Absolutely an adventure of a lifetime. Pilot David Robinson made the trip a perfect event with the flying, picnic lunch and excellent tour guide! A must do while in Las Vegas.
Venture beyond the neon lights on the Las Vegas Strip out to the rugged desert of Nevada and Arizona. See the Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, and the Colorado River, all from the comfort of a state-of-the-art A-Star helicopter on this trip. Your pilot provides commentary throughout the flight, which ends with a flyover of the Strip.
Meet at the heliport near the Strip for your 45-minute Grand Canyon flight departing from Las Vegas. Choose from morning or afternoon departure times. Strap into a sleek A-Star helicopter that’s built for sightseeing, and begin your journey to the Grand Canyon.
On your way, take in the sights of the American Southwest—red rock landscapes, Hoover Dam, the Colorado River, Lake Mead, and several extinct volcanoes—as your pilot shares history and information about the natural and manmade landmarks.
At the West Rim, turn to follow the canyon’s natural twists and turns for the next 40 miles (64 kilometers), snapping photos of this geological masterpiece along the way.
As you approach Vegas on the return trip home, the pilot flies low over the Strip for one last bird’s-eye view. Touch down at the heliport where your tour ends.

Fantastic ride of the GC and Hoover Dam by the professional and charismatic Fred! We were both nervous but the trip was excellent. Would highly recommend this trip and also ask for Fred!
We were disappointed in our very expensive Grand Canyon helicopter tour with Sundance. Captain was ambivalent, said “don’t take it personal if I don’t say much” and taped narrative was completely off from our actual flight. Sound system cut in and out — totally ridiculous...More
