- kathleenbR9240MV0 contributionsAwesome ExperienceAro and Tama were our tour guys and they were amazing! Besides being knowledgeable on the area, they were also entertaining. We swam with sharks, held sting rays, and had a private tour through the coral reef which was breath taking! After our adventures they put on an excellent lunch. The food was very good. Highly recommend this tour!Written 18 October 2024
- dinovaf20240 contributionsSnorkeling with the Sharks and fishesJean, I would rate him a 20 for excellent. He was awesome guide on the Snorkeling trip. He was attentive when I scraped my leg on coral reef and didn't even know it. He treated the scrape with antiseptic and cracked me up when he said to bite my shirt because it was going to hurt but it didn't hurt at all. This was an awesome tour and I wish I made it a full day. Thank you Jean.Written 18 October 2024
- Navigator430167112670 contributionsDeserves more than 5 stars10/10. If you can only go on 1 tour in bora bora, do this one! My tour guide Taui was amazing. So friendly, funny, knowledgeable, helpful. Genuinely one of the best tours I’ve done in my life.Written 17 October 2024

Our Captain Taro was amazing, he was so friendly, courteous, knowledgable and kind. We had an amazing time snorkeling with sharks, rays, corals and beautiful tropical fish. My husband does not usually like getting in the water, but on this tour he went in the water everytime. He loved the tour and felt very safe with Taro. Thank you so much for this wonderful experienceWritten 17 October 2024

- S800XRjefft0 contributionsPerfect Day in Bora BoraAnniversary trip to Bora Bora looking for a day activity that included snorkeling and food. Looked at a lot of different options and finally decided to do this full day private tour. At the time of booking I thought the price was pretty high for a couple but it is a bucket list vacation so we went for it. The boat was on time and easy to find at the dock. Vatea our guide very friendly with a great sense of humor. In less than 20 minutes from leaving the dock we were snorkeling with sting rays and sharks. Conditions were windy but the boat cut through the water and was stable. The next spot put us into shark infested waters. I did not expect The Wife to get in at this location but Vatea jumped in with us and we had the most amazing experience snorkeling with the friendly black tipped reef sharks. Vatea also was able to take us around the lagoon put us on some beautiful corals which are amazing in person. The colors here are not captured well on camera. Lunch was plenty of food and high quality and tasty. The private hut on the Motu and the live ukulele music by Vatea was a nice touch. Vatea also took time to explain the palm tree and coconut and made a beautiful purse for The Wife. Looking back so happy that we decided to do this tour and now feel this was the best value for the experience.Written 15 October 2024

- annmarieh9060 contributionsAmazing… don’t hesitate to book… very enjoyable tour.We did the full day Lagoon Tour on October 7 with Captain Mike and we enjoyed every minute of it! We made about four stops during the boat ride and every stop was different and amazing. I never thought I would swim with 30 to 40 sharks and not be afraid but that’s exactly what happened and I also got to hug a manta ray which was amazing. The food was top-notch and the entertainment from our Tahitian guides was thoughtful, impressive inspiring and educational. I learned about the tree of life the coconut tree and found out the water dissolves kidney stones which my neice just happens to be suffering from so I was so happy to share that info with my sister…I highly recommend this tour. You get to snorkel through beautiful coral gardens swim with and see gorgeous sealife also swim with friendly sharks and mantas and the other stops. The boat has goid shade the crew is authentic Tahitians and very friendly and accommodating…Everything was amazing. Highly recommend.Written 8 October 2024

What can I say... we went to Bora Bora as a family of 6 and we chose Lagoon Service to discover the lagoon... Certainly the best day of our lives... Manu did everything to make this day the most beautiful . Between song in the canoe, snorkeling stop, excellent meal on the private motu, dancing with the ray Juliette and so on... What more can I say... We were in paradise..
So thank you MANU!!
A big kiss from “Mom”, Anaïs (the little one), Nicolas & Romain (the coconut breakers), Julien (the reporter for social networks) and Lionel!!

Best experience I have ever had. Wonderful! I have traveled all overthe world and this was the best place I have ever been at. Maui (name of the guide; not the Hawaiian island) and his sister made the experience even better: genuine, kind individuals! Will have that memory for the rest of my life! Extremely grateful and worth every penny!

Unforgettable excursion. Beautiful coral garden but especially the stops to rays and swimming with sharks. Lunch is also spectacular on the tables in the water, with fish and rays swimming between your legs and sharks a few meters away. Great food. Taamu and Rudo, our guides, were very nice and accompanied us in snorkeling. Also, after lunch we had a very funny demonstration with Aro on how to open a coconut. That day we were lucky and we also saw whales a few dozen meters away. Also interesting to tour the island with explanation of the various points and Resort on the motu. Probably the best hike we did in the 2 weeks spent in Polynesia!

Can’t believe I forgot to write them a review until now!! We visited Bora Bora last spring and had an amazing time with the private snorkeling tour. The guide was excellent and we had a full day or water adventures. The snorkeling was divine and we saw numerous animals. We also swam with the black tip sharks and sting rays in the wild. The private lunch was beyond delicious. All around a terrific experience. Thank you!!

This adventure was one of the highlights of our honeymoon in Bora Bora! Our boat trip took us all around the main island with stops along the way. We swam alongside black-tip sharks and stingrays, and we were able to snorkel through an incredible coral garden. To top it off, our delicious lunch was served beachside on a beautiful private island. Our captain, Mike, was amazing and deserves way more than five stars! He is knowledgeable and fun, and he truly made the day memorable. Thanks so much to Mike and Lagoon Service for a great experience!

This was our favorite honeymoon excursion for our Bora Bora trip. I was attracted to this because of the details listed by the operator. We are snorkeling fans and have done some of the other tours around Bora Bora already. My wife has food allergies and I could tell by the posted details we wouldn't have any issues. When I booked we were assured those allergies could be accommodated.
The tour itself was wonderful. Ronnie and Roberto were very engaging as hosts. We visited 3 different snorkel locations. We had a wonderful lunch. There was a lot of history and cultural information shared at many different places along the days tour. And with this being our 3rd different tour we still learned new things. I won't reveal the surprises of the tour, but they are what made this the best one for us.
Thank you Ronnie and Roberto! (I bought a ukulele as soon as I got home😆)

We spent the day with Niko and had a once in a lifetime experience. Best part of our stay here. We swam with stingrays, spotted eagle rays and black tipped sharks! He serenaded us with ukulele and singing. He was very gentle with us as we were not super experienced snorkelers. He served us an amazing lunch and beverages. He made us things out of palm leaves. He gave us so much history about Bora-Bora and the area. He also told us everything you would ever want to know about coconuts and demonstrated how to choose, peel and eat them. You will be so glad you took this trip!

We booked the private lagoon boat tour with shark and stingray snorkeling and lunch on motu.
We were picked up by our guide Rainui (the best and we’ll get to that) at our Four Seasons dock. He cheerfully greeted us and placed our belongings carefully on the boat. Once we began, he explained what we should expect as we journey around the island. He’s very proud of his culture so he’s knowledgeable and shared very good information with us. He also said if he’s talking too much, just let him know and he won’t be offended at all. We were totally fine with him explaining. I also asked him if we could stop at Matira beach for a couple of minutes to get a drone shot since our resorts had drone restrictions. He gladly anchored the boat and gave me plenty of time to shoot.
Our first spot was stingray snorkeling. One specific female stingray loves him. I forgot her name though. She always waits for him. As soon as we arrived, she started swimming around and when he jumped in the water, she was just swimming all over him. It was like seeing a puppy finally meeting its owner after a long day. He taught us about the stingrays and explained to us how they take care of them. Since it was a private tour, we got to swim with the stingrays so closely for the whole time.
After that we went out of the lagoon into the ocean side. We told Rainui my wife has extreme motion sickness so he took that into consideration and was very careful with his maneuvering into the ocean and she had no problem! Once we got out of the lagoon, we got to the shark snorkeling area. It was filled with black tip reef shark (about 4 ft long average). There I was able to fly the drone again and had time to snorkel. There were tons of shark! No need to be afraid because these sharks are more afraid of us than we are afraid of them. I admit I was a little scared when I first experienced shark snorkeling.
We headed back to lagoon and towards the coral garden. Once we got there, there were so many colorful corals. Rainui led us around the garden slowly so we can see the fish, corals, clams, and everything else that were living there. He explained to us how easy it is for us to damage/kill corals but how difficult it is to grow/revive them. He showed us a coral he and his uncle planted 15 years ago and how much (or little) it grew. That really put into perspective how corals have been damaged throughout the ocean and haven’t been revived enough since then. Sad, but gave us more motivation to be mindful about the ocean and the nature.
We were headed towards the motu (small island) where we would have our private lunch. But not so fast! During the boat ride, Rainui told us about his uncle who is the owner of Lagoon Services. He lives on his own island with 12 dogs! We talked about how my wife loves dogs. It wasn’t part of the itinerary but Rainui took us to his uncle’s island! We actually met the uncle there and saw his twelve dogs running around and swimming in the ocean. Not done yet! The uncle said to wait as we were leaving. He was just baking fresh coconut bread and he gave us some to eat. OMG this was the best coconut bread we ever had. Every coconut bread we had after that, didn’t compare.
OK now it’s time for lunch, for real. We got to the motu with a table set in the shallow water with all the food prepared for us. Rainui explained every single dish and how to eat using the plate made out of coconut leaves. The food was the bomb! There were grilled chicken, beef, and fish, along with various kinds of Tahitian bread, rice salad, vegetable salad, and various fruits. Juice, water, oh and yes, beer and wine. The quantity was more than enough for the two of us. And the quality? Idk why they don’t have any Michelin stars. Nothing beats eating delicious food with our feet in cool lagoon water, tiny fish swimming all around, stingrays and sharks come and go, the view of Mt. Otemanu right behind turquoise blue water, all the while Rainui singing and playing his ukulele.
Rainui, if you're reading this, parahata YOU ARE AWESOME! If you're reading this to figure out your Bora Bora activity, you should've booked it 5 minutes ago!
