What to expect
Savor the music, movement, and flavors of Hawaii all in one memorable evening. Make your way to a private, family-run tropical garden near the mouth of the Wailua River in the early evening. Wander among lagoons and native flowers and plants as you explore the lush setting before dinner.   Your feast begins with a traditional imu ceremony, in which a roast pig is removed from an underground clay oven. Dine banquet style with other guests as you enjoy the succulent pig and a delicious buffet of other island favorites. Toast your Kauai vacation with your choice of complimentary beer, wine, nonalcoholic beverages, or tropical cocktails from the bar.  Just after sunset, head to a torch-lit amphitheater and take your seat for an elaborate luau show. Get into the island spirit as local performers present song and dance numbers inspired by the diverse cultures that have inhabited Hawaii over the years. Enjoy vibrant costumes and traditional music from places across the Pacific, including Samoa, New Zealand, the Philippines, Japan, Tahiti, China and, of course, Hawaii.  At the end of the show, head back out into the warm island night with your appetite sated and visions of island paradise lingering in your mind.

The luau was canceled by company. We were very disappointed but understand the circumstances. Maybe next time.

Best luau I've ever been to
Mar 2020
This was a spectacular event! Well organized. First you take a little train tram around the 30 acres of grounds while the driver explains all of the various trees and plants on the property. There is a small lake with an island in the middle that has the Japanese garden with a little bridge to walk over to get to it. You then have about an hour to walk around the gardens and take photos. Everyone then gathers at the imu where one of the pigs is roasting to go through the ceremony to unearth it. The food buffet is next and what a surprise it was. The best food ever that I have had at a luau and what a class act they have. The hostesses are warm, friendly and they are there to help you with any questions or requests you have. The lines move fast and the bar is totally organized to handle the crowd. After dinner and a hawaiian band with hula girls it is not over yet. Everyone goes down to the stage that has a huge open auditorium for the big show. It was also fabulous with dancers from all different Polynesian countries. We were there from 5:00 until 9:30 pm. What a wonderful magical night.

Great for families
Feb 2020
Fun evening starting with a train ride around the property. Large farm area with time to wander. Buffet meal was very good. Plenty of food and lines moved quickly. Very generous open bar. The show was very exciting for the kids with a volcano and fire. Excellent variety of dancing and a good story narrated to go with it. Lots of room in the venue and views were good from all seats. If it is raining don't pick the front 2 rows.

Cute Family Owned Luau!
Feb 2020
This was such a cute Luau!
I went with this one because based on reviews, it was the most traditional. Especially with the prayers for the food and family. You can go to many different Luau's but as a small business owner, 3rd gen., I felt great going to another family business with 4 generations in.

The grounds were beautiful with so many beautiful birds! It was so nice to get a tour and walk around before dinner. And the family/staff were so friendly.
The food was delicious. And I loved how we got to see the pig cook.

My only compliant was the show after dinner was very long. I know thats the main part but it felt very dragged out. But other than that, it is so worth it!

Luau the way it should be
Feb 2020 • Couples
This Luau harkened back to times past, with wholesome and gracious hosts who were always smiling and making sure you were enjoying yourself. The show was a little corny, which is frankly exactly what we wanted (not the flashy beach show we’ve seen before) with over an hour of good old fashioned luau. It was like stepping into the movie South Pacific, but with the bullets.
Wonderful!

Best Luau Ever

This is a must see show. The food was great. The service was excellent. We will do this show again when we return to Kauai. I would give this experience 6 stars if it was available. Thanks to the entire staff and Smith Family.

Great Experience
Nov 2019
The venue was breathtaking. The essence of the "Aloha" was definitly embraced. The food was ample and very good. The show was enjoyable. My only drawback was after a few minutes the seats became uncomfortable, and we had to leave without seeing the entire show.

Great food and great entertainment
Oct 2019
My husband and I had a great time at this luau. We got there and we were treated to a tram trip around the beautiful grounds and the 30-acre gardens. After the tram trip we walked on our own to take photos of some of the gorgeous statues and plants. The food was excellent and the entertainment was great. It was lightly raining when we arrived and they brought out umbrellas for everyone. The rain stopped and we enjoyed the singers, dancers and the huge variety of food offerings in the buffet style luau.
