Husband and wife see Kutching from the river .
Husband and wife holidaing in Kutching , took a ride down the river in the e enj g to see the sites. We had a running commentary and live music. There were also a few dancers later in the 90 minutes voyage . Helpful staff - got an orange juice . The views of tne buildings and sites were okay; the river however is filthy . A never ending flow of rubbish passing you by in muddy waters .

Day trip to Sepilok Orang Utan, Labuk Probiscos, Sun Bears and Borneo Handicraft centre.
The Labuk Bay Probiscos was worthwhile visiting and watching the feeding. Our driver Mr Farhan (+60 11-2532 2699) was very professional, friendly and accomodating.

          Very disappointed. Could be better
Very disappointing visit. Whilst there is no guarantee of seeing the gorgeous orangutans we sit through a 20 minute briefing on the do’s and dont’s and then it falls flat because no orangutan in site. Having been to Sepilok we felt this was a waste of time and money. All there was, was a small presentation video room and a few photos - not even a shop to buy stuff, though there was a stall seller in car park. They should make this a more interesting centre if you are unable to see an orangutan. Felt so flat and will not go again.

Our tour guide, Mas Daud was amazing. Funny, very knowledgeable and very friendly. The cultural centre was such a great experience and we were lucky to see two orangutans at Semanggoh. Simply amazing. Highly recommend this tour for everyone.

The cultural village experience was so interesting and exciting. Beautiful local lunch on top of that. Unfortunately we didn’t get to see any orangutans, our chauffeur and guide Tom was fantastic

Very enjoyable visit and we went away understanding the different ethnic groups and cultures
The guide was fantastic. Enthusiastic, knowledgeable and very articulated. He made the visit so enjoyable and it was wonderful to see all the staff enjoying what they are doing. Certainly recommend this and special mention to Papoi ( not sure if I got it correctly but we joked that his name is similar to Popeye) We know that he is half Bajau.

          Great opportunity to see orangutans
The park if home to many rehabilitated orangutans who now call this place home. Given it's been established for so long they are now breeding and having their own offspring. We were super lucky to see the orangutans - 6 in total. One solo near one of the feeding platforms, then a group of 4 which included a mother with a tiny baby as well is 2 older siblings who were all hanging out together and then finally a large male who was really close to the road. The ranger fed him various fruits to keep him occupied while we all snapped shots and then he was finally off. This was a highlight for us on our trip to Borneo - be aware though that there is a degree of commercialism here with many taking the chance to visit

A little disappointed to what we were expecting due to nursery being closed
Lovely walk through the forest Great conservation work in their semi nature environment Feeding is on a table that you watch from distant At the time of visiting we had to wear face masks due to possibility of contamination The path down to the nursery was cut off due to fallen tree so we couldn’t access that which was disappointing Then after watching them feed that was the end and exited to see the sun bears which was lovely

A must do in Kota Kinabalu
Highly recommend this tour - transfers to/from our hotel in Kota Kinabalu were on time in a clean and comfortable vehicle. Upon arrival organised into groups with a local guide (descendent from one of the indigenous tribes) to learn more about the 5 tribes of Sabah. Throughout the tour learnt about the long houses, making clothes, food, rice wine, starting a fire (without matches). The most fun was the trampoline in the long house and meeting a chief (descendent of a headhunter). Entertainment with local music and dance. Prior to leaving a cooked lunch (for those on the morning tour). Highly recommended for all visitors no matter the age.

          An Unforgettable Experience
This was a wonderful day. I had the best guide ever. My guide was Antoni. He was very knowledgeable and gave me tips on how to take pics of the Orangutans. he made sure I was in the right place to see them when they come to feed. I got great pictures. When we went to the Culture Center, he explained all of the exhibits in each of the houses, and told me about his childhood experiences using many of the tools that we saw. I highly recommend this experience and I hope you get Antoni as your guide. Also he is a great picture taker!!

Dear Sir , We are truly happy you have enjoyed the tour. Despite the scorching hot day , although shaded by canopy trees , it was humidity the whole day. Please in your next trip to Borneo , visit Kinabatangan River , Sukau in Sabah. Nature at it's best.

To the P.N. Bako leaves to watch the proboscis monkeys, nothing more. In our case we didn't see any and the people in the park knew perfectly well that at this time it was almost impossible to see them. At no time had they prepared food for them to appear. It is not the right time, better to be honest and close the park and not cause disappointment and expense.

Esperamos poder servirle nuevamente. atentamente, MH Team

We already knew that it was going to be difficult to find the proboscis monkeys. But we had crossed half the world to see them. We set ourselves the goal of not being too ambitious and enjoying every meter traveled. Jungle, mangroves, sea, rock formations...
We saw some proboscis monkeys from afar and among the vegetation. We must recognize that they are wild animals
Suddenly we ran into a male two meters away from us. eating leaves
It is not clear who was more surprised of the two.
My guide fulfilled his objective and we were able to fulfill our first objective in Borneo
A unique experience that no one should miss. By the way, there are no mosquitoes.

Esperamos poder servirle nuevamente. gracias MH Team

We took a Grab from Kuching to the national park, which was no problem, and we also got one for the way back straight away. There were four of us on the crossing, so you can only go back with four people. We had booked 2 nights in a Forest Hostel. We were worried about the condition of the hostel because we had read the reports on Tripadvisor, but we were pleasantly surprised. The hostel we were in had probably been renovated, but there were no holes in the floor or much mold. We stayed in Forest Hostel A. There are 4 rooms with 4 beds and 2 women and 2 men showers and toilets for all 16 people. The rooms are very small and there are fly screens on the windows and a fan. It was also reasonably clean. The bed is covered with pillows and a fitted sheet, but I can't say whether this was fresh, I would recommend a hut sleeping bag. There is nothing to cover yourself with.
The tours are pretty strenuous, and it is definitely better to do them in the morning than in the afternoon.
