See a side of Split that many visitors miss when you embark on a rock-climbing excursion. Set off from the city center with just a small group for company; it’s a short drive to Marjan Hill, a popular climbing area that offers more than 80 different routes. Participants of various backgrounds and skill levels are catered to, and all essential climbing gear is provided. As you go, admire centuries-old churches and other local landmarks, and enjoy views overlooking the cerulean-hued Adriatic Sea.
What to Expect
With over 400 bolted rock climbing routes in Split area climbers of all ages and experience can take part in rock climbing adventure created for everyone who wants to have the thrill of climbing rocks.
Start your tour with the pick up in the city centre meeting point from where after a short drive you will reach Marjan Hill.
Marjan is situated on the peninsula in the middle of Split with the beautiful limestone cliffs and more than 80 routes on the climbing area with the stunning view of the surrounding islands. Special touch to the tour is the opportunity to climb around churches and hermit settlements dated back to the 15th century.
The beginner climbers will be watched by licensed and experienced guides to gain first hand knowledge of the climbing techniques. They will get the climbing gear and be safe at every step while climbing. The routes are between 10 and 25 m height with the difficulty level from 4c to 7a. More experienced climbers will get the chance to improve their level of climbing and create great memories while climbing among beautiful green Marjan forest. The photos from the tour will be a long lasting memory of great spent day in Split. Your guide will support you and cheer you during the tour, but also share their local knowledge about Split and Croatia and places to see and visit.

Great fun

Just coming from rock climbing with my 9yo. What a great fun it was. Very professional service. They even especially went to the shop to buy right size shoes for my boy. Will defo come back if around!!!
