Overview
Chicago's famous food scene is a huge part of its identity but finding the best of all the options can be daunting. Let a foodie-guide show you the way on this culinary-focused tour of the River North neighborhood. Fill your belly with five tastings of the famous cuisine and avoid waiting in any queues with skip-the-line VIP privileges.
Highlights
  • Explore Chicago on foot, with food tastings to fuel you
  • Enough tastings to make for a full lunch
  • Learn about places you might like to go back to during your stay
  • Details about Chicago's culinary history from a foodie-guide
What to Expect
Naturally, the meeting point for this Chicago food tour is Lou Malnati's pizzeria, where you'll get to know your guide and group and get your taste of Chicago's famous deep-dish pizza. This tour allows you to skip any waiting lines and sink your teeth into that piece of pie right away, which will fuel you up for the next 1.4 miles (2.2 kilometers) or so of walking.  Learn about the origins of some of Chicago's famous dishes while you walk, a commentary often missing in do-it-yourself food tours. Your guide is well-versed in the history and culinary culture of each tasting you'll have over the next few hours. You'll also see some major landmarks as you try pizza, hot dogs, popcorn, roast beef, and other local specialties.

David was the best tour guide ever! I did the Best in Chow food tour, and we had a delicious deep dish pizza with a butter crust, a uniquely flavored Italian beef sandwich, one of Portillo’s famous hotdogs (the one with the pickle on it), Garrett’s mix popcorn, and a Nutella
