I feel very fortunate to have found Jai online when searching for a private tour guide. I arranged two consecutive days of touring with him around Ipoh and a transfer to Penang. Firstly, it was very easy to communicate with Jai via WhatsApp. He arrived promptly for our tours and was very friendly and accommodating. He has an amazing knowledge of the area and went above and beyond to give us the very best tour possible, picking up on what interested us the most and giving us authentic experiences that we hadn’t anticipated, making unforgettable memories for myself and my cousin. I would highly recommend Jai, if you are looking for a tour guide and would definitely use him again, if we were to return to Malaysia.

We had a great time on our day tour of Ipoh. Thanks to our guide Thiru Jai Ganesh who planned the itenarary very well. We were treated to excellent information on every visit. Fun! It was very nice to see the castle ruin with a unique story and the amazingly huge cavern, plus hillside cave temples with amazing sacred images, and a forward-thinking agarwood plantation. It was a very memorable day, and the driver and guide was very careful and polite.

The story behind the castle and the history of the cave temples were all very interesting. Our guide, Tom, was amazing and knowledgeable about Ipoh. He was also accommodating in what we wanted to see on the tour. He went above and beyond in making sure we had what we needed. He also brought us to local eateries for fabulous authentic local food. We highly recommend this tour and Tom to our friends.

We took the Ipoh private tour and went with very moderate expectations given our very average experience in KL. It was a fantastic and enriching experience on the tour. Jaie shared the history and the story behind the town and all the places we visited. He was very accomodating with our requests and not for once, did we feel rushed to complete the tour at a specific time. This tour was the highlight of our Malaysia trip

Visiting Ipoh with my sister was the best decision we made on our first trip to Malaysia! Sir Jai explained every corner of our trip, introduced us to Kopi Putih, the history of Kellie's Castle, the beautiful caves and lakes, and even at the end of the tour, he made sure that we enjoyed it and made us feel so welcome. We were recommended to book Jai by friends, and it was a great recommendation. Jai picked us up from our hotel at 09:00 and we had a wonderful experience over the next eight hours. We visited Kellie’s Castle, the Tempurung caves, Mirror Lake 2 and then the cave temples at Kek Look Tong and Perak. Jai kept us safe, well-informed and amused throughout - a true professional. He even introduced us to Ipoh white coffee (iced, as it was a hot day!). The car was very comfortable, with good air con. He also does Cameron Highlands tours and will customise to whatever suits your interests and fitness/ability. We can’t recommend him highly enough - thank you Jai!

The Ipoh Cave Tour was a real surprise, with amazing places to visit. Jim was our very informative guide and really looked after us, sharing some amazing stories of the area. Was a highlight of our trip to Malaysia. We would highly recommend a stopover in Ipoh and consider this tour. Well worth it.

We were initially collected from Ipoh train station and taken to our hotel. Jaies Chauffeur service was excellent, and the driver was very polite and helpful. The following day, Jaie collected us from our hotel and took us on a guided tour of Ipoh and Batugjah. He collected us on time, and our tour was superb. Jaie has a wealth of knowledge of the area, and every question we asked was answered with factual information. We also visited a couple of areas in Batugajah that were dear to our heart, and Jaie was happy to adjust our itinerary to take these areas into account, which completed our day. Thank you, Jaie. Jaie took us from Cameron highlands to KL via a waterfall, Batu Caves and Selangor Pewter. He was punctual, courteous, friendly and knowledgeable; the car was good quality and clean with an excellent and careful driver. Jaie was very enthusiastic and on our travel informed us of local traditions and Malaysian insight. We would highly recommend Jaie for your travels in Malaysia and I am sure he will be flexible to your plans.

Jai was our tour guide for a wonderful day in the Cameron highlands. He is very knowledgeable about the region and it was clear he had curated and evolved the tour through years of experience. The tour gives a real taste of the area, with an itinerary focusing on tea plantations, gardens, markets and a waterfall - every part was very interesting often in areas of great natural beauty, but what makes the tour extra special is the extra context, meaning behind everything, pointing out things along the way, explaining also lots of Ipoh history too - made us feel we were coming away with lots of local insights.
