Choose from four daily tour times during booking, and on the day of the tour make your way to Selvatura Park, an adventure and nature park inside Costa Rica’s famous Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. Ascend into the rain forest canopy for a peaceful hike along a series of hanging bridges that criss-cross different levels of this incredibly rich ecosystem.
Follow the 1.9-mile (3-km) trail at your own pace, stopping to admire the aerial views and catch sight of native plant and animal life along the way. With a comfortable width of 5 feet and a capacity of 80 people each, these are the widest bridges in Costa Rica, as well as the longest and strongest in Monteverde. This system consists of eight bridges ranging in length from 150-510 feet (50-170 meters) and in height from 36-180 feet (12-60 meters) above the forest floor.
Expect the circuit to take between 1.5 and 2 hours to complete, depending on your preferred pace. Suitable for all ages, the hanging bridges canopy tour is an immersive yet relaxed way to experience Monteverde's marvelous cloud forest.

We really enjoyed our hike through the jungle, and especially crossing the hanging bridges. It was amazing to be up by the tree tops and really good a view of the richness of the area. We didn't see a lot of widelife, but still enjoyed...More
After all the other great activities in Costa Rica - this attraction unfortunately fell short in a couple of areas. The location of the Hanging Bridge Canopy Tour is shared with 3 other activities - which means there are a lot of people there. When...More
Great hanging bridges tour. Make sure you have a good tour guide that can spot wildlife and flora. We saw and heard howler monkeys during the walk. This tour is not for people with disabilities or knee or hip problems. You hike over uneven surfaces...More
Although the park offers more adventures like zip lining, which the youngsters of our family took, we opted for an unguided walk. Finished the enjoyable walk at a leisurely pace before the zip lining party returned.
The reception provided a basic but useful map and...More
Watch out. The guys at the reception give you wrong information. It's also very busy so don't count on spotting birds or other wildlife. The bridges were nice but very expensive for what you get. Not worth visiting and defintely not worth your money.
The bridges are very easy to step onto or up to. Each bridges is connected by a lovely, well maintained path. 9 bridges, each a different length, we did it very slowly, on our own, and just enjoyed the sounds of the jungle... More
The bridges are very easy to step onto or up to. Each bridges is connected by a lovely, well maintained path. 9 bridges, each a different length, we did it very slowly, on our own, and just enjoyed the sounds of the jungle, the green! The birds, the clouds, took us an hour plus. Then we sat below the hotel, in the gardens, on a bench and soaked up the sun, and saw more birds and beautiful flowers. Well worth our time
