We had a super fun morning cycling tour with Komang around the ubud area and the tegallalang rice terraces. We went in a group of 6 people with two guides, which was perfect to get to know each other and have fun riding. He took us through some low traffic but good condition roads to get us comfortable with the electric bikes, and then through some narrow rice field pathways to really use the bikes. The bikes where great to handle, and if one had a technical difficulty (my chain came of 2 times) the guides where really great at fixing it asap.
Komang stopped a few times to get a small rest and explain us all things about the rice fields, and how the whole farming process is done.
Even though we had a short but heavy rainfall while going, they where well prepared and had rain ponchos ready for everyone right away.
The lunch at the end of the tour was really really good and included in the whole package!
I really enjoyed the tour and recommend it for anyone who wants to be a bit active around ubud, see a lot of stuff and have a good time.

Super great!
Booked this last minute and they were very responsive and helpful in coordinating a custom tour for us (we didn't have much time so did an abbreviated tour).
These guys have it dialed in. Multiple guides, well coordinated with someone stopping traffic, moving things along, taking pics, etc. One of our bikes broke and a buggy was there to swap it out within seconds.
Some beautiful sites and a great way to see Ubud. Highly recommend!

This activity was enjoyed by all the family. In fact, we all really loved it! The booking logistics were simple, the staff very professional, and the equipment great. We loved touring through the wonderfully scenic Ubud hinterland, and learning about the culture from such personable and humorous guides - Awan and Gusti - the whole experience was first class and great value. Riding the e bikes was fun and made the hills easy, and you can choose to pedal it if you want too. The stops were all interesting and pleasant, and we finished with a tasty meal in a beautiful restaurant. Definitely a highlight - you wont regret booking the tour!

I highly recommend this tour. Everyone was very professional with prompt replies to booking and all communication I had with the company. The tour was a great mixture of seeing and hearing about aspects of the culture. I am not in the best of shape but found the e-bike to be very manageable. There was pedaling but the electric option really comes in handy. Gina and the other tour guides were very helpful and knowledgable. I appreciated their focus on safety during the short times we were on busy roads. Overall, this tour was a great value!

Still coming off the high of being out and about trying something new this morning!! Thanks Gusti and team for supporting this new cyclist in exploring another side of Ubud.
I have so many good things to say about my experience, but this review goes out specifically to cycling newbies.
Firstly, you will be very well supported. We were a group of 9, but split up into two groups, each with a leader and a supporter who stayed at the back or redirected traffic for us plus take some awesome photos. It's ok if you're not so confident.
There were some tough parts but you always have the option of pushing your bike or getting a ride with the van that follows us.
Also be prepared to cycle on the main road but again well supported in small groups by our guides. You will have plenty of time to stop and rest. Plus you can try the bike and see if it fits before the tour starts, I was never pressured to go on the tour if I didn't feel confident.
And lastly, I loved that our ticket price supported so many small businesses, from the coffee plantation to the I love Bali swing cafe to the taxis that offered hotel pick up and drop off's and beautiful lunch to end our tour.
Thanks Gusti for all of your help this morning plus the diverse stories, from genetically modified rice to local cremations. Well done ebike tours for showing Bali guests another richer side to this beautiful island!!

The day was so well organised with pickup and drop-off after a lovely lunch. The bikes had plenty of power for the entire trip and made the pedaling almost unnecessary. There was a support vehicle following the entire time with a backup bike. The scenery was beautiful, our guides Betul and Ajus made the day for us, explaining what we were seeing, answering our questions and making our day fun. It was so peaceful riding along and it was the best activity we did in Bali.

Ebikes are a great option for a tour that spends the first half going uphill - lot of fun being able to flick a lever and speed up a hill. Our guide Awan was great - gave us good info on rice fields and temple life in Balinese villages. Option to visit a Balinese house or coffee plantation - we took the coffee option so we could try Luwak coffee. Easy downhill roll back to compound and then nice included lunch. We really enjoyed this tour.

General:
Fun trip riding around Ubud and the rice terraces. The guides were friendly and shared interesting information about Balinese culture at the various resting points. The trip included a stop for coffee and tea tasting at a pretty rice terrace cafe. The tour drives a golf cart behind the group with an extra bike or for the option to stop riding at any time.
Bikes:
Bikes were in excellent condition yet this is more of a leisure cruise than actual biking. The gears don’t really match the power capacity of the electric bikes so you are more or less using the power component without the ability to peddle much.
Difficulty:
Riding on the side roads is easy and smooth, the roads are in good repair. At one point they take a short path through a rice terrace. The field/dirt path is in terrible condition after lack of use and maintenance during COVID and I would strongly recommend taking the option to walk your bike through that portion of the tour.

Wonderful experience led by well organised, fun and knowledgeable guides. Who provide a great insight into traditional Indonesian lifestyle as well as new modern day lifestyle in Ubud. We would highly recommend this tour as it provides a multitude of fun cultural experiences intermixed with the beauty of rice field cycling.
You also get the choice to go to a coffee plantation or a local village, we decided to go for the coffee plantation. You get to see the Luwak and try several different coffees and teas included in your price :)

We booked this for a family of 5 all teenagers. The guides were helpful in finding a bike for us all and showing us how to use the electronics. The bikes do go fast if you put them on motorised so it takes a bit of getting used to but we got the hang of it quickly. It started to drizzle so our guides gave us rain jackets while we it rained and then took them off us when it stopped.
The guides were very informative and told us a lot about Bali. We stopped at a high school and where they make the statues for funerals. It was very interesting. They catered to the teenagers and took them to all the Insta places so they could get shots. They took heaps of photos of us and sent them to us online which is all part of the package.
The riding was easy and they had a little car following us at the start so if you decided it wasn’t for you you could probably get off and go back with them.
It finished with a nice lunch. The guides could were very helpful. I loved this day the most out of my whole trip to Bali.

We actually spent 2 hours at the Ubud art markets after the bike tour, before returning to our villa.

They only pick up from Ubud but we were staying in Seminyak and they were happy to arrange transfers for us at a cost of IDR 300k. Quite a reasonable price. Traffic is so bad that you will have to allow at least a hour to get there but worth it.
