Haji was a great guide and prompt to respond and provide instructions since we only booked a day in advance. Pick up from hotel on time at 8 am and we went to see the palace (just outside), both major mosques in the downtown area, Regalia museum (very cool) and did the boat ride and lunch at a local's home in Kampung Ayer Watertown last. It's a great tour to get around as taxis are otherwise hard to come by in Brunei. Hajo told us plenty about Brunei history, the work and life of the people (Brunei only has close to 500k population) and always had some inside information which made the tour fun and entertaining!

My tour guide Faisal was super informative, had answers to everything. The tour covered the top tourist sites. It was the perfect way to see the city. I really enjoyed my time. I highly recommend it for anyone!

Great tour guide. A bit pricey for mostly free stuff to see all in the same area. Would be almost as good on your own with limited prior research.

Jason was great! He gave us lots of information and showed us all over, in spite of the rain! Thank you Jason, we very much enjoyed our day!

Thank you to Muhammad for providing us with a great experience. His knowledge and history of Brunei was very impressive. One of of the highlights of tour was being invited into a home in the water village.

We booked the tour when we plan to visit Brunei on a cruise ship. We booked the tour via Viator (same company as TripAdvisor), but it turned out the travel time from the cruise port is too long to fit the original tour timeline.
Nevertheless, Bruneian Guide was super super communicative and helpful. We were able to communicate with him initially via Viator, and then via WhatsApp. He was happily able to help find us alternatives, even though his original tour could not accommodate the time to travel from the cruise port (the original tour starts from a hotel somewhere in Bandar, almost an hour from the cruise port).
In short, he is just a top notch and super helpful person, even on a situation when he won't personally benefit from it. I can only imagine how helpful he is on his own tour.
Thanks again very much for your help and thoughfulness!!

When we take part in this tour, it will be my friend's birthday.
So when we visit the Kampong Ayer, would you give her some
special cake or traditional way to cerebrate the birthday?
I know it's a rude request, but please accept my wish!
ツアー参加当日は、友達の誕生日です。 厚かましいことと知りながら、水上集落を訪れた時に、誕生日を祝うケーキやブルネイらしいお祝いを受けられたら、とてもうれしいです。

We want to book from Royal Brunei Airways but cankot find an option. Do we need a Visa to do the tour? We are just on a stopover for the day between flights. Thanks.

*Likely to sell out: Based on Viator’s booking data and information from the provider from the past 30 days, it seems likely this experience will sell out through Viator, a Tripadvisor company.
