We booked a 6D5N Kota Kinabalu tour with Ms Joey Yong, very friendly and helpful lady, who provided us with prompt response who assisted us in booking our tour. Our guide cum driver, Joel, was also very patient, helpful, knowledgeable, punctual and friendly. He took care of us (2 seniors) throughout the trip and helped us to take all the beautiful photos and videos. Thank you Amazing Borneo! We hope to come back again in the near future :)

We booked the 2D1N Kinabalu Park/Desa Cow Farm/Kundasang tour with Amazing Borneo through their sales manager, Mr Anthony Wong who provided us with prompt and swift response. Thanks to him we were able to book separately hotel stay at a rate lower than what was offered online. We were truly delighted that the company provided us with a 7 seater car for our group of 4 giving us the ease and privacy of travel. Our guide cum driver, Mr William is also an amazing guy sharing with us his knowledge and the culture of KK and taking care of us throughout the trip. Great team at Amazing Borneo.

Our 4 day trip was amazing! It was well planned and the pick up from airport and hotels were prompt. Amazing Borneo guides - Ridwan, Richard and William are very helpful, friendly and courteous. William was our guide for 3 days and he was awesome - very thoughtful, patient, helpful, knowledgeable, humorous and full of energy. His kindness in helping my friend who was not well at the Canopy Walk was especially endearing. And his effort in getting us to view the Rafflesia flower was out of this world. Thank you for a truly memorable adventure!

It was great and amazing since the get-go. And the Amazing borneos guides/staff were very friendly , Ridwan (i think) , Richard and William. Our entire trip would not have been memorable if not for William.for his knowledge, his thoughtfulness, his humour, his energy, his patience to 4 grannies. We were hoping that he would be the one sending us to the airport for our departure and were happy that he did. The ending could not have been sweeter. 😍

Came here, not knowing what to expect and what to get out of this tour and country. Before coming, was thinking, Sabah? Its just another country in Malaysia. Well i was so so wrong. Start and ended off the trip with a BANG!! The amount of culture Sabah has to offer was out of this world! The different tribes and ethnic that lives there is madness! Being able to experience some of them first hand was such an eye opener. Culture Tourism at its finest. The wildlife and nature that we get to see too was great!! Something we dont get to see at our own backyards. What a way to get out of the fast paced and full on technological world we are in. All in all, the trip was worth every piece of me. Havent I mentioned how nice Sabahan are? Such great hospitality they have. Shout out to Amazing Borneo, our guide Mr Joel and our splendid driver, Jak (insane driving btw) for being with my group for the entire tour, guiding and educating us about how beautiful Sabah is. Will definitely return back to Kota Kinabalu to relive is again, all my gratitude to you guys at Amazing Borneo <3

It was extraordinary and was such an unforgettable experience. I never would have thought that i would see that many stars and fireflies. It was majestic. Having coming from Canada, I find the Desa Farm not interesting. The cows are pretty skinny and basically the entire farm is more of a commercial business-minded farm. Probably it will interest the students in their education.

I contacted Amazing Borneo to put together a customized private tour, and it was definitely not "amazing". About a week later I got a draft itinerary from Carlotte which clearly was not in line with what I had asked for, and didn't even include an initial pricing or any details. So I responded a day later with a number of changes I wanted to make. After not hearing back for over 10 days I sent a reminder by email to ask about the status, and got a response from Carlotte that she had been "outstation" and therefore didn't have time. She then continued to say that she was "currently busy with office stuff" and would respond the following week. I never got anything from her after that. My guess with this company is that they are only interested in selling their standard package tours to as many people as possible, but will not provide any meaningful service to their clients. Not even prospective clients which usually says it all. My recommendation is that you look elsewhere if you want some kind of customer service and not just a standard tour.

I had a great time on this tour. We had a great tour host... William Lamb. He was knowledgeable, friendly, very accomodating and even helped us take pictures. We went to - Nabalu - Desa Farm - Alpaca Club - The foot of Mount Kinabalu Heritage Park - Sabah Museum Highly enjoyable

Really amazing. Amazing Borneo helped us online (from the Netherlands) to fulfill our wishes. In Borneo everything fitted, drivers perfectly on time, very nice people and good advices. Do you want to go to Borneo book here! Look on the website for sites to visit. We visited the rainforest in Kinabantang river and Lankayan island, a true adventure.

We are extremely pleased and happy with our entire trip from Kota Kinabalu to Kundasang, including Mt Kinabalu park, and etc…. The 4 days journey there was amazing and very well organized and we are impressed. Joel, our driver cum tour guide was such a pleasant person who shared the rich cultures and all the knowledge he has of Kota Kinabalu during our trip was priceless. Joel was also an excellent driver who took care of us during the road trip to ensure our safety and well being are not compromised. Also the services provided by the sales team, especially Anthony Wong, was prompt in his response and also provided clear information and great assistance in booking our land tour smoothly and efficiently. We strongly recommend ‘Amazing Borneo’ for all Sabah trip and will definitely booked our trip with them again in the near future.

My friends and I joined the 2D1N tour to climb Mt Kinabalu and Walk the Torq. We were very lucky that we had very nice weather during our stay and we met some great guides (Joey and Vinus). Under their guidance (also helping us carrying our heavy gear during the hike), we were able to watch the amazing sunsets and sunrise from the mountain! They also helped us take beautiful pictures! Would definitely recommend my friends to join this tour!

I had an amazing time climbing Mt. Kinabalu. From the smooth and helpful booking process (Thanks Jenniewee), to the pick up, organization at the base of the hike, and everything all the way up, it ran like a well-oiled machine! My guide Danson was fantastic - answered all of my questions about the mountain, kept a steady pace up on day 1, and timed our pace on day 2 so we reached the summit just as the sun crested the horizon! Would absolutely recommend this tour for anyone wanting to climb Mt. Kinabalu - a tough but such a worthwhile trek!
