About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Excursion118846400790 contributionsGreat excursion! We had a great time in KL. Our driver Stanley was very instructive, funny et so comprehensive. The city ok KL his magnificent ! I highly recommande! Great excursion. You won't regret it!Written 12 January 2025
- crocky3630 contributionsMust do tour! Our Putrajaya tour was excellent. Our tour guide and driver was Stan who was absolutely fantastic. He worked with us when we wanted to spend more time at the Iron Mosque and the Time Capsule Monument. He kept us informed with other interesting facts about the Putrajaya area as well as what we were seeing during our journey there and back. The tour was definitely worth every cent and we can’t thank Stan enough for making it a highlight of our holiday. Will be definitely looking at booking him for another tour when we return to KL. An amazing man. Tony, Anne, David and Ruth Western AustraliaWritten 9 January 2025
- laeeqsham0 contributionsAction packed day to see everything in KLFully packed!! Liked starting at 11am to give time for breakfast, but maybe start a little earlier to allow for lunch. Would recommend to skip Royal Selgnor factory/museum tour—nice, but not on limited time. Driver explained everything well and took pictures for us.Written 5 January 2025
- sonyh7430 contributionsGood experience and a knowledgeable driverThe driver was well-accomodating and knowledgeable during the whole trip. He definitely seemed to try and provide more than what a regular tour guide would offer. The only drawback from this experience is the price, where it would have been very easy and much cheaper to have organised Grabs everywhere and buy your own cable car tickets.Written 5 January 2025
- PALMCOASTFLUSA0 contributionsJust a driverUnfortunately, we didn't really have a guide. We had a driver who didn't really provide any information. We were dropped off at the mosque in Putrajaya. There is really nothing to do there unless you want a boat ride. Thought we were going to see the government building but drove past it. Batu caves are amazing!!!! Again, no information or history was given. The driver was very polite and courteous, but you could do this much cheaper with the Grab app.Written 3 January 2025
- Troopersj0 contributionsNo show / no support!!!!Driver didn’t show up at the hotel. Called the phone number on the booking and no one answered. All round dismal performance. In fairness refund was granted immediately on raising a complaint. We used this company upon arriving in KL and performance was 100% opposite - so mixed feelings tbh.Written 28 December 2024
- Husain B0 contributionsNot value for money! Not value for money at all. It was just a taxi ride, which I could've booked locally for a much cheaper price. The driver could barely speak English, however he was polite & considerate of the fact that the queues at the Sky Cable entrance/exit were way longer than expected. The car itself wasn't that comfortable and old. I'd not recommend anyone take this, but rather just hail a ride via Grab app to commute to both the places on the same day. You'll save your hard-earned money to spend on other memorable activities.Written 25 December 2024
- Dawwy0 contributionsGreat way to take advantage of a layover! We had a great time touring Kuala Lumpur with our guide Jeeva! He was very knowledgeable and did his best to accommodate us (we wanted to eat a delicious local Nasi Lemak) and tailor to our needs. He was fantastic !Written 17 December 2024
- Jill P0 contributionsGreat guides, poor office staffThree days before the tour we decided we wanted to add a guide to our package, after reading various other comments. Was told this was possible and was quoted a price. The tour itself was good, had problems with the office staff. Mally was a very knowledgeable guide and we had a very enjoyable day with her. Enjoyed the actual spots we visited. The drive-through spots were interesting also but couldn’t see much from the car. Upon our arrival back at the airport the driver informed us that we needed to pay cash for the guide. This had never been conveyed to us in any previous emails and the original tour was paid for by credit card. We did not have that amount of cash on us and advised the driver of this. We offered a credit card. He made another call back to the office and again asked us if we had cash or even he would take American dollars. We again advised him we did not have that amount of cash on us and would be more than happy to give him a credit card. He again called the office and said he would text us a link to pay by credit card. This took numerous attempts because they were having trouble with their website. Very frustrating way to end an enjoyable day.Written 10 December 2024

- Laval P S L0 contributionsTime taken for travel by car, was 7 hrs on Sunday. Loss of time and boring. On the way back to K Lumpur, it took us 5 hrs whereas it took us 2 hrs to go to Malacca in the morning, by car. Tripadvisor should advise not to go there on weekend.. especially on Sunday, with the traffic jam. Also the car provided was of average standard, not comfortable.Written 8 December 2024
- kristinpF5365UE0 contributionsHarassed after leaving honest reviewI took the day car tour with Petronas ticket with this company. Left a honest review on another site where the booked it, which mentioned pros and cons and then was harassed by the company afterwards via WhatsApp for leaving the 'negative' review. Do not recommend. First, in my other review and this one I will say that this was good in the sense that you get a dedicated driver and a Petronas ticket, and if you're in a tight schedule that's nice to have in itself. The driver was pleasant and had some commentary here and there, but you're not paying for an your guide so don't expect that (it wasn't my experience at least). The con was that they ended the tour making me feel skeezy... They were not honest in their description of the agenda for the last portion and take you to these overpriced tourist trap shops and try to get you to buy things. They clearly have a deal set up with the companies to get a kick back from doing this, but it's not listed on the agenda so you don't understand what it is until you're there. Of course you don't have to buy anything, but it was three different stops, and they cut my time at the KL tower short so I couldn't go up it, which I think may have been done to accommodate this end tour. They list "Beryl's Chocolate" on the agenda, which is a actual place where you can do a nice tour with tasting, but you don't actually go there, they take you instead to this "Belice's Chocolate Kingdom" which is just an overpriced shop, and then these other two stores. They also didn't communicate with me until I contacted customer service the night before my tour... So I had the booking but didn't hear from them at all until I reached out to ask them to confirm pickup time and info .. other companies were much more proactive. Overall don't recommend, especially after they harassed me via WhatsApp trying to tell me to take down the review. If you do go with them, just set expectations appropriately, and I'd recommend telling them to skip the last stops at the "coffee shop" "chocolate factory" and linen place. They are all just stores and you don't get any kind of tour.Written 1 December 2024

I really enjoyed a full day Kuala Lumpur City Tour. The tour was one of the best I have ever had. I would like to thank Sadiq, the tour guide I was very lucky to discover the city with! Sadiq delivers both, private and group tours.
First and foremost, this tour was enriching, useful and interesting, as I discovered key cultural heritage sites and historical landmarks of Kuala Lumpur. In addition, Sadiq will provide you with additional information and hints that are not known by tourists/travelers. Second, you will see around 22 sites. It is the most informative tour you could have while in Kuala Lumpur, so I recommend to take it on your first or second day. Last but not least, Sadiq picked me up from the hotel and also dropped me off at Petronas Twin Towers after the tour ended due to the fact that I did not book the tickets in advance. Consequently, Sadiq advised me to walk in the ticket center and ask whether there were any ticket left. I followed his advice and managed to get a ticket that day! So, when booking this tour agency, confirm it with the tour operator that you would like to also reserve Petronas Twin Towers tickets.
If you book this tour with Sadiq, you will be extremely content and happy. Sadiq had also took photos of me. I have the whole album now! Sadiq is very organized, professional, knowledgeable, kind, welcoming, caring, open-minded and experienced guide. He will make sure that you will learn about all sites and will provide you with all information about each and every place you will visit.
Off note, I would like to highlight that during the tour Sadiq made sure that he would meet my personal needs. Therefore, I am so very thankful for all his help.

Highlight of this tour is the Batu Caves; it is like 16 flights of stairs to get to the main cave, but there is also a side cave/temple that is easy to get to for those who don't/can't climb. Once you get to the main cave there are a few stalls selling ice water and snacks. You need to tell the guide how long you want to spend at each stop; he follows a set format of stops, but will adjust based on your needs. Be aware there are shopping stops at a batik clothing place and at a chocolate store, both could be skipped (you just have to tell the guide). The chocolate store was underwhelming, especially after having been to a better version in Penang. NOTE: make sure to pre-purchase your Petronas Tower tickets at least 24-hours ahead of time, otherwise you will have to do what we did: go first thing in the AM with the guide to buy tickets for later in the afternoon (if they're not sold out).

This was unremarkable. The biggest disappointment was to not be able to get into the Petronas Towers. At least let us know we have to buy tickets days in advance vs. telling us that we just take a picture of the building and go. That is the highlight of the day and was a complete waste.

Hi Sir,
Thank you for your feedback. Please see on our product details, we have mentioned it clearly to contact tour operator in advance if you would like to go up the Petronas Twin Towers and we can arrange the tickets for you. The highlight of this tour is not going up the Twin Towers in-fact to visit other places as well. Kindly review the product details in thorough before making your bookings. Thank you very much

This tour is great for first time visitors to Kuala Lumpor when you have limited time to see all the highlights of the city. Ram was our great driver / tour guide that he was making sure that we’d have enough time to cover all the attractions listed on the itinerary! Enough gave us enough time to buy some souvenirs! Thank you.

Wilson was a great guide for our one day tour of KL. We started at the national palace and were lucky enough to see the king’s motorcade returning from the weekend. From there, he did an excellent job of showing us the key sites of the city and provided excellent commentary. He was very flexible about accommodating our needs and went out of his way to be helpful and very professional.

I recently embarked on a Kuala Lumpur city tour, and it exceeded all my expectations! This vibrant and multicultural city offers an array of sights, sounds, and flavors, and the tour I took was the perfect way to explore its rich tapestry of cultures and attractions. The tour also included a visit to the Batu Caves, a sacred Hindu shrine nestled within limestone cliffs. Climbing the 272 steps to reach the temple was a rewarding experience, and the guide provided insights into Hindu traditions and rituals, enhancing our understanding of this spiritual site.

I really enjoyed the city tour. The driver was friendly and provided a good commentary. He also loaned me a large umbrella, needed on the first part of the tour.
The city was crowded because of the public holiday but we still managed to see all the places in the itinerary.
A great tour and introduction to KL

Our full day tour was a great way to see the sights of Kuala Lumpur including the Batu Caves, King's Palace, KL Tower, temples, mosques, Pewter Factory etc. We had our own private driver, Raj (Dhana) and he was awesome. He showed us so many places around the city as well as giving us a commentary on each of the places. Our timings at the popular tourist attractions (especially the Batu Caves) were excellent too as we missed the crowds, except at the chocolate shop which was chaos, so we were just in and out. A wonderful day.

Skyline Tours assigned Ragu as our driver for this all-day tour. Our tour with Ragu was excellent. He was very knowledgeable about history and culture, was a safe driver, very thoughtful about heat conditions, and ensured that we had a very enjoyable tour. We would recommend him for any Western visitors or older generation such as ourselves. Thanks to Skyline for assigning him to us. The tour itinerary was also good, with a good range of historical, cultural and ethnic stops, as well as some shopping opportunities.
