The PADI Open Water Diver course is comprised of four components: classroom or online academic training, equipment training, pool training, and open water training. Choose to complete the academic portion of your training in the classroom, or enroll as an e-learner to complete this portion prior to your arrival in Costa Rica.
At the dive center in Playa Flamingo, take a total of five pool dives (flexible start times) and four 45-minute sea dives over the course of two days. All sea dives begin at 7:30 a.m. and end at approximately 12:30 p.m. and take place on Costa Rica’s beautiful Pacific coast.
Once you have completed the course, you will receive your PADI Open Water Diver certification, enabling you to dive all over the world.
