Fun day
Dec 2019
Tour taken as offered from cruise line. A long ride but interesting to see the counrty side out of the city. Guide was informative. On arrival we were offered a welcome wine drink. Then we had an opportunity to ride a horse drawn wagon and/or horseback ride. Meal was traditional Asado. Meat was served on spits and was everything form excellent to overdone. Dance/gaucho show was very good.

Estancia/Gaucho Day Trip
Feb 2020
Our guide made the trip most enjoyable. Her name is Aime with an accent on the e, pronounced "eye-MAY". She explained everything about the mate and also the gaucho culture. If you go to Argentina, don't just stay in BA, get out into the countryside. This tour also included lunch and what a lunch. The BBQ meat just kept coming. If you like meat, you gonna love this tour. The music, the dancing, the horses, all good.

I'd Say "OK"
Jan 2020
It was a very long ride and maybe my expectations were set to high. Lunch was served in a restaurant setting, instead of outdoors. Show was interesting. but not very long.

Relaxing, fun day on a beautiful ranch. Great food, entertainment
Jan 2020
We were picked up on time and everything explained clearly. The weather was beautiful for our horse ride, followed by a delicious and filling barbecue banquet and entertaining display of traditional music, dancing and "horse whispering". The little boy of about 3 years old was a natural entertainer.

Gaucho Trip
Jan 2020 • Family
We had a day tip that lasted from 8:30 to 6. Gus was our tour guide. We were picked up on time and gus gave a commentary a long the way. He was quite friendly with the 10 guests. The highlight was the visit to the ranch. The meal was excellent with lots and lots of food and wine.

Exceeded Expectations
Jan 2020 • Couples
This tour was a lot of fun. There were a number of different activities to enjoy throughout the day and yet it felt like a laid back outing with friends. The food at the Estancia was plentiful and delicious. Florencia, Augustine and our driver Jorge were excellent hosts. We highly recommend this trip.

Great day out!
Great day out with Rosa, van was very comfortable, lots of information. As we headed to San Antonio, the silver museum stop was brief but interesting. The highlight was definitely the Estancia, the horse ride was pretty sedate, the lunch was fantastic and the time chilling out at the Estancia was great for our group. The food was delish, the wine was flowing and the dancing was a lot of fun - we would recommend doing this tour!

Nice way to spend a day
Our tour guide Cami, and the driver Maxi. Cami has excellent English and she was very informative. We reached the town of San Antonio de Areca, dating from the early 18th century it preserves many gaucho and criollo traditions, including the fine silverwork and saddlery of its artisans.

On arrival at the Estancia we were met by the owner Pablo and his collection of well fed dogs. We were all put on horses with a safety briefing heard by only half of us that consisted of “pull the reins in to stop, but not too much or they will walk backwards”. Off we went across the pampas on what was the slowest horse race ever in the searing 38degree heat. The asado (BBQ grill) had been firing all morning preparing yet more meat for us for lunch. It was very tasty and washed down by plenty of wine and beer. All to loosen us up for a lesson in traditional dance And horse whispering.

It was great to see the countryside, the tour guide was excellent, as was the food but would have liked to see a display of gaucho horse riding.
