- cmkolle00Well worth it!Absolutely wonderful day. Well paced and good variety of places. Our guide INDRAN arrived right on time and was excellent throughout and let us go at our own pace and take our time. He varied the itinerary by starting with the springs, waterfall and then caves, followed by a scrumptious Indian lunch before heading to the batik, watch and pewter factories. This flowed very well and helped us avoid the hottest time of the day. Would thoroughly recommend this to any visitor to KL. Just remember to take water, although you can buy at the waterfall as well as the caves, and watch out for the monkeys (even at the waterfall we saw one steal someone’s unattended bag.
- LisaJ95100Amazing private tour to Batu Caves and moreMy friend and I did a private tour with INDRAN to the hot springs, Batu Caves, Batik store, watches and jewellery store and pewter factory. It was a wonderful day full of lots of great memories. Indran was an excellent guide and so accommodating to our requests. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone travelling to KL.
- jannene12300Batu caves, hot springs and waterfallMr Raja arrived on time and was really friendly and informative. He gave us lots of information about the local area and made the trip fun and interesting. The Batu caves are amazing and well worth the 270 step climb ! The hot springs were extremely hot ! And we loved swimming in the waterfall. Thankyou Mr Raja for a great day. Would highly recommend.
- David R00KLCC Symphony of LughtsPrompt tour guide. Very informative on KL knowledge and sights we were taken too. Easy friendly driver. Gave us a lot of extra info on other tours which we did also thanks to him. Wasn’t rushed at any stop. Worth the money.
- Lozzac9600Amazing tour with a fantastic driver. We had an amazing trip with our driver Aris who was full of interesting info! We went to the pewter museum (which is so worth it and was fantastic!), then to a fabric dyeing place before heading to the Batu caves. The hot springs, waterfalls and lunch were also fantastic! If you are debating booking this - do!
- 569tricias00Great trip highly recommendedThe day was wonderful - Enjoyed all the visits and immersing ourselves in a true Malaysian Experience. Our wonderful driver and tour guide encouraged us to engage in the full experience
- whosthatgiiiirl00Great tourWe had a lot of fun on the tour. We stopped at the pewter museum, then the batik coloring place, Batu Caves, hot springs and the waterfalls. Everything was super cool. After the stops we got some great food. Our driver Raja was very nice and happy. He made sure that we feel comfortable and happy.
- Jacob L00Worthwhile private tour, batu caves are the starHelpful guide takes you on a private tour to a 3/4s day adventure. Hot springs are low key and too hot to swim in, only good for soaking feet. The falls are gorgeous and quite private. Those who can hike a bit will be rewarded with extra falls. The Batu caves are simply stunning. Plenty of monkeys and multiple temples to enjoy. Some of the other temples do have additional fees. The Batik shop is just some store. Cute, and they have a little demonstration and explanation. The Pewter museum is also a fun little diversion.
- KennethAdvanture00I like it !Long Long Walk...This is place mostly for kids and young family, or elderly whose like to game...or lose money.
- CarolineMSmith00A good day but guide annoying!Great trip- albeit expect to drop in on some local attractions (pewter factory!) which weren’t expected. Caves are good- women need to have knees covered. Caves and waterfalls amazing- thermal spas different experience and kids didn’t enjoy but only there minutes so wasn’t an issue. Food was questionable but expected than. our guide was nice but started to lecture kids about what they needed to do in future life (aged 13!) which wasn’t great. Asked questioned but didn’t listen and just spoke at us which became annoying! Didn’t spoil the day though.
- Jo-Anne M00Family Day TripWe thoroughly enjoyed our tour, Fauzi our guide was very knowledgeable, spoke great English and gave us the time we wanted at each stop, at no time did we feel rushed. The Batu caves were really interesting to see, busy but not too much so. We then went on to the batik and pewter centres, again both were very interesting, with absolutely no pressure to buy anything (something we've encountered a lot in other countries). Lunch was at a local restaurant and was very tasty and plentiful, we couldn't eat it all. Fauzi checked we were happy with everything and if we needed any more. After lunch we visited the hot springs, unfortunately they were way too hot for us, but interesting all the same. The final stop was the waterfalls, much cooler to paddle our feet in. Again they were busy, but this added to our enjoyment of the trip, especially a monkey stealing someones bag of crisps! The whole trip lasted approx 7 hours and we were well looked aftwr throughout.
- minimud00Underwhelming - perhaps I just had the wrong driver for this oneTour driver whilst friendly and knowledgable I don't recall seeing any Malay villages or visiting any chocolate shops - I got the sense that the driver didn't really know what was suppose to be in the tour list of activities. We did however fill up the 6 hours and he was happy to help take photos and videos when asked. Car was comfortable and clean and aircon in-between spots was a definite blessing. However .... driver actually missed 2 x turn offs and a bit of time was wasted needing him to re-navigate back on track. His driving was also less than desirable - travelling 60 km/hr on the highway at a few times (perhaps pondering if he needed to take the next turn off but missing it anyway), driving across 2 lanes (ie in the middle), leaving indicator on for extended periods of time and at one time I even needed to say "NO" that is a one way street... The locals had to quickly tell me that one of the hot springs were "no feet" as the driver did not seem to know this either. Other knowledge about the springs were interesting and insightful though. Lunch seemed unplanned as to where we would actually go, but where we went was actually great.
- marionhay00Batu Caves and moreHad a great half day tour to the Batu Caves, waterfalls, hot springs and also visited the Royal Sekangor Pewter factory and the batik making area. So interesting. The Batu Caves were definitely the highlight. I surprised myself by easily making the steps although it was extremely hot. The whole tour was great from start to finish. I was particularly happy with my guide Rajan who was very informative on Malaysian history and current affairs. As I was traveling alone he helped by taking many photos and sending them to be after the tour. He also gave me ideas on other places to visit in Kuala Lumpur. Such a nice man and I would recommend Rajan as a guide.
- Escape78420100Sightseeing with a local is best !It was great to have a local tour take us through the city and visit a local hot springs and waterfall. Then, we went to Batu Caves which was also amazing to experience . My kids had a lot of fun with the monkeys at the waterfall and at the temple . We took amazing pictures . We also had a chance to eat like a local with the help of Khanan. He was very informative and friendly . We loved the experience and are very grateful to have him tour us around KL.
- Y6341XSchrisg00Great personal tourVery good personal tour in private car with lots of commentary and information about Malaysia. Nice to see a bit of the real KL, with traditional food for lunch. Would recommend.
