Great fun visiting this place. The volunteers are encouraging and are always around to let you experience every exhibit. Should go with children and those who like science.

Invest yourself into it and in turn .... fun will be had
Good place to escape from the shopping frenzy of the surrounding area. The general area and the displays are clean and well maintained. It is not big and should you really want to reap in all the exhibits then allow yourself an hour to an hour and a half for time allocation. There are many opportunities to be interactive. Each exhibit had a explanatory notice however I found the font small and ended up feeling that it was a tiresome effort to do so. The latter is a pity, naturally endeavouring to do so helps one fully appreciate the feature of the exhibit. The staff were all very friendly and forthcomingly helpful. A special shout out to Encik Faizal who was especially patient and helpful in helping us take the photos of our experience. (Thanks Faizal ).Note the staff are insightful in knowing how to take the photo to maximise on the effect of the illusion, so do ask for assistance. There was one feature that took us all by surprise but it was a lot of fun to experience. Re age group who would appreciate this experience - pre teen aged children will not appreciate this visit as requires a bit of imagination and thinking. All in all a fun time to be had.

    Expense is real.
A private enterprise, but very well done. It is a good effort. But if they could figure out a way to depute more staff who could help in understanding the variety of pieces and how to learn and enjoy the science and result of it, it would be great. Also, if they could find a way of having lower costs, or with some help, make it almost free, it can turn out to be a good experience. April 2019

    Extremely underwhelming
Having been to the trick eye museum in seoul, this was a total disappointment. Its tiny, two very small rooms with a hand full of illusions. Not a good use of time, I'm sorry to say.

    best activity in Kuala Lumpur
We had so much fun during our visit at the Museum of Illusion. The staff was super friendly and helpful, they explained us everything very well and helped us to take some pictures together. I never saw this kind of activity before. It was really worth it and would highly recommend to visit the museum. Thank you

    The illusion of it all
A must see when your in KL and sooooo much fun for the family. My husband and enjoyed very much as did my 13 yo . The illusions are amazing, the puzzles are great and I did manage to do one( and it was 8/10 difficulty. Staff are friendly and willing to help take the pics ( we did go at a quiet time so that helped ) Aina was that staff member on duty at the time and she is a credit to the company. Nothing was too much trouble to her.

    Good place with decent attractions
Overall its a good place and some attractions are good and interesting. However i felt the number of attractions is pretty less and the ones interesting are even lesser. Overall its a good place to visit and click pictures for illusions.

    Excellent visit
This is in the heart of downtown and a good place for kids and adults alike ..the entry fee is a little steep though... however good some good illusions like the chair shown in photo and the tunnel which is the highlight according to me ...2 floors .. good passing of time if you have an hour or two to spare while visiting downtown ... kids will enjoy it.

We stayed in KL for a couple of days. We booked in Grand Hyatt which was just a 10mins walk to MoI. At first glance, the museum seem over-rated. The entrance was not so inviting, let alone the entrance fee. However, once inside and the staff started to interact with us, showing us the highlights and picture points, I was fascinated! My 13 year old was smiling and laughing the whole time; amazed at what he is seeing. Sometimes I saw him second looking or going back to look again. He enjoyed the oversized puzzles, he tried to solved it by himself. Yes, I sat by the stairs waiting for him to finsih. haha. The staff asked him if he needed help - they were polite and patient. When my son said no, thanks - they watched him from a distance and let him be until he was ready to learn the trick move from them. At the end, we purchased a couple of puzzle games so he can show his friends back home.

It's not a big museum but it's big on fun! If you are a thinker like my son and if you like to post unique pictures on your social media platform (FB, IG) like me, then you will definitely find this place worthy of your time and money.

A visit to the Museum of Illusions in Kuala Lumpur offers a captivating experience for both kids and adults with mind-bending illusions and interactive exhibits like the Ames Room and Infinity Room. The friendly staff explain illusions and help capture the best photos. The museum provides a mix of fun, education, and wonder, making it a great family outing destination.
The Ames Room, in particular, held the children spellbound as they seemingly altered in size right before our eyes. Another standout exhibit was the Infinity Room, which provided a mesmerizing backdrop for unforgettable family photographs. The interactive installations like the Vortex Tunnel and Holograms not only entertained our children but also imparted valuable educational insights.
The exceptional quality of our visit was significantly enhanced by the approachable and knowledgeable staff. They were readily available to elucidate the scientific principles underpinning each illusion, ensuring our visit was both enjoyable and informative. Their photography tips were especially well received by our children.

In summary, the Museum of Illusions in Kuala Lumpur seamlessly combines entertainment, education, and awe, rendering it an ideal destination for a family outing. Whether seeking mental stimulation, unique photographic opportunities, or a day filled with laughter and learning, this museum promises something for every visitor.

Overall, I had a fun and great time at the Museum of Illusions Kuala Lumpur :D There were a few trick-eye illusion station and activities, and I enjoyed the challenging mind game puzzles the most (spent around 1-2 hours on them)! Regarding the receptionist/staff, they were super friendly and informative, hence they even offered to help take photos of me and my boyfriend. Additionally, I enjoyed the 'spinning tunnel illusion' and the 'mirror lights illusion room', as I could take Instagram worthy pictures/videos there with my boyfriend. Additionally, I wish that the museum could have been bigger, but personally I think that this place could be a fun little date for couples!

We visited the museum with my family and had a fun hour thanks to the amazing staff there (Renu) . She guided us through the museum and made it a memorable experience for us by educating us on how to take pictures. The museum was a lot more fun because of Renu! Thank you

40 minutes is long enough to have a look around. Not flashy but probably worth it based just upon the vortex tunnel alone.

Staff is nice but entrance is over priced and all in all not worth visiting except maybe if you have little kids. A lot of ”illusions” are poorly executed or just too old etc.
