Edwin and Monroe provided expert guidance on our hike and bike tour. Edwin drive the van, adjusted the bikes, and loaded us on and off the van. He provided informative snd humorous commentary along the drive. Monroe accompanied us on the biking and hiking portions, sharing his love the area. As our tour was on a Saturday morning, Hwy 30 was quite busy as were some of the parking areas. I was glad to leave the navigation to Edwin. The experience was exactly what we were looking for to experience this Oregon treasure.

This might be one of our favorite excursions ever! The weather was perfect for a hike and bike! The van was nice and clean, the bikes were in great shape, and helmets were provided. Edwin was our guide and on the drive out to the gorge he provided lots of information about history, plants, and waterfalls along the highway. The bike ride was so beautiful! The hike was fairly easy and the views were phenomenal. Our entire family of four loved this adventure and we highly recommend it and this tour group!

This was by far my favorite thing I've done in Portland. Edwin and Sarah were fantastic. I arrived a little early and adjusted my bike seat and helmet, became acquainted with Bear; the lovely dog who joined us for the trip, the others arrived, and off we went!

We got to see some absolutely gorgeous waterfalls, rivers, and trails. It was practically empty at the parks due to the weather (initially heavy rain and hail) but it cleared up and all the extra rainwater really added to the beauty of the waterfalls. Both guides were very knowledgeable and answered any question I had. They were friendly and outgoing and I can't thank them enough.

The bike ride was also great. Most of it was downhill, with the exception of the ending which was a minor uphill climb for about 1/3 of a mile. It wasn't difficult and the views were breathtaking. Thanks again guys, I had a blast!

I had a great time with Edwin and Madi on this tour. It condensed the best bits of biking (downhill!) and hiking (right next to spectacular waterfalls!) into a 5 hour trip.

Not only was the trip great - but get this - they happily took me out even though i was the only one there because it’s low season and during the week! So nice of them.

It’s was a bit of uphill bicycling but It’s not physically demanding. Their bikes were great and you get setup before heading out. There are different rest stops and plenty of opportunities to take pics. The time really flew by.

They also have other tours - a big group did a donut sunrise tour before me. Next time have to check that out.

Highly recommended. And try to do this in the beginning of your trip to Portland and get tips off them on what else to do. They were great.

I planned a weekend of adventure in Oregon for so much R&R and it included the Hike and Bike Waterfall Tour. I hadn't biked in a long while, but bike was fitted perfectly and it all came back. I enjoyed the 3 other ladies on the tour and Edwin was a great guide. He checked on us as we rode throughout and even joined us on a couple of short hikes. The stories and information on the areas we visited were interesting and I felt the tour length was perfect. As a former tour guide, I know the work involved in leading tours - a lot harder than it looks. Kudos to Edwin for biking back up those hills to bring our van back down!

Loved this trip, awesome scenery, well organised, and pretty easy biking/hiking. Guide knew her stuff, and was helpful to accomodate our need for morning coffee on the way to the mountains.

This tour was absolutely fantastic and my favorite part of our trip to the west coast. The tour guides were knowledgable and the views were absolutely phenomenal. They knew all the top spots to visit and gave information along the entire tour. The bike portion was mostly all downhill and a super easy ride, but definitely worth it for the experience and views. I would absolutely go on this tour or another tour with Around Portland again!

We only hiked and did not bike. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly. The waterfalls were beautiful, nature was amazing, and we never had to worry about parking or where we were going. We went on the morning hike and we would have never been able to see all these spots on our own. Our group seemed in fairly good shape but you’ll be fine as long as you can walk 2 miles. We only had a day or would’ve done a city tour also. Highly recommend this company!
