Many thanks for Mike Bikes and their crew for a great day of cycling! Our fantastic three guides, Krishna, Andrew and Ping, lead us through the city where we enjoyed lovely biking paths and informative stops along the way. Their care and consideration for the group made all the difference. Even though we had all different age riders (from young to older) with different comfort levels around riding, they made sure everyone was safe and having a great time. We’ve lived in Malaysia for many years but still learned new ideas about the culture and traditions of Malaysia on this KL Classic tour. This is a fantastic company with great bikes, great leaders, and great trips. We definitely will be signing up to do another Mike Bike’s Trip again soon!

Wooooow! What a big compliment! We are proud on that!
All tourist guides, including Krishna, Andrew and Ping are very knowledgable about the culture and history of Kuala Lumpur. They are passionated to show the guests the city on bike. Safety is the first priority and they can connect the interesting places in a safe and friendly way.
Guests of all ages are be able to cycle the tours. The guides are familiar with children and adults to guide them in an interesting, nice and attractive way.
The routes are specially selected and made in collaboration with Cycling KL. At this way we can highlight the less known and well known places what are typically for the capital.
The solid cycles are regularly maintained so that it is in a perfect condition and reliable to cycle in a safe way.
Great that you will come back again!

This was absolutely excellent! We did the Authentic Tour with Mr Hing who was the icing on the cake and went the extra mile to make our tour special. Although you hardly cycle on the main road, Mr Hing with his little whistle made us feel so safe - he stopped traffic - and we are a family of 5 with three kids ages 7/5/4. Only my 7 year old was able to
Cycle because the bike was a little big for the others but they sat in bike seats on the back.
The tour really shows you the old Malay settlement and it really gives you the sense that you are seeing the real city.
This tour is an absolute must - I cannot
recommend it more.

What a wonderful review! This is exactly the way of experience we would like that our guests have after joining a tour.
You and your family cycled the Kuala Lumpur's Authentic Experience and Hing, just like all the other tourist guides, knows a perfect mixing way of safety with enjoying. Always special attention to kids 😀 The route of this tour includes the oldest settlement, Kampung Bahru, what is often categorized as favourite by our guests, because of the experience of traditional life by the Malay citizen in the centre of KL!
Children from 7 years and up will get children bicycles. From 0 until 6 years the children are joining the tour for free in safe back or front seats.
We appreciate your review and are very glad that all of you enjoyed!

My wife and I joined MikeBikes tour in July 2022. We were a bit skeptical about a bike tour in KL initially, we thought it is almost impossible to cycle in KL city centre and did not really expect too much. When we first arrived at their office, we were greeted by Mr Hin and Mr Apit with a very warm welcoming smile. After the welcome we were briefed on some essential hand signs, things we needed to pay attention on during the tour etc. followed by a 'cycle test run'. Then we went off to Kampung Baru, a very interesting Malay village in the midst of the concrete jungle of the heart of KL city. Our guide, Mr Hin was very educational and has enlightened us on local culture, history and plants/vegetables etc. KampungBaru is a real gem in KL city but the scenic Kampung Baru Jamek Mosque, surprising Chow Kit Market, the historical Merdeka Square, and the (relatively) new Twin towers were all splendid highlights as well. Mr Hin is very resourceful in a lot of ways (even as a food advisor) and he is very familiar with all the lanes/streets in KL, ensuring our safety in KL at all times. Cycling side by side with cars and motor bikes in KL was not a problem at all for us, all thanks to Mr Hin. We were truly impressed by his professionalism. We were not only informed about KL's history, also on local fruits, cuisine all in an entertaining way.
We are really impressed by Mikebikes tour, specially with Mr Hin who is really knowledgeable, entertaining, enthusiastic, full of energy, accommodating and very friendly. This tour has changed our perception of cycling in the KL city. Thank you Mikebikes, and especially thank you Mr Hin! Highly recommended to everyone who wants to see KL from different perspective.

Indeed, cycling can be smooth and safe even in the inner city of Kuala Lumpur. You just need to know and connect the back alleys and avoid busy traffic.
Hing, just like all the other local tourist guides, is passionated and excited to show the guests the City of Contrasts and Diversity. the guides know exactly where to cycle for interesting areas and places and can do that in a safe and nice way. They will tell during the stops many interesting stories about the specific culture and history on that particular spot.

Very nice way to see the city, even after being in KL for a few days already. The bike ride allows you to see the city from a different angle and the tour guides are very passionate about their city (we were guided by Selle, Ping and Tony). The KL traffic is very chaotic but the tour guides make it much more accessible by guiding the group through the streets and stopping traffic for you. The tour will take you past multiple highlights of the city but also give you more background of the people and city itself. You make multiple stops, the guides assist you in making pictures, and they take you for a food stop as well to make the experience complete. I advise to book at 8 am to experience KL at its best time since it is still cool(er) and the sun is most often shining at this time as well. The tour will end at noon which still leaves you with a good day ahead. For solo travellers and for families a very nice way to experience the town!

The cycle tour is indeed a nice and flexibel way to see the city in different ways. The local tourist guides make sure that you will cycle in a safe way and exploring interesting areas, spots and buildings to get a complete and wide impression of the capital.
During the stops the guides will tell in a nice way stories of history and culture what are typically for the city and country. A tasty brunch in a local restaurant is included in the Classic tour.

I joined the tour with my 1,5 year old son. The bike with front seat was perfect, fitting/bike felt very secure. Guide Heng helped me a lot with my boy (on and off the bike, carrying bags). Was a little nervous to join alone with my boy, but with all the help and enough stops it was very well doable and a quick way to have seen all highlights of the city. My boy enjoyed himself a lot as well with many people waving at him. Heng guided our group very clearly through the traffic/city and has a lot of knowledge. Recommend it to everyone!

What a fantastic way to be introduced to KL. We were a small group led by the fabulous Apit. All the safety gear was provided, helmets, hi viz vest, bell, whistle. After safety briefings we did a 15 km circuit around KL including Kampong village, Independence Square, wet markets and China town. We stopped for delicious Malay/ Indian food at a local restaurant. Cycling isn't big in KL, here's hoping tours like Mike's will help get it off and running

Safety is our priority! Apit, just like all other tourist guides, knows the cycle friendly lanes and back alleys. He knows where to pay extra attention and how to guide the group through the inner city in a relaxed way. All the materials, including the reliable and well visible bicycles, are chosen in a way that all other participants can notify our guests. The local guides know how to use traffic symbols so that the tour can be done in a smooth way.
Indeed we intend to contribute the awareness of locals that cycling can be a part of the traffic in a safe way. It's an environmentally friendly way of transport and healthy.
In your 4 hours tour is of course a meal included and the restaurants are selected on quality of food, ambiance, hygienic and enough parking places for the cycles along the route of the specific tour.

Sin, our guide, took us on a fascinating ride exploring old KL, the homes and temples, and gave us a really well-informed insight into the lives of the people that shaped and continue to shape this startling city.
The bikes were well maintained and easy to ride, we had helmets and fluorescent tops for safety, and we felt welcomed to the city. To top it all wd had a great brunch.

We had a blast! We went about exploring the sights, sounds and smells of Kuala Lumpur city center in true Dutch fashion—on popular orange Dutch grandmother bicycles. During our 14km journey around KL, we cycled through the nooks and crannies of KL, areas where many of us locals have not even set foot in before, and visited plenty of famous, interesting places and landmarks such as Kampung Baru, Loke Mansion, River of Life, Masjid Jamek, Merdeka Square, Masjid India, Petaling Street, Sze Ya Temple, Sri Mahamariamman Temple, KL Eco-Forest Park, KLCC and many, many more. Almost halfway through we even stopped over for brunch at a local Indian Muslim restaurant where we were fed to our hearts' content with so much food to fuel us for the 2nd part of the activity. The entire activity was very educational and we gained many new insights about the local culture and history along the journey. Of course we also burnt tons of calories! A big THANK YOU and shout out to Apit, Ping and Alif from MikeBikes for making it fun, educational, interactive and most importantly keeping us safe.

It was a really exiting thing to do KLCC on a bike. Mike Bikes has very solid and safe bikes and knowledgeable local guides who speak excellent English. The tour itself show you the highlights and anyday life. I recommend this!!

Indeed it is a safe adventure to cycle in the inner city with local guides. They are very knowledgeable and will tell you during the stops nice and interesting stories about the different areas. Together with the knowledge of where to cycle in a safe and easy way, using back alleys, and their presence in the traffic the tour can run smoothly. All attention from the guests can go to explore and experience the city.
During the tour you will see, feel and smell the City of Contrasts and Diversity.
The Dutch bicycles are solid, reliable and easy to handle.

Today we had a wonderful day with Mikebike. A must do when visiting KL. Biking towards the city really gives you a different impression of KL than by car or bus.
Hing (or for the Dutch speaking people: “Henk”), is a great guide, perfectly English speaking with a impressive knowledge off the city.
Next time visiting KL, we will for sure go back to Mikebike for another tour.

I don't know the answer to your question but I have a suggestion that you use Google Maps to find the place. Apple maps took us to the wrong side of a very large block. I'd also like to say we really enjoyed the ride and I think an eleven year old child would find it interesting.
