Get an inside look at the Hoover Dam on a small-group tour from Las Vegas. You’ll see the visitor’s center, take a power plant tour, and grasp the dam’s spectacular scale on the “Walk on the Top,” a stroll over the dam. Going both into and over the Hoover Dam on a tour from Las Vegas, you’ll get a firsthand look at the dam’s inner workings and history.
Meet a driver at select hotels in Las Vegas and board a comfortable, climate-controlled vehicle for the trip to the Hoover Dam.
As you ride, learn Hoover Dam history from your guide, and take in views across the beautiful Nevada desert.
Upon arrival, start with the Powerplant Tour, dropping 524 feet (160 meters) into the Black Canyon to see the Nevada Powerwing. You’ll walk past massive generators and diversion tunnels, and then glide back up to the Visitor Center to explore exhibits on the building and the dam’s daily operations.
Next, walk on top of the dam itself, pausing on the bypass bridge to check out views from above. After a morning exploring the dam, the tour will stop for an included restaurant lunch, and then conclude with drop-off at your original Las Vegas departure point.
