    What to Expect
Celebrate the show that made country music famous with a ticket to a performance at the Grand Ole Opry.

The Grand Ole Opry is a country music stage show in Nashville, founded in 1925 by George D. Hay as a barn dance on WSM, aka the Legend, a 50,000-watt AM radio station located in Nashville. Dedicated to honoring country music and its history, the Opry continues to feature a mix of legends and contemporary chart-toppers performing country, bluegrass, folk, gospel and comedy. It is considered an American icon, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors from around the world — with millions of radio and Internet listeners tuning in to the broadcast.

The show that made country music famous is also country’s most famous stage.

Experience this unique and celebrated stage performance, featuring six to eight bands or artists from a wide spectrum of musicians. Some of the superstars that have performed here in the past include Patsy Cline, Vince Gill, Alison Krauss, Willie Nelson and Carrie Underwood, to name only a handful.

It’s a bucket-list item for not only fans of country music, but music lovers in general.

First of all, let me admit that I am not a big fan of country music. Nonetheless, the backstage tour and Friday evening performance were both worth the time and money. We were treated well by the staff and enjoyed the pace of the songs...More

We are not big country music fans, but how could we go to Nashville without attending the Grand Ole Opry? Some acts were outstanding -- Oak Ridge Boys, Jeanne Robertson (hilarious, and so refreshing -- no foul language), and a young man from Washington State,...More

Loved the Grand Ole Opry. My mom needs special assistance during long walks. So accommodating and patient and helped us feel so welcome. Loved the backstage tour. You see the rooms and how a show is made. Even get a reasonably priced souvenir photo taken...More

Great night out, absolutely beautiful auditorium, not a bad seat in the house. The music was very good, get there early and explore the mall.

Lots of great C&W entertainment. Well organized. Be sure to book a ticket in advance. We booked before the entertainment program was completed and weren't disapointed. It truly is a live radio broadcast with commercials and all. We arrived early at the Gaylord Opry Resort...More
