About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- ScottHarrison100 contributionsWouldn't recommendSome great sites, but the view of the Petronas towers is in a random road a fair way away from the towers themselves (our hotel was closer with a better view). Two of the stops were definite 'fake tourism' situations, whereby the tour company clearly has a deal with the places (only visitors here are those on tours). The guide fell asleep a couple of times throughout the experience, and it was felt that at the end, they wished to go home and either rush us on or drop us elsewhere so we could make our own way back... One of the stops you visit we were told we would have 40 minutes, but as it's 25 past, I'll round it and give you until quarter to... (i.e. giving 20 minutes). This wasn't enough time to go in to the museum... which also isn't included in the price?! Overall I'd say this was a slightly expensive taxi service, with some nice details given within the ride.Written 15 March 2020
- rogerbM7131CI0 contributionsHuge Budda and 272 StairsThe trip started with a visit to a Pewter Factory which was initially quite interesting but then turned into soft sell shopping. Similar to the "batik" factory, which basically had two people painting and everyone else trying to sell stuff. Finally we got to the temple. The Budda was huge and the coloured stairs looked good from a distance. Easier to walk up than we thought despite the temperate which was over 30°. The actual cave was enormous but the Temples inside were less impressive. Still worth a visit as nowhere else is like this.Written 14 March 2020
- Logan_ell730 contributionsSuch a beautiful place!Loved the colourful stairs and the other picture-worthy spots at this cave. It was a very hot day but I bought an ice cream from one of the ice cream bikes at the cave. The view from above was astounding, it made the climb up less tiring Ha ha..Written 5 March 2020
- Chris D0 contributionsEnjoyable afternoon tourGreat tour, we were given plenty of time to see the caves and temples. The visits to Batik and the Pewter factory were also interesting. Would definately recommend itWritten 29 February 2020
- Nathan W0 contributionsNothing but one Amazing City full of EnergyThis city is one of my favourites that never sleeps and has such a huge vibe about it. There is so much to do during the day and more at night. The lights are so colourful and bright it just leaves you memorised. Then there is the food. OMG the food is endless of variety taste and smells as with cheap to. Thats my type of travel destination.Written 22 February 2020
- Roving5777970 contributionsThis is a must!!! Just Amazing....We got there early and were able to enjoy not only the main Cave, but the otherones as well. You want to make sure that if you are a female you are approprietly dressed. That means cover your knees and your shoulders, be respectful of their culture and you will enjoy every minute of it.Highly recomended.Written 13 February 2020
- shantiagam0 contributionsVisit to Batu Caves, KLBatu caves is a place to visit. However it is better to visit it early in the morning before it becomes too warm. Don't miss the Ramayan Cave. Prepare to spend at least 2 to 3 hours at Batu caves.Written 13 January 2020
- 595451225340 contributionsBatu Caves Tour from Kuala LumpurGreat tour! Good insights from the tour guide Mike, good stops at the Pewter factory, Batik company and the caves. Really worth going, thank you!Written 13 January 2020
- johnronaldw0 contributionsWouldn’t go againWe took the hop on hop off bus to the caves, really enjoyed the open top bus ride. Best part of the trip! Steps very impressive to look at. Hundreds of pigeons everywhere. A few shops and stalls when you get off the bus. Ladies have to pay to hire a sarong if wearing shorts or a skirt, It was a great achievement climbing the stairs but rather disappointing when we reached the top. A few more shops at the top. 76 More stairs to climb once inside the caves. A few temples inside that you have to pay to go inside. The cave itself was impressive but small. The monkeys were the highlightWritten 12 January 2020
- FinnianOD0 contributionsSlightly underwhelmedTook the train from KL Central, took about half an hour, the statue and the steps looked very impressive, but once you entered the caves inside was a bit of a disappointment, a few small shrines inside were not overly impressive,Written 16 December 2019
- sdm22220 contributionsBusiness tripHelpful and accessible, I love it! The representative is really nice and informed me the best price and promo etc..Written 10 December 2019
- V6517ZWjackg0 contributionsDisappointedThis tour is bizarre. Half the time is taken up driving through heavy traffic to visit two obscure businesses that presumably have a kickback deal with the tour company (the only people in them are tourists dumped there by the busses) . Two sites that actually would have been interesting to see in person, the national mosque and the old railway station, are simply driven past and waved at by the driver... The time already taken up by the visit to the chocolate and textiles shops. It gets three stars because its cheap and there are a couple of good stops. However I simply cannot believe that people are giving this five stars.Written 30 November 2019
- AceBash0 contributionsGood experienceThere is space for better organisation though. But overall nice 👍 nice transport link to a destinationWritten 26 November 2019
- suemT6330SN0 contributionsCaves interestingIt was good to see the caves, but you don't get to see much else. You get a trip to a pewter factory which was interesting. The driver/guide was helpful and informative.Written 12 November 2019
- Marta T0 contributionspretty astonishing, definitely worth visitingBe prepared for quite a climb in hot and humid conditions. Take your camera with you. There are some shops around you can buy water from though.Written 10 November 2019
