I will keep my visit to Malaca as a memorable one. Introduced and expertly described by our knowledgeable, engaging guide and captivating storyteller, Johnson has skillfully created a journey community out of our international visiting group. The landscapes, the history and the people are unique to discover. What a magnetizing cosmopolitan place.

Because Melaka was one of the suggested destinations to visit while in Malaysia, I decided to sign up for this tour. I looked at the schedule to prepare myself, but little did I know I was in for a nice time. Despite the fact that I dislike history, our guide, Mr. Lucas, was able to explain the history of Melaka to us in a way that made it sound like a simple story for children. Additionally, we were given some time to explore each area so that we could take pictures and read more about the signage, etc. We visited St. Peter's Church, the Dutch Square, and Porta de Santiago before enjoying a delicious meal of authentic Malacca cuisine, which was followed by a pleasant dessert. After that, we went by a Chinese temple and had about an hour to explore Jonker street, which I personally found to be a bit too enjoyable because it was filled with so many souvenir stores, food booths, and coffee shops (because who doesn't love coffee?!). Overall, I heartily endorse taking this vacation! I'd also like to compliment our driver, Mr. Zul, for delivering us safely to and from Melaka.
P.S. I advise bringing a hand fan and/or umbrella because it can get hot, especially at noon.

The tour bus was punctual, with a very knowledgeable driver in Mr Avalee. he was excellent, giving information on the historical sites visited and insight into the Malaysian cultural landscape, a mixture of fact, fun & anecdotes, which made the two hour drive to Melaka less odious. The tour itself involves a good bit of walking and really can not do the city justice in such a short time, to visit all of the museums and cultural landmarks would take days. In saying that, a good overview was received and should we ever return, more time will be spent. I highly recommend Ivy Holidays for their professionalism and in particular Mr Avalee.

We had a great bus tour with Johnson to Malacca as our guide. He gives a good explanation of the key sites and injected has own personal humour to the tour. Instructions on where to meet and how long at each site was clear and he kept the group moving at a good pace. He even went the extra mile to return my wife's phone that she left on the bus back to us at the hotel. We had a great day with this tour.

The day trip to melakka was a nice tour. Of course, you can not discover a city with all its facets in one day, but we were able to get a compact overview of the classic sights in Malacca. It was a very pleasant bus ride. Our guide Lucas was open, communicative and brought us closer to the city with a lot of humor. The visit of the oldest church at Paul's, the Jonker walk, Famosa gate and a lunch were part of it. A nice trip that I can highly recommend.

This Melaka trip had just the right amount of free time for ourselves and the time that was dedicated for the guided tour.
Our guide, Mr Tan, had a wealth of knowledge to share about the place while being equally aware of world affairs. Unlike many guides who tend to push visitors around shopping arcades, he encouraged us to spend time exploring the city instead of just going around shops!
For someone wanting to understand a bit more about this "Historic City" this tour is highly recommended.

They don’t take you to any of paid museums, just the free stuff involved.
We missed many major attractions of Malacca and really feels like wasted my day.
The food they served was of not any proper restaurant, they took us to a hall and served us kind of cheap and tasteless food, prawns were smelly thought. And chicken gravy was not even eatable.
And tour guide was racist and Hindu extremist, he skipped all the history and kept explaining hinduism and he mentioned quite a few times that Malaysia is not a muslim country, where as Islam is official religion in Malaysia with 65% population as Muslims. And less than 10% of population is Hindu.

The tour guide Nadia was a responsible one. This day tour is of very good value as lunch is included. If you want to get a little of everything in Melaka, with limited time and budget, it is the right tour for you.
A point to note that if it is a must for you to go inside the churches, avoid choosing tours on Monday as churches are closed. It was disappointing to me, however it is not a must to me.

The bus is cozy and they pick us up on time. All the schedule is prefect, don’t have any big delay(although I understand it’s highly depend on the tour members)

It was about 10 hrs, we were picked up approx 8.15am then back in KL about 6ish but the traffic was a nightmare when we reach KL so you need to allow time for that.
