Let me preface by saying this tour is totally worth it if you have never visited the Grand Canyon and want a narrated guide that knows the area. This tour include multiple stops to the final destination of the South Rim. The description is accurate. A family of five, which included two kids under 10, was $840. The suggested tip was $168. Value is in the eye of the consumer. Our guide was more knowledgeable than outgoing and spoke very little on the return trip.

Mark was our wonderful guide! He was a wealth of information and was able to stay on time but give us flexibility to spend the time we wanted in each location.
The stops along the way were great to stretch our legs, use the restrooms and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
And the time at the Grand Canyon was the best part-literally breathtaking!
(This company was great to work with - they messaged several times to confirm the details and pick up closest to where we were staying).
Highly recommend!!!

My siblings and I did a private tour to the Grand Canyon on 31 Oct 2020. It was incredible! Before the big day arrived Kathryn went above and beyond to answer all questions and concerns we had concerning COVID-19 and what to expect. She was even able to ensure that we would be picked up from our vacation rental. Our tour guide Burton was extremely knowledgeable, kind and thoughtful and we had a great time touring the South and East Rim with his guidance. We were able to experience 4 different locations and we were allowed personal time for pics. There were restroom stops along the way and water and hand sanitizer were provided by Burton. Lunch was included, however it was upgraded to lunch at the Grand Canyon due to Navajo Reservation closures where lunch is usually provided. Lunch was mostly your basic American fare. Burgers, fries, onion rings, bratwurst, pizza, but there were also a few Italian and Mexican choices. However, we enjoyed our meals. It was delicious and the staff was professional and very friendly. Social distancing precautions were in place at all locations including our vehicle which was very comfortable and spacious.

Al did an exceptional job guiding the group. His knowledge is unending! There were 9 adults and one 6 year old child. I wish the groups were divided by adults vs families with children. Al did a great job navigating the child’s endless questions while trying to stay on point with area information but the adults (other than mom) found it distracting. As a grandmother, I understand kids and interruptions. With families on board, no problem. However, it disrupted our experience. It’s an 11 hour day together, so group congeniality is important. The stops, time allotted, etc. were timed well. Would definitely recommend this tour company.

Sunset Grand Canyon tour - there really are no words to describe the beauty of this creation. Matt, our guide, was excellent. He provided all sorts of history, trivia, and funny anecdotes! Our group was friendly, and really - the trip was perfect. We had contemplated just driving it ourselves, but we are SO happy that we could enjoy the trip without parking concerns, knowing the best lookout points, etc. Only downside, I lost my stocking cap somewhere in the canyon!! Thanks for a great trip Matt!

It was great from the get go. The guide was congenial, fun and informative and made us all feel like a big group of friends. She took us to some of the most breathtaking locations of the canyon. The scenery was so stupendous that we almost exhausted our phone batteries taking pictures. All throughout, the guide ensured that we were well informed and entertained. We had lunch at one of the stops. One of the best native foods I've ever had - the taco bread was delicious. The well chosen itinerary included a number of locations, each providing marvelous views that kept us in awe. This tour is highly recommended if you're going to Arizona for sightseeing.

Last minute trip was wonderful thanks to our guide & local expert-Burton! In the midst of trying times, we were so lucky to be able to take this tour on short notice. The 6 of us had a private bus (Covid restrictions make tours smaller) and Burton went out of his way to get us the best views and keep us well informed all along the way. We couldn’t visit the Navajo sites but the vistas we saw from so many viewpoints made the journey worth it! We flew 3000+miles in 3 days to see the Grand Canyon & we wouldn’t hesitate to use Burton & his company again!

The downside was seeing the visitor center & surroundings so empty on what should have been the busiest time of the year. Don’t live in fear...wash your hands and get Burton to take you to the Grand Canyon before the crowds return!!

Ask for Mark! Such a great guy and the most amazing tour guide. My wife and I scheduled the 11 hour tour to see the Grand Canyon, starting from Sedona. We expected to be exhausted halfway through the trip, but by the end of the day we wanted to go again. He had such a vast knowledge of the surrounding areas and the history of the different locations/landmarks throughout the plateau. He kept us well fed and hydrated, and always stopped whenever he thought we could snap a few good pictures (great camera man btw!). He also stopped once every hour or so for everyone to take a restroom break or stretch their legs, so we didn't have to worry about being inconvenient.

For anyone who wants to take this tour without the hassle of trying to snap the perfect pictures with hundreds of other tourists around you, I would suggest booking a tour in the winter like we did. We took our anniversary trip here in the beginning of December. There was only maybe a bus or two, with several other small groups at the same spots at the Grand Canyon as us. However, the other locations we went to didn't seem to have any other tourists at all, so we were able to enjoy the serenity of the snow capped mountains and the massive valley in the painted desert. We also weren't worried about sweating while we walked around. We were able to stay cozy in our big jackets and enjoy the wind on our faces as we watched the clouds move over the terrain. It also gave us the chance to see all the different animal tracks in the snow, and one raven who was playfully rolling around in it at the edge of a cliff.

10/10 recommend this trip to anyone who staying in the area and wants a full Grand Canyon/Colorado Plateau experience.

We had a wonderful tour of the amazing Grand Canyon with our guide, Jason, and a pretty good group. The pickup at the hotel was on time, the van was comfortable with good power and great air conditioning. You want air conditioning. Jason has an amazing knowledge base of the area and native culture from prehistoric to present day. His driving was top notch. We saw elk, mule deer and a fox. Highly recommend.

My family of 5 adults took a private tour from Sedona to the Grand Canyon. We really liked the private tour for a couple of reasons. We did not have to wait for other people to return to the van at each stop. We stayed ahead of the crowds at each stop because we were prompt and because Mark was an excellent guide. My sister had a cough related to her allergies (she tested negative for Covid) and it was great not having to worry about that.
Mark was very knowledgeable and presented information in a way that made us think. He gave us the right amount of information without overwhelming us. I did not ever wish that he would stop talking like has happened on other tours that I have taken. I highly recommend this tour and Mark as a guide.
