Fun Trip Across Bridge
Super convenient when staying at Argonaut Hotel and be sure to reserve in advance. Driver and guide are friendly. Dress warmly. So fun with littles on the truck and those you pass waving enthusiastically. Fun way to learn about the city and beautiful views.

Best Way to tour San Francisco
Our family of 4 (with a 5 yo fire engine enthusiast and a 23 mo toddler who was initially a little scared) had a wonderful time on the tour. Exciting ride on the shiny fire engine for the entire family. Driver Johnny and tour guide Deborah did a brilliant job! Highly recommended.

Brilliant tour over Golden Gate Bridge
Jan 2020
We were recommended this tour by friends as are so glad they told us about it. What a fantastic way to see the sights and travel across the Golden Gate Bridge. Johnny and Deborah were very welcoming and made sure we had a great time. Deborah was very interesting and informative we learnt far more about the city and surrounding areas than we thought we would. As there were only two of us it was a very personal tour which was lovely. If you only have time to do one thing in San Francisco this should be the one.

Highlight of San Francisco Trip
Oct 2019 • Family
We took this trip on our first day in SF and nothing really topped it for me. It was during the fleet week celebrations so traffic was AWFUL but they just took longer to make sure we still got the full tour.

First up it’s a good tour. Second you’re riding on an open topped fire engine!! Johnny (driver) and Ray (guide) were great company and genuinely nice folk - making sure to always return the waves of passerbys and giving out fire hats to kids when we stopped.

The engine is beautiful and when it’s speeding along with the wind whipping at you it’s a joy. They supply coats to wear or use as blankets if you get cold out by the bridge. All in all it was an unforgettable experience.

Best Way to See San Francisco
Oct 2019
My wife and I celebrated our 41st Anniversary with a tour of SF and a ride across the Golden Gate Bridge in the BACK OF A FIRE TRUCK. Driver John and tour guide Katelynn told us for a 90 minute ride and showed us the sights of SF in a truly unique way. No words can describe what it felt like riding across the Golden Gate Bridge on a 1955 Mack fire tanker truck that was converted to carry 14 people on an open air ride. Great narration of the sights and history of the area and plenty of spots for scenic pictures along the way. It was the best way to enjoy the bridge and the looks of envy we got from those we passed made it very clear we made a great choice. Good for folks of all ages and you will get a tremendous memory of the city. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED---thanks to John and Katelynn for a bucket list cross off ride that was so enjoyable.

So fun!
We had a great time with Tony and the driver! He knew so much about the city! It’s very interesting and it stops on the other side of the bridge at a great location for pictures! It is a little bumpy but they even give you extra jackets to wear if you are cold!

Great fun way to see San Fran.
Aug 2019 • Family
Riding on a 1950s Mac Fire engine was a fun way to explore the city, riding over the Golden Gate Bridge wearing thick fire coats to combat the cold. Great informative tour guide, much better than an open top bus. Tour guide and driver couldn’t have been more helpful.

Good tour - but bumpy!
Aug 2019
We went on this tour as part of our honeymoon in San Francisco. It was ok. The time went fast but we seemed to whiz past a couple of places (eg on the other side of the bridge) where it would have been nice to stop and grab some quick photos. The commentary was ok - statistics about various things varied from other tours we'd done, but people put their own spin on stuff. The fire engine ride was really bumpy. We were told to sit on the left hand side in the back of the fire engine - and then almost all the tour commentary talked about things that we could see "if you look left"! That meant we didn't get to see lots of the attractions being pointed out because we would have had to turn around 180 degrees, which we couldn't easily do, given the seating locations. Suggestion: allow people to move around so everyone gets to see some of the sights being pointed out.
