What to Expect - • No restroom facilities at the launch site (visitor center is the closest) • Just under two hours on the water for a leisurely paddle • Expect to get a little wet – depends on you (or possibly your friends) • To see lots of wildlife and stretch those muscles a little • To learn some basics about paddling and more about local wildlife • To wear your life vest & whistle :) • Great guides who enjoy their work and keep you safe • Lots of outdoor fun and a desire to come back real soon
Discover the natural phenomenon of bioluminescence in the waters around Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge on a nighttime kayak tour just north of Cocoa Beach. As you paddle across a lagoon in the dark, watch for marine life like dolphins and marvel at the glow of tiny organisms known as dinoflagellate, which emit light that creates a mystical atmosphere on the water.

A must go!!
We celebrated my birthday doing the Bioluminescent tour. What a great time! Staff did a good job answering questions and teaching us about the bio process. We saw mullet jump and used small nets to catch bio jellyfish. Would certainly go again!
