Exploring orangutans and the longhouse village
We did the longhouse / semenggoh tour with Jason and it was amazing. Jason was very well educated about the tours and nice. The tours themselves were great and we got the opportunity to see a couple of orangutans. The people from the longhouse village were incredibly kind and generous with their time.Highly recommend this tour

      Enjoyable trip
A little bit late, but made a last-minute booking with Paradesa Borneo to re-visit the Bako NP. Good response and the trip was worthwhile the effort. Thanks to Danny our tour guide who was excellent.

      An adventurous and energetic day
This was our third day trip this year with Paradesa and thoroughly enjoyable. A great day out in the rainforest with our kayaks, a tasty lunch, followed by a cave visit and energetic bicycle ride. A big thank you to our friendly and knowledgeable guides!

Farha was our guide and was just great. Full of knowledge regarding history of Kuching. And food on our walk was fabulous. Highly recommended.

Fabulous visit to see the orangutans at Semenggoh Nature Reserve.
I had a fabulous time visiting Semenggoh Nature Reserve with Paradesa Tours. Danny did a great job making it easy to visit the reserve with a timely hotel pickup, helpful and informative information about the local area. He made a great effort to make sure we saw the orangutans and never rushed us. I would recommend using this company.

2 day/1 night Bako National Park tour
A great value package, and having the most knowledgeable guide in Jason really made the difference. He knew every species of mammal, insect and plants, and importantly where to find them. People coming to the park without a guide saw almost nothing. The cafeteria food was great, and the lodge understandably basic. We are glad we did the package for overall efficiency and non-stop wildlife viewing.

      Kuching Walking and food Tour
We knew we wanted to do a food tour as we’ve done them before In other countries and have always enjoyed them. So we decided to book with Paradesa Borneo which we found by searching on the internet. We are happy to say this was one of our favourites. Our guide Kelvin was friendly, informative good company. Other than the obvious food stops which were all really enjoyable and tasty Kelvin covered local culture and history. What we enjoy about food tours is they take you off the beaten track to places you probably wouldn’t find. Kelvin took us to a variety of different eateries but our stand out was an Indian street vendor and Chinese family run baker who specialised in savoury pastries. It was so good we even went back for seconds after our food tour. To sum our review up, book this tour and if you get Kelvin as a guide you won’t be disappointed.

      Semenggoh nature reserve
We got collected on time, at 8am by our rep Delilah and driver Lan. The drive was only around 30mins and we paid an extra 15 ringets each at the Sanctuary to get taken to the briefing in a buggy, which was well worth it as it was a steep 800m walk. We were taken to a viewing gallery by a feeding platform where a ranger took food and called the orangatans. At this point, it definitely looked like we were not going to be lucky enough to see any orangutans. Then we got called back to the briefing area as one orangutan was sighted. It was amazing. We were able to observe her feeding from 4 meters. Delilah told us normally you only see them in the trees or on the feeding platforms 30 meters away. It was a magical experience. We were truly blessed with this experience. Delilah was a great tour guide and great company. Hope you are as lucky as we were!

      Excellent free walking tour
This review is JUST for the free Kuching walking tour with Delilah. She was EXCELLENT. I learned a number of interesting facts about Kuching on the 1.5-1.75 hour walking tour, plus she took us to the original vendor of gula apong ice cream and pointed out a cheap mee kolo spot for me! I heard later that this was the last walking tour of the year so glad I caught it!

Hey there Delilah, what’s it like in Kuching?
Delilah was an incredible guide. We did the Kuching free waking tour with her (such a shame it has been discontinued) and it was brilliant. Delilah was as really knowledgeable about the area and super friendly - teaching us about local history plus offering bar and restaurant recommendations. Hope the free walking tour comes back :)

      Afternoon in Semenggoh Village
We went to Semenggoh Village to see the Orangutans. The tour was'organized well with great comminication from the tour guide before and during the tour. Pick up went well and Danny gave us lots of local information on our drive to Semengohh Village. This is a tour you can do independently if you chose but the odds of seeing an Orangutan are increased as the communication between guides and Village staff regarding location of Orangutans is helpful. We were able to see 3 Orangutans on our visit. It was wonderful to see.

Awesome free walking tour to explore the heart of the city!
I was happy enough to read about the free walking tour just in time to sign in for the same day and it was really a great experience and a way to get a special inside to Kuching. We were a group of 5 people and had a pleasant stroll through the city with our guide Delilah. She was very friendly, helpful and informative as she told us many interesting details about Kuching and showed us some special places in the heart of the city. Additionally, there was lots of time to ask questions and to get into contact with the others in the group.

Got lucky with weather, sights, and our tour guide!
Did the 2D1N tour at Bako National Park with Danny as our guide. It was a brilliant experience, no small thanks to Danny. He was clearly highly motivated in providing us the best experience possible. He was constantly actively sourcing for information and planning how we can see the most sights while balancing with our comfort and safety. We were one of the only two groups that evening who were lucky enough to see a colugo gliding across the trees, thanks to his efforts!

One of the best bike tours we have ever done! Our guide Kelvin was excellent and we learnt a lot about Kuching history and visited key locations on route. The tour also had a surprising amount of local tasty food included and represented very good value for money. I can highly recommend this tour to anyone who can ride a bike😁

Great half day cycling tour for us as family of 4 with a 7 year old (hired own bike) and 4 year old (on back of adult bike). Our guide, Lister, was great. He got the pace of the tour right with refreshment stops to try local drinks and foods plus pointing out the sights. Kids enjoyed buying bananas in the market. Finished off with excitement of putting bikes on a sampan to row across the river. Would recommend strongly.

This tour is a great way to get to know Kuching in just a morning. My guide Farhah grew up here (we went through her village) and eloquently described the local history, food, and additional sites to see. The tour of the market was outstanding - I must have taken 20 pictures of all the food, and tried a half dozen of them.
This tour gave me the info to explore more of the city. We started at the waterfront, rode through the historical district, Little India, Little China, the 6 villages south of the river, the market, and the north waterfront. Yet we never rushed, and Farhah always had time to describe everything from a local perspective.

We had a fabulous time with Farhah, exploring the alleys and back ways of Kuching, riding to the villages along the river, stopping for refreshment in a neighborhood and later stopping at a great farmers market, riding back on the opposite side of the river and taking a boat back to “our” side of the river. We learned of the history and customs of the area and much more. Definitely a tour worth taking.

Great half day introduction to Kuching and the local villages. Would recommend to first time visitors to get their bearings and also taste some great street food, taste opium coffee (a personal highlight) and see some of the key sights of the area. Our guide Lister was very patient and easy going. Cycling route is easy, so accessible to all bike riding capabilities.

The Heritage bicycletour was great fun! We learned a lot about Sarawak, the life in Kuching and the food ofcourse. Bicycles were in very good condition. The set up of the tour was perfect. Cycling around, making some cultural and food stops in the city, to cycle a bit more through the kampongs to finally return by boat. The guide was also such a kind and great guy. He put a lot of effort in giving us an amazing experience! We had a lovely day.

We just came back from an amazing half day tour of Kuching, sampling amazing local food in hidden-in-plain-sight stalls. We ended up having a private tour guided by Kelvin Lu. We had such a great time with Kelvin, it felt like visiting a friend who would tour us around his city and take us to the best spots. Lots of information, great conversation, Kelvin is a natural when it comes to guiding. As a bonus he's given us recommendations for places to eat in the next cities we'll be visiting. We highly recommend this. Terima Kasih Kelvin & Paradesa Borneo.

A great way to see the more secret spots in Kuching and to get a great insight to its history and people.
Delilah was an absolute dream of a tour guide and even went to the extra trouble of getting us on an afternoon tour after we missed our morning slot due to jet lag.
She was wonderful for our 9 year old daughter who grew in confidence over the course of the tour and navigated the city beautifully.
This is a lovely way to get around with some welcome drink stops and Delilah was marvellous company.

We had an amazing bike tour. Got to see lots of interesting places by riding our bikes. Delilah was an extraordinary tour guide. Her knowledge, personality and professionalism all combined to make our tour an enjoyable experience. The food, snacks, fruit and coffee and.boat ride were amazing as well.We were taken to both the tourists hotspots as well as places most tourists would not generally visit providing a great insight into the city of Kuching. Thanks Delilah. We would do your tour again any day!
