- stanleycT5685SE00Amazing Putrajaya Bike TourVery scenic ride around Putrajaya with a lot of detail of the history of Malaysia! I would definitely do other tours with Bike with Elena. Ended the day with a great meal together full of local Malaysian cuisine.
- craig g00Informative ,Unique , RelaxedRelaxed , informative and unique Elena knowledgeable and genuinely seemed to enjoy sharing Kuala Lumpur. There was a great balance of local sites and history
- 758brookew00Sunset Tour of KLInteresting, informative and entertaining cycle around some of KL’s authentic landmarks under a setting sun. Elena is an engaging host who knows her stuff. If you’re after a more intimate experience we can’t recommend this enough. Dinner stop was delicious. All Elena needs to throw in is a cocktail and dessert and it would be the ultimate tour!
- Eddy&Anke J00Must do to explore KLGreat way to explore KL on the bike with Elena. It’s still rare to cycle through KL as many locals want to have pictures with you and the bike. Elena is taking good care for safety of her group and shows highlights of Kl. The trip includes history of KL, religion and have 3 stops with some food and drinks.
- nicolacarlow00Nice Sunday morning tripE made a ride on Sunday morning with our 12 and 13 years old girls. The ride was pleasant and rewarding. Elena guides us safely around the major sightseeing marks of Kuala Lumpur, also explaining the hysotry of the towm amd so.e of the actual facts. I reccomend it
- shaznwaz253300Highly recommend this tourThis was a terrific tour! We learned so much from knowledgeable Elena about the history, culture and various destinations around KL. Visited places we would not have otherwise found and had some fabulous experiences. The bike pace was easy and we certainly appreciated the breeze that we generated enroute.
- Flyer81342400Great food Tour with Elena in Kuala LumpurHad a great time with Elena and enjoyed the tour very much. Saw places and got into restaurants which we would never ever explored. Highly recommended.
- wailingy201900Great experience in cycling in KLJust did Waterfall bike tour to Gunung Nuang eco park and Sungai Congkak forest reserve . The journey is scenic and the ascending level is good enough for sweating but not to a challenging extent. Elena is very chatty and helpful who gives us a lot of advice in travelling different parts of Malaysia, also recommendation of local food.
- Calison090700Hidden KL Cycle TourElena is a very knowledgeable and personable guide so she is able to share historical and cultural information along the way. The cycle is undemanding and flat so most people would be able to do this and it is broken into several stops. I particularly enjoyed the stops to make roti at an Indian restaurant, have breakfast in Chinatown, and learn more about Chinese medicine in a local clinic and the visit to a village. What I loved the most was talking to Elena about life in Malaysia, especially for a woman and mother. Thank you Elena.
- Kittipongadvisor00Unseen KL,and discover new experiencesWonderful trip, discovered unseen places and saw beautiful night lights in KL,and went to outside KL to found the nature with forest and waterfall. The experience you shouldn't missing..😄
- Ceciliaetlilo00Great experience !Night city tour : it was very good. Elena is very nice and knowledgeable. We learned a lot and biking the city at dawn is very agreable !
- M9083SNjenniferh00Lovely way to spend a morning in KLMy husband, cousin and I had a very enjoyable morning with Elena doing the Hidden Secrets of Kuala Lumpur. I grew up in Malaysia and my cousin is an expat Malaysian, but we still learnt a lot from Elena. She is very knowledgeable about the local history and customs. We covered colonial and settlers history, went to places of worship of four different religions (which is very Malaysian), went down little hidden areas in Chinatown and Kampong Baru, and ate some lovely food on the way. It was so nice to hear her chatting with the food vendors as she obviously cares about them and their businesses. It was a really lovely way to spend a morning in KL.
- Voyage71009300Experience KL as a localElena is a great guide. She knows what tourists like, experience local food, see the different religious entities in town and how they are integrated in the city. The whole tour is an experience where you get to bike through various parts of the city, try out different foods and even how to make your own roti (Indian pancake).
- mauricerice13800Do the Sunset-Tour!We (couple) had an awesome Tour with Elena. About three and a half hours of biking, eating and drinking. We took the "Kuala Lumpur Night Exploration and Food Bike Tour" which you can book at Klook. It gives you a nice overview of the city - so it's a good thing to do on your first days in Kuala Lumpur. Elena could tell us a lot about the places we went to and the food we ate. We also had nice conversations with her about the different cultural influences in Malaysia and how Malaysian culture compares to the western world. We had three meals - Chinese, Indian and Malaysian. Some of the places were known tourist-spots, others not - and all served traditional food and drinks. (Tip: you should eat meat, there are not many options for vegans). As for the biking: Elena took good care of us and kept us safe. Because although it was fun to bike through KL, it is quite dangerous. Many people here - especially the ones on the scooters - don't seem to care about traffic rules.
- Bokseboam00Lots of history lesson and to few bike kilometersI think this tour is nice, it gives a good impression of the city's rich history. Our guide was a great historian, but it was hard to get his English through a face mask. So sometimes the stories were hard to follow and also a bit lengthy. However, we leaned a lot, and we definitely got a fresh perspective of the city. We were a little disappointed as we felt this bike tour would have been a walking one, given the kilometers. Only the last 30 minutes involved some more bike kilometers.

Such a great morning spent with Elena in the Malaysian countryside. Elena picked me up right on time and took me to Sungai Janggut, around an hour from central KL. We had a delicious local breakfast then spent a happy few hours cycling around and enjoying the beautiful scenery, with frequent stops to say hi to locals, enjoy the view and learn about the area and local culture. Elena was fantastic. Super friendly and accommodating, and a lovely person. After a delicious local lunch we headed back to KL. This was the kind of trip I would never have been able to do alone, and I would highly recommend it to people wanting to get to know the real Malaysia.

Thank you for the kind review Katie! Happy to hear you enjoyed the trip. I enjoyed the half day being your guide and just being out cycling again after such a long movement control order.
I hope you would try other village rides & waterfalls with us. Thank you for supporting us during these difficult times.

I regularly cycled from PJ to KL, but never went beyond China Town in KL, as the route beyond didn’t seem to be bike-friendly. After biking with Elena, I was pleasantly surprised that we were able to cycle beyond Kg Baharu to witness a small retirees community with small plots of land each to rekindle the “kampung” community cooperative spirit (badly needed in the city), and also to Datuk Keramat to witness the world famous “Longkang” Graffiti. Elena knew many small lanes including back of houses lanes to get to places. Both these sites were totally unknown to me before though I’m a resident of PJ. Thanks Elena for the excellent trip

By cycling with Elena, I realized once again that there are still many parts of KL that I haven’t been. Especially, the graffiti art along the river and the path from Sungai Bunus to Titiwangsa Lake Park was amazing and exciting.
She guided us along a path with little car traffic and lots of greenery, so we were able to cycle safely :) Thank you Elena!

The very very best recommandations to “Bike with Elena” – it’s the most preferabel active way to see, observe, smell, touch and listen to the vibrant city! Elena knows everything worth knowing about the wonderful city. Sunday morning we had a truly great experience on the guidet bike-tour with Elena. She took us around the city by excellents bikes, and she explained a lot of interesting and “good to know” information about the city and its citizens. We had several stops, and Elena has prepared a very good mix of points of interests! Elena speak a fluent english, she has a good sense of humor – and the only things we need to say: Do it! Needles to say – you should have some experience in biking safely around in a capital!

Last week was my first ride with Elena, and it was raining half the time. Forgotten how cycling in the rain can be fun; brought back joyous childhood memories. The routes taken seem familiar for us KL dwellers and yet countless surprises sprung up at unexpected nooks n corners. Community Garden plots, dedicated cycling path along the Sungai Bunus and u get to see amazing wildlife with plenty of painted storks and herons foraging in the river. After navigating through pebbled and unpaved we found ourselves in a neverending art gallery along the storm drains. Amazingly vibrant graffitis of varying sizes littered both sides of the drains. We were told graffiti artists all over the world used to convene there annually until the Covid 19 struck. Elena was a knowledgeable and experience guide and we truly learnt a lot and enjoyed our tour very much. Looking forward to discovering more places with her.

We had an amazing day with Elena. The tour was very diverse and provided an immersion in all that the Malaysian culture has to offer. From the back alleys in Chinatown to all the different cultures in Kuala Lumpur and the contrast between the sky high buildings and the small traditional houses, the tour offers it all.
Elena was very kind and has a great knowledge of the history of the town and the different cultures. Overall we had an amazing experience and would definitely recommend the tour to anyone who would love to discover Kuala Lumpur.

Elena brought us to explore a different side of KL that we don’t normally see in an urban city. We rode through all the small alleys, next to the river, discovering hidden gems like graffiti art, community farm, traditional kampung houses that still exist among the skyscrapers. Very insightful tour, while getting to know my own city.

Elena knows KL really well. I'm a PJ-native, and had always thought that I 'knew' KL. But the city you see by bike is really different from the city you would normally see from your car.
So many places connect in ways you never knew. Take the back lanes and check out a different side of KL.
