Overview
Marvel at the spectacular Perito Moreno glacier in Los Glaciares National Park on this full-day trip from El Calafate. Travel by coach to the UNESCO-listed park and prepare for your first view of Perito Moreno at the 'Curve of the Sighs' (Curva de los Suspiros). Explore the park’s walkways and viewpoints to see the glacier from different angles and levels, and hear the roar as ice chunks fall into Lake Argentino. For the ultimate views, upgrade to include a 1-hour boat cruise along the glacier’s towering front wall — simply unforgettable!
Highlights
  • Door-to-door transportation eliminates the need to rent a car
  • Upgrade your experience with a boat ride
  • Listen to in-depth commentary from a guide
  • Focus on the scenery during the round-trip drive
What to Expect
Skip the hassle of renting a car and simply step aboard a comfortable coach outside your El Calafate hotel for the ride. Snap photos, enjoy the scenery, and listen to informative commentary about the UNESCO-listed Los Glaciares National Park before you arrive. Make several stops at scenic lookouts you might otherwise miss if you were focused on directions and navigation.  Once you arrive, walk on the glacier's wooden walkways and take directions from your guide to some of the nearby hiking trails. Your guide will also point out parts of the glacier prone to calving: chunks of ice rupturing off the face of the glacier and cascading into Lago Argentino. Opt for a boat tour from Bajo Las Sombras, which sails between floating ice chunks of every size and crosses the Rico Arm of Argentino Lake.  Drop-off back in Calafate makes for a door-to-door, stress-free experience.

The bridges to view the Perito Moreno glacier are wonderful and totally worth it...however the boat ride is sort of lame...for 1 hour you basically stand in 2 places in front of the glacier...the boat is small and crowded.More

It's what everyone does in El Calafate, but is well worth it. The boat ride is also worth every cent! You really see the glacier up close and it is just mind-blowing. Do it!

Es posible visitar el Perito Moreno la primera semana de septiembre. Me gustaría reservar este tour, pero he leído que el parque no esta abierto durante este tiempo.
