A fanastic experience of all Ipoh has to offer

We experienced a sensational private tour of the greater Ipoh area covering delicious local eats, history, temples, caves, the famous Concubine lane, Ipoh city and of course Kellie's Castle - in a dedicated comfortable vehicle with hotel pick up and drop off.

Our guide knew Ipoh inside out and personally guided us at each location stopping to explain interesting facts and observations that we would have otherwise missed.

Jaie was was passionate about ensuring we had a fantastic time and worked at our pace. We highly recommend this tour!

Best city tour of Ipoh
Fantastic tour with knowledgeable and flexible guide. We hit all of the Ipoh highlights with perfect timing to skip huge crowds (school holiday week).

My guide, Jim, added in several stops for local street food and fresh fruit tasting at request. We also had a great discussion about history, politics, and our two countries peoples.

When I asked about repairing a torn seam in a leather bag, we were straight off to a local craftsman who repaired it for me on the spot.

Jim was friendly, helpful, gave me many tips and helped me navigate Malay shops and pricing better.

We went all over Ipoh, well outside itinerary. Very enjoyable. Well worth it. I'm doing another tour with them!

Oh, and they'll do a custom tour for you. Just ask. We've got one to Taiping tomorrow. Snacking street food stops definitely included on my tour. What do you want on yours?

Excellent tour and guide

Ipoh is a lovely and interesting city, but it needs an organised tour to properly appreciate it. We picked this tour based on positive reviews and it did not disappoint. Jai met us at our hotel in a very comfortable vehicle and drove us around all the major points of interest, which included some strenuous walking. At an unhurried pace over a very full day, including a nice lunch stop, he explained everything we were seeing before finally dropping us back at our hotel. Jai was committed to giving us an enjoyable day by understanding what we were looking for and nothing was too much trouble for him. Good value and highly recommended.

Private tour of the Ipoh area. Tour guide, Baskaran, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. A native of Ipoh with in-depth knowledge he was very happy to accommodate our priorities and tailor the tour to our interests. Pickup and return was from / to the hotel, slightly out of town, and we were driven around the main sights. Highlights were the breathtaking cave temples, and the story behind Kellie's Castle. Great tour with a guide for whom nothing was too much trouble.

Highly Enjoyable and Interesting Tour around Ipoh City
Excellent experience on our Ipoh City day tour and very well looked after by Jim who was very attentive and knowledgeable. All of the attractions on the itinerary were worthwhile and interesting however we particularly enjoyed Kellie’s Castle and the fascinating but sad story behind it and the 2 amazing cave temples that we visited.

Best tour ever! 100% recommended!
Visit Ipoh and book Jai tour is one of the BEST decision we made during this family trip.
Jai picked up us at Penang by himself and talked lots about food, history along the way. It was so pleased to hear lots of information from him. Even he told us some about Penang as well.
Once arrived at Ipoh, he treated us little breakfast. It was very generous welcome from him, not only breakfast... he was always offering anything to make sure we were happy, comfort and enjoy the whole tour. He never rushed, we felt like the tour was customised specially for us. Absolutely love that.
For example, he offer to take us to the Hakka museum once he knew my husband Hakka ancestry. It was not in tour itinerary, he always think what the best for us every time during our tour.
In every place we visited, he always accompanied us and told the history about the place. It means lots to us as in one day, we gathered lots information about Ipoh. He even guide us to Gua Tempurung by himself. My daughter loves to hear Jai's story, until now she always request another day tour :)
We can't thank Jai enough for this great and awesome tour. Surely we recommended to all who will come to Ipoh. Hurry book the tour!

Booked the ipoh city tour online the evening before we would've liked to go. Jai responded within 30 mins. Next day he picked us up from the hotel and had we an awesome day! Jay knows a lot about the city, it's history and a lot of fun facts. Jay is a very nice guy and very good guide. Would definately recommend!
