Zagreb’s historical Upper Town, see the neoclassical splendor of its Lower Town, and bike to the city’s most modern districts, too. As you go, learn more about the city and its landmarks from your guide.
What to Expect
Meeting spot for all our tours is in central Zagreb, starting point of your lovely adventure. From here, we will venture through the Lower Town and Upper Town of Zagreb, visiting our national Theater, Parliament and Government house, discovering Zagreb's green horseshoe, learning why we have a "big bang" every day at noon, what's so bloody about Bloody Bridge and who is stoned at the Stone Gate. Heading to New Zagreb will bring us to entirely different scenery, so you'll see how Zagreb evolved through centuries and how Zagreb citizens lifestyle changed over decades. We make frequent stops, and can stop wherever and for however long you want. You'll also get tips about the best shopping areas and restaurants, and finally, what's most important in Zagreb - the best places for coffee, beer or "rakija" (brandy). Doing a city tour with us is like meeting a good friend in Zagreb who wants to show you around.

Alida showed us a great tour of Zagreb, through the narrow lanes of the ancient city to the bike trails of newer neighborhoods. We got excellent commentary on the history both political and social. We had a great group of rides who asked many questions...More

Zagreb in a day...

In a number of other cities we have opted for a bike tour to firstly orientate but also get some history as well as the pulse of the nation through chatting with the guide. Our man Bruno was well up to the task, covered some...More
