The climb up Mount Kinabalu was an incredible and unforgettable experience. The views were breathtaking, and even though we encountered some rain, we were fortunate to witness the beauty of the sunrise and I’m already looking forward to climbing again with Borneo Calling and Mountain Torq. Had an incredible experience with my mountain guide, John, on our ascent of Mount Kinabalu. His expertise and knowledge of the terrain made me feel safe every step of the way. Also, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to Borneo Calling and the Mountain Torq team for their prompt assistance in recovering my belongings. A special thanks to Mr. William M, whose unwavering support was instrumental in helping me locate my items, which carry great sentimental value. Everything was so smooth, from booking, airport pickup, climbing and transfer to city. The staff response quickly so I didn’t have to worry about the arrangement. Mountain guide was nice and friendly. It was an amazing climbing experience.

Took the 3D2N package with BorneoCalling and absolutely loved it. Everything was well arranged, from preclimb, climb and post climb for Mount Kinabalu. Mountain Guide Jimmy was very patient and friendly, and I look forward to climbing Mount Kinabalu again with BorneoCalling. This is my third climb with BorneoCalling and I'm very happy and satisfied.

We initially booked a 3D2N package for a group of 8. Unfortunately, one member injured himself just prior to the climb and had to cancel. Borneo Calling was able to accommodate by providing credit for a later climb. The weather just before Panalaban and to the summit for us was incredibly windy and misty. We were advised to descent once we have reached the summit to avoid hypothermia. We all made it to the summit and back and have great memories we will cherish forever. Thanks Borneo Calling.

I booked the 3d2n tour with Borneo calling few months back and submitted the mountain on 9th September 2024. The process was extremely smooth, from booking the trip all the way to the end of the trip. We had great experience, smooth planning with borneo calling. Everything is on time and briefing is detailed. Safety is first and guide ensures it all the time. We had a great stay in Kinabalu park villa before we ventured our hiking trip and one day tour was great too.

Everything was great! Except for the unforseen weather, the journey was very tough for us. Other than that, we are thoroughly satisfied with their services. For his time and introduction about the few places he brought us to visit. Big shout out to our mountain guide, Jemin. He was really being patient with us despite our really slow paces throughout the journey. We really appreciate his company. With his appearance, we managed to reach our destination in one piece. We also liked to say a big THANKS to our driver, Khuzaile, for his time and effort despite us being very late on our arrival at Timpohon gate. He served us hot meals after we arrived at Kinabalu Park. This really touched us as we were so worn off after the long day. Also, a big THANKS for Mei ! My 3d2n via Timpohon> Sayat-Sayat climb was awesome and memorable. Mountain guide Rameo was very experienced, following us all the way everywhere. He did not get annoyed and rushed us while we take breaks, and leave as soon as we say we are ready. He did not disturb us on our hike, and do give us tips, cautions and guidance on our way as a beginner climber. Agent Sky, I believe from HQ, arranged and been in contact with me months before our trip. He was prepared for all my enquiries. Definitely would recommend to my friends about your tour. The stay are clean and cozy. Vans are well maintained. Drivers are experienced, they drove fast but are always safe because we are rushing. We are having issues with our passport and must renew before flying back. Suhaime helped us and bring us to UTC and gave us guidance without getting annoyed. Very happy with their friendliness.

Everything was well planned and I felt assured being on this trip. From receiving a text in advance regarding my pick up to meeting my guide and subsequently smoothness in checking into accomodation on kinabalu and summit, there was no delay throughout the whole process. The experience throughout the hike was great as well, food was amazing and guide provided was very experience and helpful. Overall, was a fantastic experience and would highly recommend to choose this if anyone is ever trying to summit mount kinabalu!

We had a great and easy time coordinating with Borneo Calling (Mei) during our Mt KK hike. They can attend to our additional request (e.g. medals, porter) with ease. The guides Conan & Bi An are friendly and patient with us 😀 Helping hands are really helpful during the tough terrain routes!

We joined the 3D2N private tour. The staff communicating with me through WhatsApp since the beginning of the booking was very helpful and efficient. Her response was quick and she gave us useful advice. The driver who drove us to the Nabalu village and other sightseeing spots on the first day of the tour was very kind. He shared with us and briefed us about our hike in great details. We lived at Kinabalu park on the first night and Laban rata on the second night. Both accommodations were exceptionally clean, comfy and with great view. On the hiking day, our registration, luggage and everything was well taken care of and was really smooth. A scrumptious lunch was packed for our hike. The mountain guide was also very kind and helpful. The overall experience was excellent😍😍😍. I’d definitely recommend it to people who want to go hike Mount Kinabalu. 10/10 experience (:

My partner and I booked a 2D1N climb up Mount Kinabalu via Ferrata (Low’s Peak Circuit) with Borneo Calling and it was amazing! Our scheduled pick up was punctual (slightly early even!), communication with the tour operator was easy - getting information promptly and knowing exactly what we needed to know to prepare for the trip. Our guides for both the climb and the via Ferrara were very experienced and that gave us a lot of peace knowing we were in safe hands. There was little to no waiting around when it came to transport back to our accommodation after the hike too - we were dead tired by then so that was much needed! Will definitely recommend!

Borneo Calling made the entire experience fuss-free, from meals to planning transportation. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly too! When I left something behind, and the driver went to the extra mile to retrieve it and send it personally to my hotel concierge. Would highly recommend this to anyone considering climbing KK!
