Overview
Visit the incredible landscapes of Death Valley on this day trip from Las Vegas. Known as the hottest and driest place in the Western Hemisphere, this unique area is a photographer’s paradise. Journey through rugged terrain of the Mojave Desert and marvel at the extreme desert environment bursting with vibrant color as your guide takes you to the must-see highlights of this fascinating national park. Round-trip transportation by air-conditioned mini-bus, lunch and plenty of bottled water are included. Kindly select your lunch options from beef, turkey or vegetarian when making your booking.
Highlights
  • See the highlights of Death Valley in just one day
  • Travel between Zabriskie Point, Dante’s Peak, and Badwater Basin with ease
  • A stress-free package ideal for first-time visitors
  • Hassle-free round-trip transportation from your Las Vegas hotel
What to Expect
Your tour begins with pickup at your Las Vegas hotel. Meet your guide, board an air-conditioned minibus and relax on the drive to Death Valley National Park. The first stop of the day is Zabriskie Point, home to a maze of eroded, vibrantly colored badlands that the area is famous for. Explore the area before boarding the minibus for the next stop. Take the scenic route to Badwater Basin, the lowest point in the Western Hemisphere, sitting 282 feet (85 meters) below sea level. Visit the protected salt flats that are too harsh for most plants and animals to survive. Next, drive up to Dante’s Peak, a mountaintop overlook more than 5,000 feet (1,524 meters) above the valley. Spend time enjoying the views before stopping for lunch (included). The final stop of the day is the Furnace Creek Visitor Center. Browse the books and collect a Death Valley stamp in your National Park passport before heading back to Las Vegas for drop off at your hotel.
