Yes, our naturalists really know their stuff. Most of them have degrees in wildlife conservation, biology and ecology and other fields. Some have advanced degrees as well, and are Florida Master Naturalists. We love what we do, but primarily that's the case because we get to experience it all with people like you, who have an appreciation for these wild and wonderful places as well. We are super friendly (hence our normally great reviews) and we specialize in logistics. We pick people up on our tours from several different busy areas day in and day out, and we do a really good job at it.. We have to. It's our business. But every once in a while there's something that happens (thankfully not very often at all) that is unexpected. We had a vehicle issue, as we explained to you right away, and we had to switch vehicles. Nevertheless, we still arrived to a hotel right next to yours (1 block away) to pick up another guest 25 minutes after the announced pick up time (not 45 minutes as you stated), and we communicated with you the whole time about it. We regret that you feel that the customer service was not great, but we have to say that we have never had anyone in all the years we have been in business treat us so poorly. Your yelling on the phone at our employee was simply uncalled for. Much of what you say we said is simply not true. We would never say those things. Your review is dishonest, as it also fails to explain the hostility you exhibited towards our staff. So, once it reached a certain level, we did suggest that maybe this tour was not for you. We felt it truly would have taken away from the enjoyment of others at that point, and that's the last thing we wanted to happen. The goal of going out and enjoying nature is to relax and soak it all in. We do apologize for being late. Like I said it doesn't happen to often, and it is inconvenient. But we did not want to cancel. And it wound up being a great tour. Thanks for your review.

Thank you for coming on our tour and for taking the time to leave a review. We appreciate it very much. We are glad you liked the tour, and can understand your comments too about hoping to see more wildlife that day. The reasons you suggest were not a factor though. It had more to do with the weather that day and the night before being very hot and humid. And because, well, it's wildlife, which means we can't predict what we may see on some days. While there's not a lot we can do about the sun and insects in the Everglades, we do provide insect repellent and sunscreen to all our guests, complimentary. The water on the shoes part was an optional part and guests were told they would get them wet on that part, and that there was another dry path around to take instead if they preferred.
