See the best of Costa Rica in a single day on this 12.5-hour four-in-one tour that's perfect for outdoor adventurers. Cross the famous hanging bridges, where you'll experience the beauty of walking high above the jungle floor. Take in the incredible wonder of La Fortuna Waterfall and hike to the top of a nearby volcano where you'll capture incredible views of Costa Rican countryside. This tour includes a stop at Tabacon Hot Springs and a traditional meal of regional cuisine prepared in the home of a warm and welcoming local. It's the perfect way to experience the beauty, excitement and adventure of Costa Rica in a single day.
What to Expect
Board the vehicle with your guide and driver at 7:30am and begin your journey to the Arenal Hanging Bridges. Upon your arrival, commence with a nice hike crossing the bridges themselves. Take pictures of either the incredible view or wildlife as you walk across. Once you make it to the other side, enjoy tropical fruits and snacks. Afterwards, head to La Fortuna Waterfall, a beautiful scene surround by abundant vegetation as well as flora and fauna. Swim in the crystalline water or take more pictures of the 70 meters height waterfall.

Come lunch time, drive to a local family home where you will enjoy a delicious typical lunch served in an open-air area. After lunch, enjoy a nice hot cup of coffee and relax to the sounds of nature. Head to the Arenal Volcano National Park, known for having the most active volcano in Costa Rica. Within the national park, short trails pass through both secondary forest and lava fields from previous eruptions. Here you can see birds and some other wildlife during the walk.
There are five different springs at Tabacon, including a thermal river that flows into 2 main channels throughout the resort. Afterwards, drive back to your accommodations.
